THE ESSENTIALS

Priced to sell!! Lowered $20,000!! This is a gorgeous and very cool 1955 Ford Thunderbird full custom build by Regal Roadsters, LTD. What do we mean by “full custom”? This means nothing on this car is original from a ’55 T-Bird.

It is all steel reinforced fiberglass with a special frame and all modern steering, braking and suspension. And it is built like a piece of art. On our showroom floor it looks spectacular, appealing to everyone who enters. Partly, the build quality is so high and the finish work is so exceptional, that it far excels a normal T-Bird in how they look.

SPECIFICATIONS OF BUILD
Stage 2 383 ci Stroker Motor (A Chevy 350 block with a 400 crank makes a 383 stroker. Approximately 420 hp @ 5200 rpm and 450 ft.-lbs. @ 4300 rpm)
All the goodies: braided hoses, billet alloy components,
Built with all current technology
Automatic Transmission
Ford 8.8 Differential / Custom 4 Bar Suspension
Eldebrock intake manifold, Holly carb, MSD ignition systems
Dual Exhaust, Removable Hardtop, A/C, Cruise Control, modern stereo
Handheld remote to open doors, trunk, etc. Shaved door handles.

This Limited Edition Thunderbird was custom-built by Regal Roadsters, LTD. It’s a beautiful example of the classic styling of a ’55 T-Bird built with current technologies. The convertible includes a matching removable hardtop, bucket seats and upholstery that is in beautiful condition. Complete with power windows, modern radio, cruise control, air conditioning and heat. Mechanically equipped with power rack and pinion steering, power disc brakes, stage 2 383 Stroker engine, cam, aluminum intake, headers, billet aluminum accessory drive system and many other enhancements.

The condition of the car is nearly as new. With just over 1,000 miles it is barely broken in. When new, this was about a $120,000 purchase.

Interesting Fact: The Ford Thunderbird is an upscale vehicle that featured eleven unique generations. This vehicle sparked the expansion of the market segment for personal luxury vehicles that feature a higher emphasis on driving comfort, rather than high-speed performance. Production on the Ford Thunderbird occurred from 1955 to 1997 and then again from 2002 to 2005. By the end of 2005, Ford had managed to produce over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. The car was originally designed as a sporty two-seat convertible but was not marketed as such. Within a few years, a second row was added, and the Ford Thunderbird is known for getting larger and large in size until the late 1970s. Many V8 engines have been used in the Ford Thunderbird over the years. As the size of the model increased, a larger engine was also required to support the vehicle. This resulted in later models having poor fuel efficiency. While they weren’t advertised for speed, Ford used the Thunderbird body in their NASCAR races, with many hitting an average speed of about 200 miles per hour. The final Thunderbird was manufactured in July of 2005, but the vehicle still holds up as one of the most comfortable and high-performing cars to date!
