This is a beautifully restored 1967 MG MGB Roadster that has benefitted from a complete nut and bolt restoration. The result of the $40,000 investment is an MGB that is most likely better than new. This literally drives like a new MGB Roadster! Whether for show, touring or weekend use, this is an example that is one to consider. It is all completely and thoroughly sorted and ready to enjoy.

This MG MGB is presented in a correct two-stage Pale Primrose Yellow that was repainted by KC Sprayworks in 2019. This was a $10,000 repaint that is better than when it left the MG factory. Then in 2021, a further $7,000 was invested with Automotive International to repaint the interior, engine compartment and undercarriage and replace any panels, as needed. The result is outstanding. All of the components have been restored or replaced with new during the restoration. The chrome and stainless are mostly like new with only a few small dings in the front grill. The panel fit is excellent overall with only one small misalignment in the rear trunk (boot). The painted wire wheels have new spin off two-eared hubs. The black Haartz leather textured vinyl convertible top is as new, and it has a pristine tonneau cover also in black vinyl. The exterior also features a sport mirror mounted on the driver’s door. Overall, the exterior is in concours condition, and it looks fantastic.

The interior is also in excellent condition with its gorgeous black leather seats complimented with white piping. The seating was installed in 2021 and looks as new with the black carpeting, dashboard and door panels, all replaced with new and in excellent condition. All of the instruments were rebuilt by Nisonger Instruments and each works as it should. The BMC AM radio also works but was having difficulty picking up stations. Overall, the interior is like new.

The engine compartment is in concours condition, and the engine has been completely and thoroughly rebuilt with all new components. The dual SU carburetors have also been rebuilt in 2024 and the MG fires right up and has excellent power. Minor performance enhancements have been made, including a new wiring harness and a Petronix electronic ignition for improved performance and reliability. Again, everything has been rebuilt or replaced with new including in 2024 the addition of a stainless-steel exhaust and headers. Very important to how the MG performs, every component of the suspension has been restored, making this a fantastic driving MG. The transmission was a New Old Stock (NOS) four-speed that was resealed during the restoration. It is remarkable to shift through the gears!

If you are looking for a wonderful MG MGB Roadster, this is one for you to consider. This comes complete with tools, a matching spare wheel and tire, and over a decade of restoration receipts detailing the $40,000 restoration to create this wonderful MGB Roadster.

For more information and details, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This Silver Cloud is available for inspection at our showroom in Phoenix. We are pleased to coordinate inspections, and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

This 1974 MGB MkIII Roadster is a fun, fantastic driving low mileage example that is from California and Arizona. The car is largely original and in terrific condition. This is a great car for weekend and touring use as well as local car shows. Importantly, being from the west, it is free of rot with only some superficial rust on some chassis components. We are confident that this is a true 53k mile example. The driving experience, as a largely original car, is just too tight and perfect to be anything else. This is one of the last of the gorgeous chrome bumper styling.

The roadsters last owner acquired it about four years ago in California and has enjoyed the car immensely. He is an ER physician and used it on occasional weekends when time allowed. The car has been maintained by an import specialist and was well maintained.

The exterior is finished in a repaint in its original color of Damask Red. The paint has great shine and luster. There are a few imperfections from normal wear considering the age of the car, but the paint and trim are in overall very good condition. The chrome and stainless trim are in very good condition with few imperfections.

The hood and doors fit well and the trunk is a little high when closed. The hard top is in good condition with some headliner staining on the inside corners due to age and use. The MGB comes complete with a black boot cover and optional black tonneau cover which gives this car a completed look when fitted. The MGB has road-style 14-inch firestone tires, along with a spare in the carpeted trunk.

The interior has its original black vinyl seats and nice black carpets. Seats are a deep rich black and quite soft and supple. The dashboard and door panels are in particularly good condition and have been well maintained.

The 1,800 cc B-Series four-cylinder engine has excellent oil pressure, performance and runs very cool. It really runs and drives perfectly and needs nothing at all. The engine compartment is well detailed and preserved. Its last service was in October 2021 and less than 100 miles ago.

The car runs and drives like a champion. The gears are tight, and maneuvering is superb. There are no syncromesh issues and the shifting is perfect. This MGB is mechanically sound and would be an absolute blast to take out on the highway.

The car revs well and gives the overall sensation of speed and performance. It should be noted that the hard top did rattle a bit during the test drive, but it was not fully secured. This MGB has no convertible top or frame, only the hardtop. Everything works as it should. Overall, this MGB passed our test drives with merit!

For more details and information, please call, text, or email us at +1.480.772.8251 or carey@classicpromenade.com. The MGB is available for viewing in our Phoenix showroom.

Complete photos, videos, and inspection report available at www.ClassicPromenade.com.

This is a spectacular 1966 MGB Roadster that has won multiple awards and was upgraded with many performance enhancements to make it an incredible driving car. In 2005, this MGB benefitted from a no-expense spared rotisserie restoration from the British Sports Car Restoration specialists at 5R Restorations in Brookshire, TX. This MGB has won many awards, including 1st place at the New Orleans and Houston MG Register Premier Classes and the Octagon of Honor Winner. But as gorgeous as this car looks, the enhancements made by 5R are exactly what you would want on a roadster designed for touring. During the restoration, 5R installed a new 1,800 cc motor, Moss Supercharger kit and a Ford Sierra 5-speed transmission. And to balance out the increased power, it has benefitted from the installation of four-wheel disc brakes and timeless 15-inch chrome wire wheels with lower profile modern radials for increased performance and safety. This is by far the best example we’ve seen of a MGB that has a perfect balance of options for both touring and showing.

The British Racing Green livery is in beautiful condition today. It has deep luster and shine and is complimented by the stainless steel and chrome that all appears as new. The green Haartz cloth canvas convertible top and optional tonneau cover make the paint pop that much more. Rarely would we say that a roaster looks better with the top up, but we love this green Haartz cloth top. The 15-inch chrome wire wheels look right on the car, even though they are upgraded from the original 14-inch wheels.

The interior has beautiful black leather seats with contrasting white leather piping. The leather is nearly as new and is soft and supple. During the restoration, all new interior trim was used, so the black carpeting, dashboard and trunk liners are all nearly as-new. The MGB is a radio delete and the facia of the dash looks perfect and has been upgraded with a beautiful wood steering wheel.

The engine compartment displays much of the magic of this car. It is nearly perfect in every detail. We love the integration of the supercharger, the oil cooler with steel braided lines and the electronic ignition, for more dependable operations. As mentioned previously, 5R installed a new 1,800 cc motor, Moss Supercharger kit and a Ford Sierra 5-speed transmission making this the perfect touring MGB. It also benefitted from the installation of an alternator supplied by Moss.

Driving this MGB is fantastic. It loves to rev, which is more Alfa than any MGB I’ve driven. It is tight and everything works as it should. This is a wonderful MGB that will outperform any MGB that we’ve ever had.

Our collector client acquired the roadster on the 25th of April, 2017 with about 6,500 miles since the restoration. Today, the MGB has 8,300 miles and is still in fantastic condition.

The 158-point inspection is available on our website. This MGB flew through the inspection process and is ready to enjoy. This MGB comes complete with extra keys, a Driver’s Handbook, a sales brochure and service receipts. It also includes the spare wheel, original style jack and a display board for car shows.

For more details and information, please call, text or email us at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The MGB is available for viewing in our Phoenix showroom.

This is a beautiful 1973 MGB Roadster that has a wonderful provenance and was upgraded with many performance enhancements to make it a terrific driving car. This MGB has been owned and enjoyed by its present physician owner for the past 39 years and has never been in any accident or suffered from rust. In 2005, this MGB benefitted from a $30,000 professional restoration from the MG Shop in Tempe, AZ. But as gorgeous as this car looks, the enhancements made by the MG Shop are exactly what you would want on a roadster designed for touring. During the restoration, they fully rebuilt the 1,800 cc motor, added a Moss Supercharger kit, installed a Moss suspension kit and MiniLite wheels for improved handling and performance. It benefits from having an overdrive, which functions as a fifth gear. This is nice balance of options for both touring and local shows.

The livery appears to be black, but it is in fact a deep, dark Midnight blue metallic that is in beautiful condition today. There are a couple of small chips and imperfections from the past 15 years, but nothing significant and there are no dents. It has a deep luster and shine and is complimented by the stainless steel and chrome which is very nice except a few small dings in the drivers door stainless strip. The black vinyl canvas convertible top and optional tonneau cover make the paint pop that much more and are in as-new condition. The 15-inch MiniLite wheels and Pirelli P5000 radials look right on the car, even though they are upgraded from the original 14-inch wheels.

The interior has beautiful black leather seats. The leather is nearly as new and is soft and supple. During the restoration, all new interior trim was used, so the black carpeting, dashboard and trunk liners are all nearly as-new. The MGB has an Alpine CD stereo system with upgraded speakers, amplifier and a sub-woofer installed in the trunk. The facia of the dash looks perfect and has been upgraded with a nice fat black leather Moto-Lita steering wheel.

The engine compartment displays much of the magic of this car. It is in nearly show condition. We love the integration of the supercharger, the oil cooler and the electronic ignition, for more dependable operations. As mentioned previously, the MG Shop rebuilt the 1,800 cc motor and added the Moss Supercharger kit making this a terrific touring MGB. It also benefitted from the installation of an alternator supplied by Moss and the overdrive makes it great on the highways!

Driving this MGB is fantastic. It loves to rev, which is more characteristic of an Alfa than any MGB I’ve driven. It is tight and everything works as it should. This is a wonderful MGB that will outperform any MGB that we’ve ever had.

Our client acquired the roadster 1982 while he was completing his residency. In 1982 it had accumulated about 50,000 miles and was in nice overall condition. It was his primary driver for about three years, then used as a weekend car for a few more years until it was stored for the next 15 years. The restoration took about two years and it has seen little use since. It was recently serviced and inspected by the MG Shop and it is now ready for its next caretaker to enjoy. Today, the MGB has 81,000 miles and is still in beautiful condition. It has accumulated less than 1,000 miles since its restoration in 2005 and was recently fully serviced by the MG Shop.

The 158-point inspection is available on our website. This MGB flew through the inspection process and is ready to enjoy. This MGB comes complete with extra keys, a Driver’s Handbook and service receipts. We noticed that the spare wheel is a different model and it comes complete with its original jack and storage bag for the jack. During the restoration front and rear sway bars and new heavier springs were installed for better handling.

For more details and information, please call, text or email us at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The MGB is available for viewing in our Phoenix showroom.

SOLD!! Off to Puerto Rico!!!

This is as close as you can likely get to a brand new 1980 MGB roadster. With only 9,000 miles covered since new and essentially put away as a collector car since new, this is nearly perfect (as perfect as an MG can be). This is the last of the series for MG. This is almost completely original. Except for the correct radial tires which were replaced in 1989, this is an untouched original.

We love the livery in Carmine Red. This MGB has had no paint repair or body work. The paint looks as good as when it first left the factory. The interior is Beige vinyl and looks excellent. The only options is the addition of the overdrive, which make highway driving more comfortable for the motorcar and passengers! The car includes the top boot, tonneau cover and historical documentation.

This MGB was bought by our consignment client in March 18 of 1992 from Tom Flannery of Scottsdale. He was the original owner of the MGB. Tom had the radials replaced in 1989.

Our client is the long time owner of Max of Switzerland who was the area dealer for Rolls Royce, MG and all things sporty and fun. The mileage at that time was 8,606.

Max preserved his car collection and kept the very best. This MGB immediately made its way into his collection and was well maintained all through the years. This is not the car abandoned in the barn, neglected for decades. On the contrary, Max always had his mechanic service his cars and put enough miles to ensure that it is properly maintained. This car today runs and drives as an MGB should.

It’s time for this MGB to have a new loving caretaker. You will be hard pressed to find such an incredible example as this. Call Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

SELLING AT NO RESERVE!! ONLINE ONLY AUCTION at www.classicpromenade.com. With no expense spared on restoration, this well documented 1967 MGB roadster is sure to offer a great value to the next owner. Having been owned by a husband and wife for the first 46 years of its life, this car has been enjoyed by only a select few, including the current owner/collector. The total investment in the restoration of this roadster is over $180,000, performed by Doctor Jag Technologies in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The restoration is fully documented with extensive accounting detail. This specific MG is part of a collection that includes over 30 classic and vintage British sports cars.

This MGB was repainted in a beautiful and deep dark blue during its restoration. The black vinyl convertible top is new with soft and clear plastic windows. With a classic set of chrome wire wheels and an abundance of top quality brightwork, this MG has the typical British sportscar flair that you come to expect. You will also notice the like-new Hella branded lights mounted on the front bumper by the grill.

The stunning red leather interior with bright red carpet appears as new and makes this car feel more upscale. Frankly, the materials are the same as those used for the restoration of E-Types and are far better than MG ever installed. The seats are without flaw and as comfortable as you would expect from this period. The molded black dash houses all the knobs and pulls that these cars are known for, and all work as expected. While holding the three spoke MG steering wheel, you will notice the Smiths gauges that all function as expected.

Under the hood you will see a neat and clean compartment, with the expected inline four-cylinder engine, painted in a deeper red, with the period correct plate on the cover. The four-speed gearbox offers plenty of driver engagement during spirited driving.

An independent inspection was conducted, and the report is available for your review. It confirms the pristine condition of this roadster.

The MGB is available to view in New Mexico. For more information, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

SOLD to Connecticut. This is a very nice example of the 1967 MGB Roadster that is a wonderfully nice driving car that presents itself well. Being a California car, this MG is without rust and is a very honest and original car. Having one repaint in Racing Green it looks terrific with its painted wire wheels. This MG has been professionally serviced and is ready to enjoy!!

Our consignment client has sold off his collection which had included a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, a Bentley and others. This is his last remaining collector car. He has owned this MGB for the past seven years and bought it in Santa Cruz, CA. The reason this car spoke to him is its honesty. Having the original tools, jacks, hardtop, top frame and all the original storage bags is almost unheard of these days. When he purchased it, it had the sheepskin seat covers installed (included in the sale). He was impressed upon removing them to find the original black vinyl interior still in nice condition. Even the optional black hardtop is in nice original condition.

The Racing Green paint is in overall good condition with very nice shine and luster. There are several areas where there are little chips, orange peel and other minor defects that are noticeable upon close inspection. The largest area is on the drivers front fender where there is a 1.5 inch long and .25 inch wide area of poor paint prep. It is right in the crease and hard to see, but we included a close up in the photo gallery. The chrome is overall excellent. Only the drivers side bullet mirror shows minor pitting. The glass is very nice with a few wiper scratches on the drivers side of the windshield. Overall, we love the look of the Racing Green livery with wire wheels, true knock offs, the bullet mirror and the trunk rack!!! Classic British!!

The black vinyl upholstery on the seats, dashboard and door panels are all very nice and all but the seats are believed to be original. The black seats are contrasted with white piping and are in terrific condition for the age. There are no rips or issues on the seats themselves, just minor cracking on the white piping. The black dash is excellent with no cracking or issues, confirming a life led inside a garage. The steering wheel and other interior trim are also in excellent condition. The black carpet is new and the car comes with the collapsible top, a very original and vintage black vinyl convertible top and tonneau cover. The convertible top has one tear on the drivers side and the triple plastic windows are slightly discolored from age. The MGB comes with its original black removable hardtop that is in very nice condition.

The engine compartment is in excellent condition and is well detailed. This MGB is set up well for touring or local shows. The 1.8 liter four cylinder engine has excellent compression with each cylinder ranging from 170 to 180 psi from a recent compression test. The dual SU carbs work well and the four speed transmission is a pleasure to drive. The brakes have recently been serviced with new rotors, pads and brakes lines. Receipts for recent work are available for inspection. This car flew through our 158 point inspection. Everything works as it should. The report is available for your review.

The undercarriage is as nice as you would expect being a California car. There are none of the common rust issues. This is just a terrific solid and honest survivor. The car is complete with the original jack, top components, spare wire wheel, lead hammer and all the storage bags that you never see. It also comes with a car cover, the sheepskin seat covers and a large number of spare parts. Service receipts will accompany the car as well. The original AM radio has been fully restored just as it was in 1967!

For more information and details, call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The MGB is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This MGB was in California its entire life until coming to Arizona earlier this year. It has been partially restored as a sharp looking driver that can be enjoyed as-is or continued to be improved over time. It is completely rust and accident free, freshly repainted, new interior and ready to drive! We love MGB GT’s, especially with wire wheels and chrome bumpers!

From 1988 until 2013 the MGB was with one California owner. It was bought by the last owner completely with its original paint and interior (both red). The new owner transported the car from California to Arizona and proceeded to restore most of it including:

-Stripping the car down to metal and repainting it in black with red stripes
-New interior in black vinyl with red piping, new carpet, headliner, etc.
-New bumpers, front valance, and door seals
-Brakes and other mechanical systems rebuilt, new or serviced
-New radials, AM/FM CD with iPod input, etc.

We just had the MGB serviced by The MG Shop here in Phoenix. The engineer there rebuilt the speedometer resulting in the odometer reading changing from 78,000 miles to what you see in the photos now. The car likely has just over 78,000 miles from new.

The paint and interior are not concours quality but what you would expect as driver quality. The heater is not operational and all other instruments, horns, lights, etc. work well. The turn signals don’t cancel after a turn is completed. The steering wheel is the original and has cracks that need to be repaired or replaced, if desired with a wooden wheel. The transmission is perfect and feels terrific!! I love the close-throw transmission on this model.

This is a completely rust and accident free MGB GT that can be enjoyed as is or improved over time. It is ready for local car shows or touring. We have priced this to sell. For more information please call Harry at 602.245.7200 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The car is located in Paradise Valley, AZ not Temecula, CA.

This is a wonderful restored MGB that has traveled 56,700 miles since new. It had a complete restoration with all components rebuilt. This is a wonderful MGB that can be enjoyed on tours or taken to local and regional shows.

We just love Jaguars and MG’s in British Racing Green livery with tan leather interior. And this example has new replacement wire knock-off wheels which just sets it off perfectly!! This is the only year of the split chrome rear bumper- and we love the look!

It now has less than 15,000 miles on the engine since the complete rebuild. You can tell this MG has been loved and enjoyed- not treated as a trailer queen. Recently, the last owner replaced the black convertible top and installed a new clutch. We just had the MG inspected at The MG Shop here in Arizona. We had the rear brake cylinders and shoes replaced, all brake hoses replaced and all fluids topped off. Mechanically the car is excellent.

The MGB was “body off-restored” by its previous owner, Susan Dalton of Coon Rapids, MN. She owned the car for many years and sold it in March of 2010 to Lyall Shaer from Berona, WI. Lyall enjoyed the car and made a variety of improvements and ultimately lost the car in a business bankruptcy.

Mechanically, this MGB retains its original 1,798cc pushrod engine, four-speed all-synchro transmission and all the familiar running gear. These are wonderful to drive and quite dependable and simple. We just drove it all afternoon in 105F here in Arizona and the car performed just great (and we didn’t use the auxiliary electric cooling fan)!

The gauges, instruments, horn, turn signals all work as they should. It has a newer set of Michelin radials installed for performance and safety. While it retains its original British Motor Corporation stereo it also has a modern AM/FM CD player professionally installed under the dash. The speakers are in movable boxes behind the tan leather seats for easy removal for car shows, etc.

The tan leather interior is in excellent condition. The dash has no cracks, there are no splits or tears in the leather (yes, leather). The black convertible top is brand new. The BRG livery is very good to excellent. There is one small scratch by the front of the hood (bonnet) otherwise it is really an excellent repaint. The chrome and stainless are very good to excellent as well. Most of the chrome looks new. As mentioned, all the electronics work very well. There are some wires that need to be taped up and stowed. I would perform a major service on the car just to have a baseline for on going maintenance. This is a very nice performing MGB.

We’ll have more details in about one week. This one will sell quickly so don’t wait!! See the values from Hagerty’s value guide: http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vc=874911

This MGB will be located at our Arizona location in Paradise Valley, AZ (Zip 85253) not in California.

For more details email Harry Clark at sales@classicpromenade.com or call us at 602.245.7200.

The first owner bought this MGB in 1981 at Downey Motors, the local MG, Jaguar and Triumph dealership. They had just taken this MGB on trade for a Jaguar from a woman who bought it new one year earlier. It had accumulated about 8,785 miles.

Pat Cabello bought the car from Downey Motors on June 3, 1982 and kept it for 30 years! He loved it at first site! Complete with the motorcar is the sales invoice from Downey Motors! He paid $6,295.

Mr. Cabello drove it down from Los Angeles to Tecate, Mexico then to Tijuana and back through San Diego. That was the only trip he took. On average he added about 50 miles each year!! It has last been registered in 1992 and would clearly need new radials to make it safe to use on the road.

Everything works on the MGB except the clock. All other items work well, even the top is the original top plus it comes complete with the tonnau cover and top boot. The spare tire is perfect and all the tools are still in the factory covers.

We are very impressed with the condition of the paint, the plastic lenses for the turn indicators and the undercarriage. Look closely at the photos for details of the condition. Of course, we are happy to help coordinate a full independent inspection of this motorcar.

There are a few very small dents that all can be removed using a “paintless dent” process. There are a few small scratches that add to the patina of the car. The hood or bonnet of the MG had been re-sprayed in 1981, all other paint is original and in nice condition. The interior is in very nice original condition and needs nothing. The glass is all original and excellent.

It is extremely rare to find such low mileage MGB’s. It is even rarer to find a Southern California since new, “Blue Plate” motorcar with full documentation. This is a terrific opportunity for a real MGB enthusiast! The MG comes with the original California title, registrations and the original sales contracts!

Feel free to contact Harry Clark at 602.245.7200 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.
