Interesting Fact: The Ford Mustang has been in continuous production since 1964 and is currently in its sixth generation. From 1965 to 1973, the Ford Mustang was created from the compact Ford Falcon. In 1974, however, Ford decided to rework the Mustang to be a longer-wheelbase version of the Pinto. The Ford Mustang stopped using the Fox platform in 2005 and has since produced two generations that use their own unique platforms.
