This is a wonderful example of a 1962 Jaguar XKE Series 1 OTS Roadster that benefitted from three long term owners and is in gorgeous condition today. This Jaguar has been well cared for and loved its entire life. While never receiving a complete restoration, this has been restored as needed over the decades. With its matching numbers 3.8-liter inline engine, 4-speed transmission and vibrant color combination, this E-Type is perfect for regional shows and tours.

This Jaguar was built by the factory on July 13, 1962, and dispatched to the New York distributor on the 8th of August 1962. According to her owner, this Jaguar remained with its first owner for 23 years. She was acquired by her second owner, Dell Lichtenburg in Boseman, MT, by about 1985. Mr. Lichtenburg enjoyed her for six years. During that time, he replaced her black Haartz cloth convertible top. Our client, Marvin Brown from Billings, MT purchased her from Mr. Lichtenburg in 1992. Mr. Brown added about 50 miles over the first 10 years of ownership and then decided to store her on blocks to better preserve its condition. He was advised that placing her on blocks would be ideal to preserve the suspension, so he had her carefully professionally decommissioned for storage. For the next 20 years, this Jaguar remained on blocks in his air conditioned garage. In 2022, Mr. Brown had her fully professionally recommissioned and detailed, and today she runs and drives very well and looks fantastic. She is accompanied by a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, which confirms her to be an original Carmen Red and numbers matching example.

The exterior of this Jaguar is stunning. The Carmen Red livery has excellent shine and luster and is in beautiful condition today. The Carmen Red paint is its original and correct factory color. The chrome and stainless-steel trim are also in beautiful condition. Her black Haartz cloth convertible top is in excellent condition. The Black canvas convertible top boot accompanies her. The chrome plated knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in Riken Radial tires of appropriate size and look. The wheels and tires are in beautiful condition. Overall, the exterior is in excellent show condition.

The interior is complete in Black Leather and is complimented by Black wool carpeting. The leather is soft and supple and the interior shows very well overall. There is only slight wear showing on the driver’s side bolster and piping. The black dashboard also shows well. The telescopic steering features its teak steering wheel that is in beautiful condition. Overall, the interior is very nice and perfect for touring or regional shows.

This Jaguar comes with its original numbers matching 3.8 liter inline 6-cylinder engine with a trio of Weber carburetors. The 255hp is transmitted through its 4-speed manual transmission with independent rear suspension, creating top speeds of nearly 150 mph. The engine compartment is detailed and shows fairly well. The chassis and engine compartment have never been restored per se, but have been painted and cleaned over the years. This Jaguar performs very well and its engine is very quiet and powerful. Everything feels tight and correct.

She’s accompanied with a Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, jack and spare. We have this XKE priced right as the Hagerty No. 2 plus value is in excess of $300,000.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Kendi Brown at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com.

The 1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series II Roadsters were all the rage in the jet-set days of Hollywood and were capable of a top speed of 150 mph and a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds. This Jaguar is a stunning example of a multi-year, complete restoration. The restoration was undertaken by its long-term owner of 33 years. The show quality restoration was complete and thorough. It has recently been serviced and is ready for touring and shows.

This Jaguar began life on September 16, 1969. The original distributor was British Leyland, New York. The long-term owner of 33 years, Tim Lemna of Chatam, MA, acquired the E-Type in 1982 with 77,000 miles from new. It was driven sparingly in its original condition before undergoing a complete, multi-year restoration (See photo gallery for a few restoration photos). The Jaguar was then acquired on January 17, 2015, by Jonathan Milioti and Don Gleasner with a total of 94,250 miles since new. The Jaguar was then acquired on April 16, 2015, by Stephane Rambuad of Chicago, IL. The current owner, Tony Peterson, of Oro Valley, AZ acquired the Jaguar on June 21, 2018, from Northshore Sportscars in Lake Bluff, IL. Mr. Peterson has maintained and enjoyed the Jaguar over the past five-plus years.

The gorgeous livery is Pale Primerose Yellow (Paint Code JAG137) which was a three-year, bare metal repaint in 1995 to 1998 by Dan Henry in Decatur, IL. The paint is in beautiful show condition with gorgeous luster and shine. There are few paint imperfections with only one small rock chip on the underside of the nose (from driving). The black canvas convertible top appears as near new and fits well as does the black canvas boot. The chrome wire wheels are in excellent condition and are wrapped in very sharp looking Dunlap redline radials. The chrome and brightwork are in excellent condition. The livery shows very well overall and needs nothing to be toured and shown.

The interior was refinished in black leather by Bill Bassett Jaguar in Wyoming, RI in 2001. The leather is soft and supple and is in excellent condition overall. There is very slight creasing of the leather from gentle use. The gauges are in nice condition, and all appear to function as designed. The teak steering wheel is in beautiful condition and accompanied by a telescopic steering column. The radio has been updated with a Bluetooth version. The interior is overall in excellent condition.

The engine compartment is well detailed and painted and is home to the matching numbers 4.2 Liter inline 6-cylinder engine. The engine, transmission and drivetrain were rebuilt by All Cape Machine Shop, a Jaguar specialty shop in Hyannis, MA in 2001. The engine starts immediately and runs very well and strong and is paired with numbers matching 4-speed manual transmission which operates smoothly and quietly. The undercarriage is also very clean and well detailed and shows well overall.

This E-Type is accompanied with its Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, spare tire, and numerous restoration photos. This Jaguar needs nothing to be enjoyed, shown, and toured. It would be a wonderful addition to any collection.

We have this Jaguar priced to sell. The Hagerty Value for a No. 2 example such as this is $152,000. See the value here: 1969 Jaguar E-Type SII | Hagerty Valuation Tools

PRICED TO SELL!! This is a gorgeous concours quality 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series I Coupe that has enjoyed three known prior owners and would be equally fantastic on tours as it is on the show field. This is an all-numbers matching, black and black example from new with gorgeous chrome wire wheels. With an investment in mechanical restoration over the past three years of $47,000 and multiple awards from the JCNA and AACA, this Coupe is in showroom condition and ready to enjoy. The Coupe’s present owner professionally and thoughtfully installed a Clayton Classics air conditioning system in the original radio housing, and it works great!

This Coupe was built on May 7th, 1965 and was acquired by its original owner, Charles B Pendelton of Augusta, GA on June 25th, 1965. Mr. Pendelton was a professional photographer and understood beauty and colors. He custom ordered this Coupe as you see it today, in brilliant and gorgeous black livery with black leather interior. By October 3rd, 1997 the Coupe was acquired by Mark Lovello of Taylors, SC with 59,846 original miles. Mr. Lovello commenced a restoration and showed the Coupe successfully at many concours events. By March 2nd, 2007, after further restoration by marque specialists the Coupe was sold to Richard Sacks of Deerfield, IL. Mr. Sacks continued to improve it and successfully campaigned it in several JCNA and AACA concours events from 2011 through 2015, earning as high as 999.80 points (out of 1,000) and an AACA National First Place win in 2014.

We have a huge binder of invoices for restoration and maintenance, including photographs of work performed. This Jaguar has continued to be upgraded and serviced. The receipts include respected restoration shops including Classic Showcase in Oceanside, CA and The Last Detail in North Chicago, IL from 2007 through 2015. Additional work has been performed by one of the top Scottsdale, AZ companies from 2019 through 2022. In our photo gallery we have many photos of work performed by Classic Showcase.

The black livery today is simply stunning. It is polished brilliantly and contrasted with perfect chrome and stainless-steel trim. The panel gaps are all perfect and the panels are straight and true. The chrome wire wheels with proper knock offs are as-new in all respects. We love the classic look of the covered headlight covers.

The black leather interior is also as-new and the leather is soft and supple as one would expect. Everything within the interior looks as-new and in fantastic condition. All of the instrumentation works as they should. We noticed light scratching on the driver’s door tinting from normal use. As mentioned, the air conditioning is beautifully installed where the stereo was normally housed. (The parts removed to fit the air conditioning are included with the car if it was desired to return it to original.) The air flow is excellent, working brilliantly here in Phoenix.

The engine compartment and engine detailing are in show condition today. The venerable Jaguar 4.2 liter straight six cylinder engine produces 265 hp and has been comprehensively rebuilt with only break-in miles added since (several photos of the engine restoration are included in the photo gallery). This investment also included anything that needed tending to, such as the clutch, brakes, etc. Receipts totaling $47,000 over the last three years covering the air conditioning, engine rebuild and related improvements are included.

This Coupe is documented with its Jaguar Heritage Certificate and a comprehensive file with 15 years worth of receipts and 25 years worth of historical documentation. Also included is its tool roll, jack, manuals and original radio and other parts.

The NADA Value for this Coupe is $230,500.

For more details and information, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Jaguar is available for viewing at our Phoenix showroom. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

PRICE REDUCED $6,000! This is a stunning 1973 Jaguar XKE Coupe that has been in California and Arizona with a mere 40,600 miles travelled since new. Benefitting from updated cosmetics, this is a beautiful example in the striking Opalescent Maroon complimented with more modern Jaguar wheels. The automatic transmission and air conditioning make it a pleasure to drive.

This Jaguar was built in June of 1973 and was first registered in California in July of 1973. By January of 2013, the present owner, Phil Pheiler, acquired her from her previous Palm Springs, CA owner having accumulated 39,681 miles. Mr. Pheiler serviced the Jaguar and used it sparingly over the past decade. It now has accumulated 40,600 miles from new.

The beautiful Opalescent Maroon is in very nice condition and has incredible shine and luster. In the sunshine, the opalescence lights up the paint whereas in the shade or evening it appears a dark and rich maroon. There is a very small blemish in the paint about 1.5 inches in diameter that is shown in the photo gallery on the passenger side rear fender. Otherwise, the paint is beautiful for touring, regional shows or weekend use. The chrome and stainless is in excellent condition as one would expect from a 40,000-mile example. The traditional E-Type wheels have been upgraded with a more modern Jaguar chrome wheel, likely from the early 1990’s. The look is simply stunning as it truly subtly updates the look of the car.

The interior features Maroon Leather that we believe was replaced with a non-perforated leather. The leather is very soft and supple and compliments the exterior color perfectly. The dash and steering wheel are in excellent condition with no cracking or issues. The center console armrest does have some cracking. The instrumentation and air conditioning all work well. This Jaguar features the automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes and air conditioning.

The engine compartment holds the venerable 5.3-liter V12 aluminum engine with four Zenith-Stromberg carburetors. The engine compartment is clean and in nice condition. The chassis and undercarriage are free of rust and damage. The spare wheel is the original Jaguar rim and the spare tire is non-matching. This Jaguar comes complete with a service manual, owner’s manual and some servicing receipts.

The Hagerty No. 2 value is $85,900 and the No. 3 value is $56,900. The NADA value is $73,350. We have this priced fairly.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This E-Type is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This is a stunning freshly restored 1965 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series I Open-Two-Seater (OTS) roadster that is a numbers matching example, as verified by the Jaguar Heritage Trust COA. This E-Type is also within the first few hundred 4.2 E-Types built (Serial Number 10199).

This Jaguar was about 75% of the way through its restoration when the owner, John Burnham, was no longer able top complete it due to health issues. The E-Type was acquired by Cooper Classics (NYC, New York), in early 2019 who then commissioned Briarcliff Classics to complete the restoration which concluded earlier this year. According to Cooper Classics, this Jaguar was originally delivered to an owner in Wisconsin, eventually making its way to Illinois and then New York. It is believed that this is the first time that this car has been offered for sale publicly.

The restoration started with a nice and solid, rust-free original example. With matching numbers and one of the first 200 built, this originally Opalescent Golden Sand on Light Tan E-Type was ripe for restoration. Briarcliff Classics has done a wonderful job of injecting new life into what is now a fully sorted roadster ready to be driven an enjoyed. Be sure to note the manuals, receipts, and documentation photos at the end of the photo gallery. The restoration was completed in June 2019, where it has remained in sellers care ever since.

This E-Type has been beautifully finished in Signal Red complimented by a black Stayfast convertible top and boot cover, complete with chrome wire wheels, giving it a classic and spectacular look. The paint, chrome and finish work are all in excellent condition. This is ready to be shown at concours events.

The gorgeous black leather interior and matching black carpeting is in excellent condition, along with all other components in the interior. The dash, instruments and door panels are also either new or restored. Everything works as it should. This car also comes complete with a full tool kit.

The heart of this particular E-Type is what lies beneath the bonnet. The engine starts instantly and runs just the way Jaguar intended. It shifts through all gears with ease with a solid and tight suspension. Power is vast and smooth throughout the power band, with an impressive exhaust note coming from the correct porcelain headers, running its way through a stainless steel exhaust system. The carburetors are properly tuned and balanced, and the choke functions as it should.

This E-Type has gone through and passed Cooper Classic’s exhaustive certification program. If you are interested in acquiring an E-Type that is essentially as-new or better than new, this may be your motorcar.

For more information and details, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com This Jaguar is located at Cooper Classics in New York City, New York.

SOLD to Nevada!! This is increasingly rare. This stunning Jaguar was owned by Mr. Randall Smith from San Diego, CA from 1970 until 2019. The 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II 2+2 Coupe featured here is finished in stunning Pale Primrose (Glasurit #JAG-104) with a beautiful black leather interior. This magnificent motorcar has been beautifully preserved and re-freshened as needed and comes equipped with many rare and desirable options including a factory automatic transmission, power steering, factory air conditioning, chrome wire wheels and factory stereo. She looks incredible on our showroom floor and drives as well as she looks. Even the air conditioning works well!

The owner of 49 years invested about $45,000 over the last few years redoing the paint, interior and mechanical servicing, making the car an absolutely stunning example. The California “blue plate” license plates were personalized and meaningful to the owner, so they do not come with the car.

The Pale Primrose paint is beautiful and freshly wet sanded to a gorgeous shine. The chrome is excellent throughout. The chrome knock off wire wheels are stunning. There are no dents or scratches and only a few areas of touch up.

The interior is beautiful and correct in all respects. It is obvious that this E-Type was garaged and in Southern California. We love the interior and gauges on the XKEs, they are reminiscent of airplane cockpits. And the air conditioning blows very cold, even in traffic.

We are proud to offer this incredible 1970 Jaguar E-Type Series II 2+2 Coupe to the most particular collector, investor or enthusiast who demands the best. The venerable 4.2 liter dual overhead cam straight six performs brilliantly. And the new chrome exhaust tips help give the Jaguar its riveting rumble from behind. We have performed a complete major service on this XKE, including rebuilding the carburetors, cleaning the gas tank, new air filters, new vacuum hoses, etc.

Year: 1970
Make: Jaguar
Model: E-Type Series II 4.2L

Engine: 4.2L 246 HP DOHC Straight-6
Transmission: 3-Speed Automatic

We’ve priced this XKE to sell. The Hagerty No 2 value is for this model is $54,000, or 10% greater than our asking price. For more information and details, call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

SOLD to Rhode Island!! This is a rare opportunity to acquire a one-family since new Southern California 1972 Jaguar XKE OTS Roadster with 4-speed and 40,000 miles from new. This has to be one of the nicest all original examples extant, and is what we believe to be an investment grade opportunity. This is the definition of a survivor and would surely win Preservation Class awards. The paint, interior, glass, rubber and chrome are original and in wonderfully preserved condition with only normal patina for 48 years displayed. We love the combination of small bumpers, 4-speed, chrome wire wheels and the provenance of one family in Southern California.

This E-Type was purchased new by David Van Every, MD from the Jaguar dealership located in Montclair, California. Dr. Every used the car for a few years as his daily driver, making his two mile commute from his home in Claremont, CA. A few short years later, Dr. Every retired and he continued to enjoy the E-Type for a total of 30 years.

The Jaguar was then given to his son and our consignment client, Scott Van Every. Scott has been the caretaker of the Jaguar for the past 18 years, having accumulated 40,000 miles since new. The Jaguar has received faithful annual maintenance from Jaguar specialty mechanics.

The Sable Brown livery is beautiful and all original. There are several areas where there is normal lacquer cracking evident which we highlight in our video inspection. The overall presentation is stunning and, in our opinion, this would not be a car to repaint as it is 48 years old and still has a gorgeous luster and shine without any areas of paint rubbed through to primer. The paint is complimented with its all original chrome that is as-new. From the sculpted headlight surrounds, the “small” bumpers, the wire wheels to the door handles, the chrome on this Jaguar is in showroom condition. The convertible top was replaced 18 years ago, but is in absolutely perfect condition.

The interior is equally stunning. The tan leather interior is without blemishes and looks as if it were five years old. It is soft and supple, having lived its life in Southern California garages and regularly conditioned and kept clean. The dashboard is all original and without cracks or markings. The instruments are as-new and there is nearly no wear on any of the switches and levers.

Mechanically, the 312 HP V-12 is powerful and smooth. Our inspection shows that the smog pump has long been bypassed by removing the drive belt. The tachometer does work, having been removed, oiled and reassembled 15 years ago, however it sticks most of the time when you stop. Tapping the glass lightly releases it. It has been that way for the last 30 years. The only gauge that doesn’t work is the voltmeter. Further, years ago the temperature gauge was disconnected to use a better calibrated aftermarket gauge, though the original does work. Scott also had the ignition converted to electronic ignition to provide better performance and reliability. The E-Type presents strong oil pressure and runs at appropriate engine temperatures.

We have this Jaguar priced fairly. The Hagerty No. 2 value is $115,500 and the provenance associated with this example makes this an appropriate data comparison.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire an important E-Type OTS roadster. Call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The Jaguar is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.
