1979 Corvette T-Top All Original CA-AZ Car, 35k Mi.
This is a show winning California 1979 Corvette T-Top that is not only fast and furious but in beautiful original condition with only 34,900 original miles. It was an original California car that went to Lake Havasu City, Arizona about one and a half years ago by our customer. It is absolutely gorgeous!
The 350 V8 engine has been professionally upgraded to 300h.p. with the appropriate cam shaft and other changes for great performance. This is a wonderful balance between performance far exceeding an L82 and yet perfectly drivable. The automatic transmission has been recently rebuilt and the radiator is new with an extra row in its core for running cool during hot AZ desert summers. The four wheel disc brakes are new along with new proper radial tires. The off the line performance is enhanced with the 3:73 rear axle ratio.
The car was bought new by a woman and traded in on a new car in 1986. It was so pristine that a gentleman working at the dealership bought the car and kept it for the next 22 years. It was only used occasionally, keeping it a low mileage original California car. He sold it to a good friend of his in Arizona, also a died in the wool car guy.
The exterior is Classic White and the interior is beautiful red leather. The paint is in very nice original condition and the sharp red leather interior is beautiful and in like new condition, reflecting the low miles on this car. We think this is the nicest looking interior we have seen on an older Vette.
The car is fully equipped with Cruise Control, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Wheel. This car can be driven with complete buyer confidence anywhere and gets great looks and thumbs up all the time. While in Arizona the California smog equipment was removed to increase the horsepower. If we sell this car in to a California buyer, we will re-smog the car and have it smog certified as part of the sale.
The some price guide show values up to $31,050 on this model even without such low mileage and great care. This is an excellent value and a real show winner!
