Harry's Thoughts
THE ESSENTIALS
This is a fabulous 1932 Ford “Steel Body” Cabriolet (it’s a real Ford). This is a no expense spared Deuce cabriolet that is ready to continue to win awards at any event entered. This Deuce was professionally built by the craftsmen at Phoenix Classic Motor Cars at a cost of $135,000 . This has been chopped, channeled and shaved with finely engineered mechanicals: this is no trailer queen. This is a Deuce ready for touring and cruising as much as for show!
The drive train starts with a Corvette 350 V-8 with a Littlefield Blower and Holly carburetors capable of 750 HP! The engine compartment is resplendent with polished alloys and eye popping materials. All that power is delivered through a smooth and capable Corvette 400 Turbo Transmission with Hurst Shifter and a Corvette rear end. The handling is enhanced with a Jaguar front end and 14 inch front Classic American Racing Mag wheels with Mickey Thompson 15 inch rear tires (slicks).
It has a full hydraulic lift suspension to make this a show stopping Deuce. It has also been enhanced with an easily removable Carson Padded Top (easily installed in minutes with 4 bolts). The interior is fully modern with power windows, doors and trunk, full gauges, speedometer, Classic Air Conditioning and full leather bucket seats. Take a ride on the wild side… Live a little… This is a great ride. This Deuce runs and drives like a dream. This car has the original 8 digit VIN and is titled as, and is, a real 1932 Ford Cabriolet. It is a show winner every time. It was shown at the Seattle Roadster show in 2005 and won a top 10 award at this prestigious show.
This is a rare opportunity to obtain a real and rare Deuce cabriolet that is all sorted and beautifully presented. Don’t miss this opportunity. Register to bid on this drop dead gorgeous Deuce Custom Cabriolet!! This is a no reserve sale and whoever bids the most, regardless of the price, wins this Deuce!! This is Lot Number 75 and will be sold Friday evening, June 25th. Will it be you who brings this baby home? www.barrett-jackson.com
