THE ESSENTIALS

This is a gorgeous 2000 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph that had an original retail price of $225,500. It was purchased new at Towbin Motor Cars in Las Vegas, NV and made its way to San Diego, CA. This is one of 257 Silver Seraphs made in 2000.

It is finished in its original livery of Silver Tempest which is in excellent condition. The interior is also in very nice condition with Light Grey leather throughout and beautiful walnut accents throughout with only a few imperfections showing as noted in the photo gallery (one small nick and a few small cracks on the center console). We love the extra wood accents, such as the rear seat vanities, the picnic tables and the extra door veneers, making it feel more like a lounge than an automobile.

In May of 2017, this Seraph had a major service performed by the specialists at Carlsbad British Motorcars in Carlsbad, CA. All major systems were fully serviced, including the suspension and brake systems, as well as any electrical imperfections. It is now ready to be driven and enjoyed. The 320 hp V-12 performs brilliantly and is considered to be one of the best platforms on a Rolls or Bentley for decades.

This is a beautiful Rolls-Royce that can be enjoyed today! For more information and details, call or text Harry Clark at +1.602.245.7200 or email us at harry@classicpromenade.com. The Seraph is available for inspection in our San Marcos, CA showroom.

Interesting Fact: The Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph is a large luxury automobile produced by Rolls-Royce Motors from 1998 to 2002. First unveiled on 3 March 1998 at the Geneva Motor Show, it replaced the Silver Spirit, which ended production in 1997. Silver Seraph production was discontinued when the license to use the Rolls-Royce marque was sold to BMW, which began manufacture of an unrelated line of vehicles under a new corporation, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.   Development of the Silver Seraph began in the late 1980s, with design work commencing in October 1990. By April 1991, the conceptual design was frozen and approved by the management in June 1991. After several refinements were made, the definitive design was reached in 1994. On 28 July 1995, design patents were filed for both the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage utilizing production design prototypes as representations. Development concluded after nearly a decade in late 1997. The Silver Seraph was launched at the 1998 Geneva Motor Show.   All Seraphs were hand-built at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, England. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and $220,695 in the US. It was second in cost and exclusivity only to the Rolls-Royce Corniche, though it was the cheapest Rolls-Royce per se after the discontinuation of Silver Spur. A total of 1,570 Silver Seraphs were produced before manufacture ceased in 2002, making this a highly coveted vehicle by many collectors!
