It’s true! This is a one adult owner, 7,000 mile, completely stock 2006 Honda S2000 roadster. Seriously, we were as surprised as you are too see a car like this in such condition. Oh, and it has clean CARFAX, is accident free, and has full service records. With only 65,000 produced for the US, and many having been crashed or heavily modified, this S2000 represents a very rare find to what is already a modern classic.

First shown as a concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, the production version was launched on April 15, 1999 to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. The S2000 is named for its engine displacement of two liters, carrying on in the tradition of the S500, S600, and S800 roadsters of the 1960s.

The Honda S2000 is also one of the most award sports cars of its era. It has been awarded Car & Driver’s Top 10 vehicles three times in a row, was one of Road & Tracks best all round sports cars, and praised by the BBC’s Top Gear, JD Power, and Consumer Reports. The engine alone was considered to be one of the best engines of all time back in 2004.

The Honda S2000 was notable for its exceptional specific power output of about 124 hp per liter, or about two horsepower per cubic inch, the highest of any mass production, naturally aspirated engined car. This face lifted model, known as the AP2, features Honda’s larger version of the F20C (with a designation of F22C1) motor.

This larger engine’s stroke was lengthened, increasing its displacement to 2,157 cc (2.2 L; 131.6 cu in). At the same time, the redline and fuel cutoff were reduced from 8,800 rpm and 9,000 rpm to 8,000 rpm and 8,200 rpm respectively, mandated by the longer travel of the pistons. Peak torque increased by 6% to 220 N⋅m (162 lb⋅ft) at 6,800 rpm while power output remained unchanged at 177 kW (237 hp), achieved at a lower 7,800 rpm.

Regarding this S2000, it was originally purchased at Fisher Honda of Minot, ND. The current and original owner is an older gentleman who kept it in a garage and drove it on the odd sunny day. It’s the perfect used car story!

It basically goes without saying that it is in outstanding mechanical condition. Think about it. 1. It’s a Honda. 2. It has 7,600 miles. 3. It has perfect service records. 4. It has never been modified, raced or driven hard. In short, this car works they way it was intended.

Moving to the interior and exterior, both are beautiful. The Rio Yellow Pearl paint is nearly flawless, and its very tastefully contrasted on black leather. The interior shows little signs of wear, and the convertible top is in great condition as well. Normally we pride ourselves on disclosing minor imperfections. In this case though, our inspection report came back totally clean.

Overall, this is a fantastic car and a truly rare find. If you know these vehicles, then you know most have been raced, driven hard, modified, crashed, or otherwise abused. The Honda S2000 is considered a modern classic and its value is expected to continue rising for quite some time. This S2000 is an excellent opportunity to get in on a contemporary Japanese collectible.

Fun Fact: When Honda produced the CB750F and the CB900F, both bikes were received by different markets. The Americans received the CB750F as the European market received the CB900F. This caused both markets to complain because, well, the grass is always greener on the other side. After a few years, Honda satisfied both markets and offered the 900F and the 750F for everyone to enjoy.

We are excited to offer this gorgeous 1982 Honda CB900F Super Sport. With this bike on display for a majority of its history, this CB900F has been stunningly beautiful for its entire lifetime!

The Honda CB900F is the brother to the CB750F. This isn’t your run of the mill 80’s motorcycle; this bike was sophisticated and has been noted for its pure power and incredible handling.

Since the time the third owner purchased this bike, about five thousand miles have been added. Over the course of its history with its three owners, this Honda has accumulated approximately 16,000 miles total.

Cosmetically, the sleek metallic black complimented by the orange and yellow pin-striping truly make this CB900F very special. With its partial lifespan spent indoors, the paint has been in incredible condition ever since. The chrome work on the exhaust and the paintwork on the body shows much depth and a wonderful shine. The rubber bits and plastic pieces have been well maintained as they show no sign of weathering or discoloration.

This CB900F comes with a custom tool-kit as well as a number of other miscellaneous parts. This bike will be perfect for any private collector, or simply someone who enjoys an 89 horsepower retro ride.
