Harry's Thoughts
THE ESSENTIALS
This is a complete and concours quality restoration of a Southern California 1970 Chevrolet El Camino that features the 402 CID V8 with Cowl Induction. This is a gorgeous example that is nearly as new everywhere you look. It also drives as new and is fast and fun.
This El Camino was acquired new at Beach City Chevrolet in Long Beach, CA by Fonsesca and Silva Walter from Long Beach. By 2019, it had received its full restoration and was acquired by its present owner and added to his 25-car collection in Scottsdale.
The Silver metallic paint is complimented by the dual black racing stripes and the raised hood with its integrated Cowl Induction. The paint, chrome and stainless trim are all as new. The SS 396 labels clearly show that this is a performance El Camino, but it would easily be comfortable as a classic daily driver. The rally wheels compete the exterior. The exterior is in concours condition throughout.
The black vinyl interior is all new, including the dash and the center console with its classic horseshoe shifter. The gauges have been upgraded to Dakota Digital instruments. The interior is very comfortable and is all in concours condition.
The engine is the venerable 402 CID V8 with Cowl Induction paired to the automatic transmission. The engine compartment is in concours condition as well as the undercarriage.
This El Camino is complete with its Protecto-Plate.
This is a gorgeous restoration of a 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 396 with Cowl Induction. This needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately whether for show or as a classic daily driver.
