Harry's Thoughts

This is a very nice example that is sure to help make its new caretaker many happy memories!

THE ESSENTIALS

This 2019 Mercedes Benz S450 is a beautiful one owner, lightly driven luxury sedan. With only 9,000 original miles, a full factory warranty, and a clean CARFAX, this S450 is essentially brand new, but with substantial savings.

This S450, also known as the W222 is now in its 6th generation. In fact, this vehicle dates back to 1972 when Mercedes Benz introduced the S-Class, which is short for Sonderklasse in German, meaning “Special Class.” Today’ the S-Class continues to be the best selling and most popular full size luxury sedan worldwide.

Newly introduced for the 2018 model year, this S450 features a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine. And before you start thinking “what?! only six cylinders?!”, keep in mind this engine puts out 362hp and 369lb-ft of torque. That engine, matted to a 9-Speed automatic lets this luxury express hustle to 60mph in only 5.3 seconds while providing 28mpg on the highway!

With only 9,000 miles on the clock, this car is in perfect mechanical shape. It’s already had it’s first serving at Mercedes Benz of Scottsdale, where it was originally purchased. It’s also worth noting this car has over $16,000 in factory options, including Premium 1 Package (P01), AMG Trim Package (321), and the Driver Assistance Package (997).

The designo Diamond White Metallic (799) looks real sharp on the Silk Beige / Espresso Leather (205), and the High Gloss Burl Walnut (H29) trim is real wood and makes for a classy understatement. Typical stoic, reserved German styling, but it works! Cultural commentary aside, the interior and exterior are both in fantastic condition. The only blemish we noticed was some minor curb rash on the passenger side rims.

Lastly, this vehicle comes from Mercedes with a 4 year/ 50,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. With 3 years and 40,000 miles remaining, its excellent condition and history, combined with a substantial drop in price over the original MSRP of $108,110.00, this S450 is an excellent buy for any smart shopper.

Financing available.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class, formerly known as Sonderklasse (German for "special class", abbreviated as "S-Klasse"), is the designation for top-of-the-line Mercedes-Benz models and was officially introduced in 1972 with the W116, and has remained in use ever since. The S-Class is the flagship vehicle for Mercedes-Benz. The S-Class has debuted many of the company's latest innovations, including drivetrain technologies, interior features, and safety systems (such as the first seatbelt pre-tensioners). The S-Class has ranked as the world's best-selling luxury sedan. In automotive terms, Sonderklasse refers to "a specially outfitted car." Although used colloquially for decades, following its official application in 1972, six generations of officially named S-Klasse sedans have been produced. In 1981, the two-door, four-seat S-Class, designated as SEC, was introduced, sharing the petrol V8 engines with its four-door version, W126. After the introduction of new nomeculate scheme, SEC was simply renamed as S-Class Coupé. For 1996 model year, the coupé was separated from S-Class line and named as new CL-Class (in line with other two-door models: CLK, SL, and SLK); however, the CL-Class was reintegrated into S-Class model line (same with CLK becoming E-Class Coupé and Cabriolet). The first-ever S-Class convertible since 1972, internally named A217, was introduced and became the one-generation model only.
