This is a stunning and rare 2005 Bentley Arnage RL (LWB) that has traveled 46,000 miles since new and is in nearly showroom condition today. This particular example is one of only 36 left-hand drive RL’s produced for the worldwide market.  Every Arnage RL was custom ordered through Mulliner and each is truly unique in its specification, making this the flagship of the Bentley line.  This RL is well-appointed with factory options such as a rear entertainment system, two-row heated seats, power reclining rear seats, fold-down tray tables and multi-zone climate control. This is an extremely comfortable and powerful car, capable of going toe-to-toe with the very best that Rolls-Royce had to offer at the time.

This Bentley had an original MSRP of approximately $300,000. It was acquired new with only 44 delivery miles on March 10^th, 2005 at Towbin Motor Cars in Las Vegas, Nevada and received most of its initial servicing through the same dealership. By August 13^th, 2013, the RL was acquired by Suzanna and Wen Chen Ko in Rancho Mirage, California.  It was later acquired by a well-known billionaire macroeconomist hedge fund manager in Bethesda, Maryland with 43,000 miles.  This Bentley has always received routine and preventative servicing, mainly by leading Bentley dealerships, and needs nothing to be enjoyed.

This Arnage RL is finished in Beluga Black (Paint Code 9561026) and the paint itself is in near-showroom condition with only a few very minor touched up rock chips. These are only visible upon close inspection (which is our role).  The 18’’ 5-spoke chrome wheels and the updated quad round xenon headlights create a powerful presence of this very commanding-looking Bentley. The Arnage RL comes in at a full 10 inches longer than the standard Arnage and only adds to its beauty and overall look. Bentley added the length to both the front and rear doors to create a very proportionate looking long-wheelbase version of an already handsome car.

Inside, the Beige Leather (interior code A4888/4BH) is in excellent condition, complete with black piping that creates a striking contrast upon entry. The leather smells and feels exceptional to the touch.  Even the extensive headliner is made from full Beige leather.  The nearly new Black Wilton wool carpet is complemented with Beige leather welting.  Looking around the interior, the light burled wood veneers with flying “B” inlays are perfect and gleam from every angle.  The rear passenger compartment is loaded with the RL-specific options, including power reclining heated rear seats with adjustable lumbar support and fold-down tray tables. The feeling you get when sitting in the back of this Arnage RL is akin to sitting in your own private jet for the road. It’s truly a unique and wonderful experience.

Power comes from the venerable 6.75 litre V8 fitted with twin Garrett T3 turbochargers which produce 400 hp and 616 ft lbs of torque.  When in full acceleration, it as though this Bentley launches, belying its mass.  The acceleration is due to its incredible torque which is available at very low speeds.  This power is delivered through its very smooth-shifting four-speed automatic transmission.

This Bentley has a clean CARFAX and has been well-serviced throughout its life, including a major service at 41,540 miles. It comes complete with both key fobs, many service records, a factory umbrella, tool accessory kit (complete with gloves), and owner’s manuals.
