This past weekend was amazing. About three years ago I sold my Type 57 Bugatti and have had a small sad place in my heart since. But I still attend the American Bugatti Club meetings every chance I get and hope to have another Bug within a few years.
This is the most fun car club, period. Half the members actively race their Bug’s. This raises the excitement for all of us. Imagine that at a Packard or Cadillac Club? No way!
Anyway, after a nice tire kicking session followed by a wonderful spirited tour, we met at the Mullin Automotive Museum. This is a VERY important place. The day before there were no cars; we were the very first to see it in its splendour! And it is gorgeous and, again, important. About 100 French cars are there along with furniture, art, glassware and other French items. This is a must see and I personally feel very fortunate that the Mullins shared this with us.
