The 1968 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible is a restored, beautiful example that is in great overall condition! The Camaro presents in light blue with a white vinyl interior, has A/C and a white power convertible top. It has a 350ci V8 with a four-speed Muncie manual transmission showing 65,369 miles. The Camaro was restored in the mid 2000’s with over $38,000 documented including mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The Camaro is in overall great condition and is a fun driver for weekend outings and local shows! 

This Camaro is best known for its long ownership by Gale and Ramona Adams of Plano, Texas, who kept it from 2003 until 2023. They were active members of the Dallas Camaro Club and served as its president. Over those twenty years, they carried out a thorough mechanical and cosmetic restoration, with more than $38,000 documented in service records.  

The exterior is in great condition. The light blue paint was repainted in 2014 with the original factory color and is in great overall condition. The brightwork throughout is in great condition. The white power top was replaced in 2015 and is in good working condition. The headlights, parking lamps, side marker lamps and windshield wipers are functioning. The Camaro has chrome Cragar SS wheels. This Camaro looks great and is ready to be enjoyed!  

The interior is in great overall condition. The Camaro has white vinyl front bucket seats that are in great condition. The black dashboard is in great condition with functioning gauges and paired with console mounted gauges. The Camaro has functioning A/C, heat and defrost. The clock does not work. This Camaro has a Bluetooth AM/FM radio and upgraded sound system.

The Camaro is powered by a 350ci V8 and is paired with a four-speed Muncie manual transmission. The Camaro starts easily cold or warm, shifts smoothly and drives great. The Camaro has power steering, power brakes with discs in front and drums in the rear. The battery was replaced in 2026. The Camaro has a well-documented mechanical history. In 2006, Camaro World in Garland, Texas completed a $12,600 restoration that included the engine, clutch and flywheel, fuel tank, headers, factory gauges with tach and an A/C system. The Camaro was later fitted with an Edelbrock intake and 600 cfm carburetor, a Flowmaster exhaust and a complete new wiring harness. In 2014, an aluminum radiator with an electric fan and new rear leaf springs were added. The four-speed Muncie M-21 manual transmission was installed in 2015. The Camaro is mechanically sorted and ready to drive!
