This Silver Cloud III was ordered through Rolls-Royce by Roy Barver Inc. of California for its original owner, Lawrence Adams, MD of Hollywood, CA. This Silver Cloud III was delivered to the Los Angeles port aboard the Sanuki Maru. The original color specifications were Mason’s Black with gold pinstriping and Beige interior. The original specifications include left-hand drive, electric windows, electric aerial, Sundym glass, and whitewall tires. 

The exterior of this Rolls-Royce is in overall good condition with the Mason’s Black paint presenting with a high gloss and showing normal signs of age and use. There is evidence of overspray through the exterior. The red pinstriping is in excellent condition and is a defined accent along the body lines. The polished stainless-steel wheel covers have the black center with its fine red pinstripe. Brightwork is in overall great condition, with noted dents present on both front swan neck overriders and minor wear visible across trim surfaces. Lighting includes dual headlights, fog lamps, and clear-lens parking lamps, all in good working order. The exterior reflects a well-maintained driver that presents in its striking color combination even with noted cosmetic imperfections 

The interior of this Rolls-Royce is in overall good condition, highlighted by Beige Connolly leather seating that shows minimal wear.  Walnut burl across the dashboard is in excellent condition, while the door cap walnut burl and crossband is in fair condition with visible aging. The beige door panels are in good condition, and the beige carpeting is in good condition. This Rolls has front air conditioning that provides terrific cold air through the control switch below the dash. This Silver Cloud III has fully functional gauges, a front tray table with an integrated ashtray, AM radio with electric aerial, and rear picnic tables. This interior presents in good condition and will be enjoyed while driving. 

This Silver Cloud III has the venerable 6.2-liter V8 which proved to be the longest produced V8 in automobile history. The V8 is paired with the reliable four speed GM Hydramatic transmission which was rebuilt in 2024. The major mechanical servicing was completed by JBS Autoworks from late 2024 to 2025 that totaled over $64,000. The most recent work in 2025 included replacement of the power steering belts, hose, seals, radiator, brake master cylinder, brake system service including shoes and drums, alternator, A/C compressor, and a rebuild of the steering box. In late 2024, the Rolls-Royce received fluid service, new tires, carburetor service, replacement of sway bar and trailing arm bushings, engine gasket replacement, power steering pump replacement, full transmission rebuild, brake servo rebuild, voltage regulator replacement, ignition service including plugs and wires, and starter switch replacement.  This Silver Cloud is ready to be toured!

The Rolls comes with a tool kit, factory build sheets, service records, and the Owners Handbook.

This Rolls was ordered new in 1964 by Mr. R C P Webster from Maitland, Ontario who was known for his mechanical engineering ingenuity with being instrumental in the first electric refrigerator. This Rolls was acquired by John W Blair in South Orange, New Jersey then stayed in South Orange when it was sold to Irwin Francis in 1977.  Atilla Eagleman acquired this Rolls in 1994 and kept until 2003. Vantage Motors purchased the Rolls and completed the restoration. The present owner has enjoyed the Rolls since 2004.  This Rolls has accumulated 91,000 miles from new. 

LSFU223 was originally delivered with Black Pearl livery and was benefited from a color change during its restoration at Vantage Motors in North Miami. Bare metal, window out respray that is in beautiful overall condition today. The shine and luster of the Sand color is eye catching especially in the sunlight with only minimal chips in high use areas. The chrome and stainless-steel trim is in very good to excellent condition. The black pinstriping and America Classic bias ply wide white wall tires complement the Sand livery.  

The overall condition of the interior is very good to excellent reflecting light patina reflecting normal use since the restoration was completed. The interior features the traditional Rolls-Royce burl walnut that has been refinished and is in excellent condition. The beige leather upholstery is in good condition with normal creasing with age and use, but it is without tears. There is front air conditioning and has been upgraded to a modern stereo system. The beige Wilton wool carpet has limited wear from normal use. This would make a wonderful modern classic driver that can be shown with pride.  

The engine compartment is well detailed and has been maintained regularly with annual services performed by marque specialists. The venerable 6.23-liter V8 proved to be the longest produced V8 in automobile history.  It has proven to be very robust, powerful and smooth. The four-speed Hydramatic transmission was rebuilt in 2022 by British Automative Works in Scottsdale, Arizona. The most recent service was performed in April 2025. This Rolls starts easily warm or cold with a drive feeling tight with no unwanted noises. 

LSFU223 comes complete with most of the large and small tools, owner’s handbook, service records for the past two decades, the factory build sheets and ownership history.  

We have this Silver Cloud III priced well and fairly, making appropriate adjustments for its condition and air conditioning.

This was a special order to a Scottish buyer when new.  This was about as custom spec’d as we have ever seen a standard Saloon.  This has been in Arizona owned by a single owner for the past 45-years.  This is presented in the original color combinations of Silver over Dark Blue with Ivory leather interior.  But there are so many other features that make this a very special Silver Cloud III.

The custom features included:

• Removable headrest for the passenger seat
• Seat belts order from the factory
• Leather headliner
• Air conditioning ordered from the factory
• 9-Piece matching leather luggage (no longer with the car today)
• Fantastic color combination (inside and out) as seen here today

$10k+ was invested to recommission this Rolls just in December 2024 with the top expert in Arizona.  This is a wonderful example that should be looked at closely.

This Rolls was ordered new by JS Inskip, Inc. of New York for George V Brothers of Great Barrington, Mass.  The Rolls was completed and shipped via the transport ship Media from Liverpool to New York on November 15th, 1963, and the Rolls-Royce guarantee commenced on July 7th, 1964.  Mr. Brothers ordered the Rolls in the rare and gorgeous color of Steel Blue and added electric windows and aerial as well as air conditioning.  By April of 1969, the Rolls was acquired by Mr. George F Mano of Wayne, PA.  Mr. Mano was an RROC member and retained the Rolls until March 25th of 1997, when it was acquired by the collector and restorer, Mr. Richard Gorman of Vantage Motor Works in North Miami.

Mr. Gorman is known worldwide for his remarkable restorations of Rolls-Royces and Bentleys.  For the next ten years, Mr. Gorman restored and retained the Rolls.  His restoration is to concours standards, and it now looks and drives beautifully.  On June 8th, 2008, Vantage Motor Works sold the fully restored Cloud with 46,612 miles accumulated since new for $118,500 to a large collector of Rolls-Royces.  We are now offering this gorgeous Silver Cloud III with only two registered owners from new.

The livery is stunning in its beautifully restored Steel Blue (Paint Code ICIM 151-2571) which now appears as new.  Steel Blue is a very rare and vibrant color that is a medium gray with a blue tint, changing color slightly depending on the lighting conditions.  The shine and luster are fantastic, and the tan pinstripes are correct and also as new.  The chrome and stainless-steel trim are all in excellent condition and look nearly as new.  Two of the bumper overriders have a couple of very small dings, barely noticeable except upon very close inspection (which is our role).    The Rolls has drivers and passenger side mirrors as well as wide white walled tires.  During its restoration, all of the window gaskets and seals were replaced and all the trim polished.  Overall, this Rolls would be very competitive at concours and RROC events.

The interior is also in concours condition.  The Beige Leather (Trim Code VM 3234) was all perfectly restored, and it is now in show condition.  The Beige Wilton wool carpeting is also in excellent condition with no wear.  The burl walnut wood is gorgeous throughout with a mirror finish.  All of the instruments and gauges work as intended, even the clock works perfectly.  The Rolls was ordered with electric windows and aerial.  The interior, as with the rest of the car, appears as new and is in concours condition.

The engine compartment and chassis have been fully restored by Vantage Motor Works.  The venerable 6.23-liter V8 proved to be the longest produced V8 in automobile history.  It has proven to be very robust, powerful and smooth.  The Rolls starts easily warm or cold and is comfortable to drive even with the air conditioning on and in our 100 degrees plus F temperatures.  Even in 100-degree temperatures, the oil pressure and operating temperatures were excellent, which one would expect from a well maintained 46,000-mile Silver Cloud.  With minimal detailing, the engine compartment and chassis would be in concours condition.

This Rolls drives as new with great power and handling.  Everything about the car feels new and it is the driest undercarriage we have ever seen in a Silver Cloud.

Ordered new on December 20, 1963 for Mrs. Chafica Diab from Lebanon.  Mrs. Diab was a well-respected business leader of her family business, Abdul Rahim Diab which is still thriving today. By January 12, 1982, Mr. Fred P. Sattler from Big Bear Lake, CA acquired the Rolls and added it to his collection which included a Phantom V and 3.5-liter Bentley.  He enjoyed the Rolls for at least the next 41 years in Southern California and was a long-time member of the RROC.  Over the years, the Rolls benefitted from a very high-quality bare metal respray in all its original colors, mouton sheepskin overlays and beautifully refinished wood.  Spending all of its life in dry climate, this is a rust-free example.  This Rolls has accumulated 105,000 km (65,000 miles) from new.

The livery is elegant and gorgeous in Dark Blue (Paint Code 4944) over Shell Gray (Paint Code 2389) with Fine Light Blue coachstripes.  The polished stainless-steel wheel covers have the Dark Blue center with its Fine Light Blue pinstripe.  The paint is in overall very nice condition with very nice shine and luster.  The Rolls has newer Firestone wide white wall radials that are a modern and safer version of the wide white walls specified by Mrs. Diab.  The chrome and stainless are in very nice condition with only light scratches in the stainless from normal use.  Overall, the exterior is in very nice condition and would be welcome at most all concours events.

The interior is beautiful and clearly tells the story of how well this Rolls has been cared for.  The Dark Blue leather (Trim Code 96) is original and in gorgeous condition.  The leather is relatively soft and supple and is without any major creasing.  It has a wonderful patina and speaks to how well it has been maintained over the decades.  The dark blue mouton sheepskin overlays are as new and look elegant and luxurious.  The wood is the traditional Rolls-Royce burl walnut that has been refinished and in beautiful condition.  All of the instruments work well and are in excellent condition.  The clock is not functioning.  This Rolls has both front and rear air conditioning that provide terrific cold air through one simple factory control switch in front of the driver.  This was ordered new with tinted Sundym glass and wind-up windows rather than electric.  We converted the freon to 134a from R-12.

The engine compartment has been well detailed and looks sharp.  The venerable 6.23-liter V8 proved to be the longest produced V8 in automobile history.  It has proven to be very robust, powerful and smooth.  The Rolls starts easily warm or cold and is comfortable to drive even with the air conditioning on and in our 100 degrees plus F temperatures.  Even in 100-degree temperatures, the oil pressure and operating temperatures were excellent, which one would expect from a well maintained 65,000-mile Silver Cloud.

This is a rare and beautiful example of the elegant 1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III long wheelbase with division built by H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward. This is one of only 84 RHD with division examples built on the SCIII chassis through its total production run.  This example has been in the US for at least the past 33 years and features the incredibly rare chrome trim molding on the front fenders ending into the front doors.

Though the earliest years of this Silver Cloud is not known, it was registered with the RROC as being owned by Brian Burgess in Valencia, PA from 1987 until 2001.  It was owned by two other RROC club members, Charles Hostetler and John Tutini.  By 2010 it was acquired by its present owner and RROC club member in Westerville, OH.

The livery is in a classic two-tone gray-blue over metallic midnight blue with contrasting red coachstripes and spectacular chrome throughout. The paint is older but it is still quite beautiful with spectacular shine and luster. The paint is in very nice condition only minor imperfections. The paint metering from the inspection proves that the body is free from filler and is in very good condition.  The inspector recommends further polishing to make it even more stunning.  The chrome trim moldings look sharp and give it a flair that is rarely ever seen (I don’t recall ever seeing this option before).

We love the look of the extra long rear passenger doors after H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward added the additional four inches to its length.  While subtle in appearance, the long wheelbase Silver Clouds have a more formal and elegant appearance.  The wheel covers are painted in the dark blue and pinstriped correctly. Actually, all the chrome appears in very nice condition.

The interior is quite original in its Blue Leather complimented with the gray headliner and blue Wilton wool carpeting. It is in very good condition for its age.  There are some areas where the leather dye has worn away.  Overall, it has a nice patina and shows well as an original survivor.   The burled walnut veneer is beautiful with some minor water staining in the rear section near the door jams.   The wood veneer in the rear passenger compartment is stunning and features a clock and other accessories.  The carpeting is showing some soiling, and according to the inspector, should be deep cleaned or replaced.

The front and rear air conditioning are said to work well and every detail of the car functions well. This Silver Cloud III flew through our 158-point inspection with ease and the report is available for your review.

The engine compartment is in very nice condition today, with only a slight amount of use evident. It would compete today very well in the RROC Touring Class. The trunk has some of the small and large tools, pump, jack and spare. It comes complete with its owner’s manual, historical records, shop manuals and other documentation.  CCL29 comes complete with its original UK license plates.

Bob (LSKP5) was ordered new from the New York dealership Rolls-Royce, Inc. and was then sold through Sausman Chevrolet in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania. The first owner was Mr. Benjamin F. Lucas, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland and was delivered on May 27, 1965. At some point, Bob moved to California where a thorough restoration was performed. During the restoration, the color was changed to the present Mason’s Black. The Rolls was subsequently acquired by our friend Mr. John Ellison of the Calumet Collection in La Jolla, California. The car had accumulated a mere 38,000 miles and the restoration was enhanced further by our friend Pedro Meyer at the Calumet Collection. The Calumet Collection was comprised of about 40 stunning Rolls-Royce and Bentley motorcars.

In 2013, Bob was sold to the present owner, R. Lee Harman, MD who has thoroughly enjoyed and cared for Bob through numerous rallies and RROC Annual Meeting and events. Covering 35,000 miles over the past seven years, Bob has proven to be incredibly reliable and certainly comfortable!! Bob has won a multitude of concours events, including 1st place at the La Jolla Concours, 2nd place at the Arizona Concours (against a Delahaye and after driving it down from Seattle) and two of the highly coveted RROC Dudley Awards (furthest driven to a RROC Annual Meeting).

The livery is gorgeous in Mason’s Black with twin coachstripes in tan and spectacular chrome throughout. The black paint is beautiful with spectacular shine and luster. It is mirror smooth over the entire motorcar with only minor imperfections. There are very small particles in the paint in some areas (most likely minor dust when painted) and some fine surface scratching. There are also a few minor door dings evident, once again, only with a trained eye and with careful close inspection. The external cosmetics appear to be that of a three year old motorcar. On the drivers side are two very small bubbles above the coachstripes. We love the clear parking light lenses which were a US delivery only option and incredibly rare to see today.

The wheel covers are painted and pinstriped correctly as well and the chrome is beautiful. Actually, all the chrome appears perfect except the passenger side mirror has a minor dent.

The interior is breathtaking. The burled walnut veneer is absolutely gorgeous without any cracks or fading. It is simply beautiful. The beige leather is also nearly perfect in every regard. It is soft and without any blemishes that we’ve observed. The Wilton wool carpet is also spectacular and the mouton sheepskin overlays are in excellent condition. Nothing is more elegant and inviting than the interiors of the Silver Clouds. Next to the drivers side kick panel is a vintage mini fire extinguisher that looks right, especially for a tour veteran as this.

The air conditioning works very well and every detail of the car functions well. The stereo system has been upgraded to Sirius XM and also allows for either Bluetooth or plugging into your phone or iPad. Bob flew through our 158 point inspection with ease and the report is available for your review.

The engine compartment is in concours condition today, with only a slight amount of use evident. It would compete today very well in the RROC Touring Class. The trunk has all the small and large tools, pump, jack and spare. Bob comes with its owners manual, historical records and documentation.

We have Bob priced very competitively. The Hagerty No 2 value is $112,000 (adding 10% for air conditioning). It is extremely rare to find a Silver Cloud in this condition.
