V8

Interesting Fact: The Aston Martin V8 was manufactured from 1969 to 1989 and is a rare grand tourer vehicle, of which only 4,021 were built. The production process occurred in Buckinghamshire, England and a process that was done entirely by hand.

When it comes to the goal for the Aston Martin V8, the company was looking to replace their DB6 model with something that matched more with the trends of the current times. Finally released in 1969, this Aston Martin used an engine from Tadek Marek which was a 5.3-liter V8. This model became the company’s flagship car for two decades and was known to go from 0 to 60 in around 7.1 seconds with a top speed of 150 miles per hour.

This impressive performance, along with the sleek and sexy look of the car, made it a favorite in the public eye. Notably, fictional action hero James Bond is notorious for driving an Aston Martin V8. The Aston Martin V8 is an absolute classic that survives the test of time and only seems to get more popular as the years go by!
