This 1933 Chrysler CL Imperial Custom Phaeton with coachwork by LeBaron represents one of the rarest and most celebrated Classic Era offerings from Chrysler, with only 36 examples built. This Chrysler, chassis 7803648, retains its original matching-numbers engine and is accompanied by exceptional provenance, concours accolades, and a 72-page history file. Finished in Dark Grey over Red leather, the Chrysler combines striking presentation with well-preserved authenticity, making this Chrysler an ideal candidate for both top-level exhibition and discerning private enjoyment.

Delivered new in 1933 to Louis Marx of New York City, co-founder of the famed Louis Marx & Company toy empire, the Imperial carries a colorful ownership history that underscores its importance. After passing to Mr. Marx’s general manager George Dressler, the Chrysler was acquired in 1947 by Manassas, Virginia, resident Edgar Rohr, who famously bought the car when he discovered the Chrysler wore the same tire size as his work truck at a time when tires were hard to procure. Mr. Rohr repainted the Imperial bright red with yellow stripes to match his position as a volunteer fireman. Mr. Rohr used it to promote his business for decades before selling it to collector Rick Carroll in the late 1970s. By the late 1980s, the Imperial was owned by David Huckins of New Hampshire, who restored it and owned the Chrysler for more than 20 years. The Chrysler was acquired in 2014 and was shown extensively, achieving multiple best in class awards at Amelia Island, Greenwich, Hershey, St. Michaels, and Boca Raton concours events.

The exterior today is presented in a two-tone Grey with Deep Red accents that remains in excellent condition. The Chrysler has dual side-mounted spares with covers, bright chrome accents, dual mirrors, and an imposing grille. The chrome trim is in excellent condition throughout. The coachwork, designed and executed by LeBaron, features the long hood, split windscreen, and dual-windshield phaeton body that made these CL Imperials among the most visually striking American cars of the early 1930s.

Inside, the Chrysler features rich Red leather bench seating and matching door cards that are in excellent condition with supple surfaces. The Dark Grey wool carpet presents well and is in great condition. The engine turned metal dashboard and complete array of gauges are in excellent working order. The rear compartment benefits from the dual-windshield phaeton design and roll up division window offering both passengers and driver a balance of open-air motoring with refined comfort. The interior has been carefully preserved and remains a highlight of the Chrysler’s presentation.

Mechanically, this Imperial retains the original Chrysler “Silver Dome” L-head inline eight-cylinder engine with single Stromberg carburetor, producing 125 hp. Power is delivered through a 4-speed manual transmission, with 4-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. The suspension is comprised of semi-elliptical leaf springs and live axles, remains faithful to factory specification and contributes to its smooth driving experience. The engine and chassis have been fully detailed for concours exhibition. This Chrysler would be welcome at concours events worldwide!

Properly maintained over the years, the Chrysler is mechanically sound and remains equally suited for concours exhibition or light touring. As one of the rarest Classic Era Chryslers, this example sets itself apart with remarkable history and extensive documentation, making this 1933 Chrysler CL Imperial Custom Phaeton a true prize for the discerning collector.

The 1928 Chrysler Model 72 Sport Roadster represents one of the marque’s most advanced and capable sporting automobiles of the late 1920s, and this example stands out for its concours-level provenance, mechanical excellence, and period-correct touring enhancements. The Chrysler features a high-quality frame-off restoration by Prueitt Restorations, a 1997 AACA Senior Division First Place award, vivid presentation, and extensive recent mechanical work. With its rare high-compression “Red Head” engine, hydraulic brakes, and Mitchell two-speed overdrive, the Chrysler is exceptionally well suited for both concours display and long-distance vintage touring events, including Classic Le Mans and the Mille Miglia Storica, events for which the chassis is eligible.

The Chrysler has an impressive and well-documented history, beginning with its restoration in the 1990s by Prueitt Restorations of Pennsylvania. The current owner acquired the Chrysler in 2020 and has added approximately 1,200 miles. The owner has especially enjoyed local touring, and presented the Chrysler at select concours events, including a third-place finish at the 2024 Forest Grove Concours in Oregon. The Chrysler has been accepted for showing at the Arizona Concours on January 18, 2026, providing its next owner with an immediate opportunity to exhibit an outstanding and historically significant American sporting roadster.

The exterior of the Chrysler shows beautifully, maintaining excellent gloss, luster, and panel fit from its high-quality restoration. The vivid period-correct paint scheme remains attractive and well-preserved, complemented by chrome and brightwork that present to a high standard, including the bumpers, radiator shell, lamps, and accessories. As a deluxe-trim Sport Roadster, the Chrysler features wire wheels, dual sidemount spares, chrome-plated Depress Beam drum headlights, cowl lamps, wind wings, a trunk rack, and the distinctive Mercury Wing radiator mascot. A color-matched metal period trunk accompanies the car and is mounted at the rear for touring practicality. The tan canvas convertible top is in excellent condition, with a well-fitting frame, quality plating, and finely finished woodwork.

The interior is trimmed in tan leather that remains in very good condition with minimal wear since restoration. Brown carpeting presents cleanly and coordinates well with the overall color scheme. The dashboard features Chrysler’s elegantly minimalist 1928 instrument panel design, highlighted by Walter P. Chrysler’s signature plate and neatly arranged gauges and controls. Side curtains are stored in custom-fit bags within the rumble seat compartment, and the golf bag access door incorporates an engineered slide-out drawer for tools and touring necessities. The overall presentation conveys a cabin that is both historically correct and highly usable.

Mechanically, the Chrysler is exceptionally strong, benefitting from a complete engine teardown and rebuild performed under current ownership. This work included cylinder-head repair, new pistons, valves, valve seats, machining, and new babbitt bearings. A full-flow external oil filter system and a new water pump were installed, and the electrical system was converted from 6 to 12 volts while preserving period appearance through a driveline-driven alternator. The Chrysler now runs a stable 160 degrees with an auxiliary temperature gauge. Additional upgrades include high-intensity lighting, discreet rear lighting with full-corner turn signals, and six new Michelin tires. The desirable high-compression “Red Head” six-cylinder engine is correctly detailed, and the Mitchell two-speed overdrive enables comfortable high-speed touring, making the Chrysler a rewarding and capable driver.

For more information and details, please call or text Kendi Brown at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

This is a true three owner 1965 Chrysler 300L Convertible that is one of just 440 produced. This has been restored only as needed and today drives as great as it looks.

This 300L was acquired by its second owner in 1976 having acquired a mere 52,500 miles. The original red line tires were still on the car, but were badly worn. By 1984, the second owner did a complete dual stage repaint in its original Ivory and rechromed the bumpers and trim as needed. The original chrome Magnum wheels were also replaced, and the black vinyl interior from Legendary products and its black convertible top were replaced by 2011. The door panels, dashboard and carpet are original and in gorgeous condition today.

The present owner acquired the 300L in 2020 and commenced a complete paint correction and detailing, at a cost of $3,500. Today, this is a rare 300L Convertible that can be easily driven anywhere and shown at any regional concours or car show.

The original 413 CID V8 has 360 hp and has excellent power. The mechanical needs have all been addressed throughout its life and it is today in excellent condition. The suspension, steering and drivetrain feel as new, being tight and without any unusual noises.

For more information and details, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This rare 1965 300L Convertible is available for inspection at our showroom in Phoenix. We are pleased to coordinate inspections, and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

DISCOUNTED $10,000!! This 1959 Chrysler 300E convertible is one of 140 examples produced for the model year and remained under single ownership from 1987 through 2022, with a refurbishment being performed in the early 1990s. The car went on to win various awards and was displayed at the AACA Cavalcade of Fine Motorcars during the 2024 Philadelphia Automobile Show. Power is provided by a 413ci V8 linked with a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission, and the car is finished in its original Ivory White with a white soft top over beige leather. According to the 300 experts, there are only 27 known examples remaining in existence.

Equipment includes power steering, power-assisted brakes, 14″ steel wheels with chrome covers, power-adjustable front swivel bucket seats, power windows, an Electro Touch-Tuner AM radio, power antenna and a heater. This 300E is now offered with the owner’s manual, nearly 40 years of service records and history and awards.

The 300 Letter Series received annual styling updates beginning in 1956, and the fourth iteration was designated the 300E. The car was produced in pillarless coupe form as well as a convertible variant such as this example, which was refinished in Ivory White during the 1990s restoration. The Chrysler was repainted again in 2010. Exterior details include a replacement power-operated white Haartz convertible top, quad headlights, a driver-side mirror, a power-telescoping antenna, rear tail fins, and chrome bumpers, window surrounds, and trim.

The 14″ steel wheels feature chrome covers and are mounted with BFGoodrich whitewall tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted drums at each corner.

The correct reupholstered cockpit features power-adjustable swiveling front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in beige leather upholstery along with color-coordinated door panels. Interior amenities include power windows, an Electro Touch-Tuner AM radio, an electric clock, and a heater. All of the instruments work.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 90k miles, which is supported by the history file.

The 413ci Golden Lion V8 was factory equipped with dual four-barrel carburetors and was rated at 380 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque when new. An electric inline fuel pump has been added. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a three-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. This Chrysler drives beautifully and is very powerful.

We have this 300E priced well. The Hagerty Value in No. 2 Condition is $155,000. See the value here: 1959 Chrysler 300E Base | Hagerty Valuation Tools

This 1947 Chrysler Town and Country Convertible is part of the collection of a good friend and client of ours. He is known for meticulously maintaining and caring for his vehicles and he enjoys driving them regularly. This Town and Country has been his vehicle of choice for cruising around the community near his beach home in the Pacific Northwest. The gorgeous color combination, beautiful interior and easy drivability make this Classic Car Club of America Full Classic Town and Country a perfect choice to be enjoyed on CARavans, tours and in shows.

This Chrysler was acquired new in San Diego, CA and is believed to have spent most of its life in Hawaii. The current owner, Bradley Huson, of Ruston, WA acquired the Town and Country in 2009 from Tom Crook Classic Cars in Seattle, WA. Mr. Huson has enjoyed and maintained the Chrysler over the past 14 years and has restored portions of the car only as needed. Mr. Huson drives his Town and Country regularly and it has become well known in his beach community in the Pacific Northwest.

The livery of this Town and Country is a gorgeous Polo Green (Code #5) with beautiful luster and shine with just a few minor imperfections that are only noticeable upon close inspection. The Polo Green is a beautiful complement to the coach-built wood body framed in White Ash with insert panels of Honduran Mahogany. All the detailed woodwork shows well overall and is in very nice structural condition. The Mahogany inserts have not been restored and are showing some patina. Nearly all the hardware has been re-chromed and shows beautifully apart from the door handles and a few small pieces. The gorgeous dark green powered Haartz canvas convertible top shows very well inside and out and operates beautifully and fits snuggly. The matching dark green canvas top boot is in beautiful condition and snaps in place nicely. The chrome wheel covers show very well, and the wheels are wrapped in period correct Firestone Deluxe Champion wide white wall tires.

The interior upholstery is complete in beautiful green leather with tan pleated Bedford cord inserts. The upholstery and matching door panels show beautifully overall. The dash is finished in Polo Green which is a nice complement to the beautiful chrome gauge cluster, radio, and controls. The gauges all appear to be functioning properly. The dash shows some minor imperfections in high wear areas only and shows well overall. The carpet is a beautiful dark green wool with dark green leather binding, all matching the dark green canvas top and top boot. The carpet shows well overall and is in very nice condition due to the continued use of tan, woven floor mats. The three-spoke Polo Green steering wheel and chrome horn assembly, which is emblazoned with “Fluid Drive” are in nice condition and feels good in your hands. The trunk area is beautifully detailed and comes complete with a matching wide whitewall spare. The interior is in very nice overall condition and shows beautifully.

The Town and Country engine compartment has been well detailed and painted and is home to the 323 ci L-Head Straight-Eight Cylinder engine which produces 135 hp and runs strong and quietly. The Straight-Eight is mated to the Presto-Matic 4-Speed Fluid Drive Semi-Automatic transmission which shifts smoothly and operates quietly. The chassis has been cleaned and painted and looks terrific.

This Chrysler Town and Country is as much a joy to drive as it is to look at. It is ready to be enjoyed on local tours and shows and would be a great addition to any enthusiast’s collection.

We have this Town and Country priced very well. The Hagerty No. 2 value is $90,100 and the No. 3 value is $60,500, with values increasing about 10% over the last year. This is definitely a No. 2-. This Chrysler comes complete with its shop manual.

This 1937 Chrysler Airflow Series C-17 Eight Coupe is an original example that can be enjoyed as-is as a survivor or as an excellent base for restoration. In excellent mechanical condition and rust-free, this survivor can be driven to any car show or CCCA CARavan. These incredibly rare art deco masterpieces are gorgeous to behold and are an important part of American automotive history. When the Airflow debuted, it had set 72 land speed records as well as numerous engineering firsts.

Chrysler had always been an engineering led automotive company. Chrysler engineers Owen Skelton, Carl Breer and Fred Zeder, known as the Three Musketeers, relied on science to develop one of the most advanced cars of its time, the Airflow. They even contracted with Orville Wright to develop aerodynamic theories on automotive design. But the breakthroughs didn’t stop with its unique looks; the unibody construction, nearly 50-50 weight distribution, advanced suspension design and mechanical overdrive were far ahead of its time. The 1937 Chrysler Airflow is the last year of the Airflows and the most refined. This example, being the C-17 Eight Coupe, is a full classic with the Classic Car Club of America and as such is accepted at leading concours and touring events across America. There were only 230 C-17 Eight Coupes produced, a mere 5% of the C-17 Eight production. Of the 230 examples, it is likely that no more than 10% survive today. The coupes truly represent one of the ultimate streamlined art deco masterpieces and are typically acquired by major collections.

HISTORY OF THIS AIRFLOW COUPE- The history of this Airflow Coupe is well documented for the past 20 years. The Airflow was owned by Samual Cubete of Huntington Beach, CA and is presumed to be a California car. By August 30, 2004, the Coupe was acquired by Mark J. Smith of Lynchburg, PA for $45,000. Mr. Smith was one of the truly great collectors in the hobby, having amassed a very large and important collection before his passing. The last owner of this C-17 Coupe was Brent DuCoing of Anaheim Hills, CA, who inherited the Airflow in 2022 from the Mark Smith estate. Mr. DuCoing has a fantastic collection of important and interesting motorcars.

The patinaed livery of this sexy and curvaceous Coupe is Skytint Blue (Paint Code 229) with very nice chrome and stainless-steel art deco trim. The paint is assumed to be an older repaint in its original color that at one point was likely covered with a tarp causing some of its paint to peel on its roof. Sky Tint Blue is a fantastic color on the Airflow Coupes. This is a rust-free example, and it would be a straightforward repaint or the roof section could be repainted leaving a wonderful patina as a survivor. The wide white wall tires look right on this Coupe, giving it a very elegant look. The chrome and stainless steel are in very good condition. The running boards are original and in good condition. We have included many close-up photos in the photo gallery of the paint imperfections and running boards, so rest assured this is a very nice example.

The interior of all the Airflows are simply stunning. Being art deco inspired, there are gorgeous design cues throughout that make these cars special. And being a senior C-17 Eight, the quality of the interior is superb. The tan wool Bedford cord upholstery is original and has many areas of moth holes, as is visible from the photo gallery. The seating is very comfortable with excellent support for the passengers. The brown carpeting is in good condition and shows some wear. The faux wood dashboard is all original and marvelous in its art deco inspiration. The instruments all work well, including the tachometer which is discreetly integrated into the speedometer. Overall, the interior is very similar to the exterior- showing some patina but absolutely stunning in its design and originality.

The engine compartment is well detailed. The engine compartment is just beautiful, including the wiring, inner fender panels and accessories. The 323.5 cid straight eight engine produces about 138 hp. The engine is whisper quiet and has very good performance with no smoking or other issues. We fully serviced the Airflow and went through the brakes with new master and wheel cylinders. Watch the drone and driving videos to see how well she performs. The three-speed transmission with mechanical overdrive also operate perfectly at 35 mph, dropping the engine speed and making for an even smoother, quieter ride. Airflows handle very well with their 50-50 weight distribution and advanced suspension, absorbing even the largest bumps with ease and confidence. The ride and handling are simply outstanding when compared to any other classic of the era.

This Airflow Coupe comes complete with an original Owner’s Handbook, original Sales Brochure, spare wheel, supporting documentation, and some spare parts.

It is rare to find a C-17 Eight Coupe and nearly impossible to find one in this remarkable condition. For more information and details, please call or text or Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This Coupe is available for viewing and inspection at our Phoenix showroom. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

HISTORY OF THIS AIRFLOW COUPE- The history of this Airflow Coupe is well documented for the past 60 years. From 1962, she was owned by John O. McLean of Richmond, VA and then Jack W Ritter of Youngstown, OH from 1978 through the 1994. The next owner was Peter Matuszek of St. Charles, IL through 2014. She was then owned by Deb Powless until 2018. The last owner of this C-17 Coupe was Tom Griffith from Verona, WI who acquired her for $118,000 in 2018. He was amassing a collection of important and interesting motorcars.

The livery of this sexy and curvaceous Coupe is Black with beautiful chrome and stainless-steel art deco trim. The paint is assumed to be an older excellent repaint with fantastic shine and luster. It has been very well polished and is mirror smooth. There are the normal small imperfections near the leaded seam areas, which are only visible upon close inspection. There are also several very small touched up chips in the normal high use areas, such as near the door jams, etc. Overall, the paint quality is excellent. The wide white wall tires look right on this Coupe, giving it a very elegant look. The chrome and stainless steel are in very good to excellent condition overall. The running boards are original and display in good condition. We have included many close-up photos in the photo gallery of the paint imperfections and running boards, so rest assured this is a wonderful example.

The engine compartment is well detailed. We decided to not repaint the engine and exhaust manifold to retain and showcase what a gorgeous original car this is. The engine compartment is just beautiful, including the wiring, inner fender panels and accessories. The 323.5 cid straight eight engine produces about 138 hp. The engine is whisper quiet and has very good performance with no smoking or other issues.

PRICED RESUCED FOR QUICK SALE!! This beautifully restored 1949 Chrysler Town and Country Convertible is in gorgeous condition and is a multiple national show winner! She won an AACA National First in 1988 and an AACA Grand National First in 1990. She was also an award winner at the first Amelia Island Concours in 1996. This meticulously restored and rare Town and Country woodie convertible still shows amazing well years later in her rare and desirable color combination.

This is one of 993 Town and Country convertibles produced in 1949 and is of the last 30 made in the production run. The survival rate is low, and it is believed that only about 15% survived. This Town and Country received a concours quality, no-expense spared restoration in the mid-1980s by owner Forrest R. Wilkerson of Fort Mill, SC and was competing in concours competitions by the Summer of 1988. She won a First Junior award at the AACA national meet in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1988. She was sold in late-1988 to James K. Adams of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The Chrysler was exhibited at Hershey three more times taking home a First Grand National award and a First Preservation award in 1990 and a Senior Grand National award in 1992. She was also an award winner at the first Amelia Island Concours in 1996. By 2011, she was sold overseas to a collector in The Netherlands where she was on display in an automotive museum in the Netherlands. Our clients, conscientious collectors in Sullivans Island, SC purchased her several years ago from the Netherlands collector. Our clients have maintained her gorgeous restoration condition to this day.

The exterior of this Chrysler is stunning. The Town and Country livery is the very rare Chrysler Pepper Red. This example is one of the only examples produced in Pepper Red, which makes her very desirable to collectors. Her paint and blonde ash framing on the exterior panels glisten and are in beautiful condition. All her finishes, including the chrome, are still in show quality condition. The tan canvas power convertible top is in excellent condition and shows very well. The power convertible top functions very well and her brown vinyl top boot is in excellent condition. Overall, the exterior is in excellent show condition.

The interior is complete in Cognac Brown Leather and is complimented by beautiful brown carpeting. The leather is soft and supple, and the stunning interior shows near-new overall. The Cognac Brown leather dashboard appears as new. The Town and Country was the first production car to feature a “padded dash”. The steering wheel and gauges are all stunningly designed and in beautiful condition. The speedometer is non-functioning as is the clock, but overall, the interior is in near-new condition. We are hoping to repair the speedometer.

This Chrysler comes with its 323 cu in Spitfire inline 8-cylinder engine. The 135hp at 3,200 rpms are transferred through its 3-speed Prestomatic fluid drive transmission which has two forward gears and an electric overdrive unit that can be applied in either gear for a total of four forward speeds. The engine compartment is well detailed and shows beautifully. The chassis is well detailed and shows very well. This Chrysler performs very well and her engine and transmission are quiet and powerful. Everything feels tight and correct.

We have this Town and Country priced right as the Hagerty No. 2 plus value is in excess of $82,000.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Chrysler is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

Complete photos, videos, and inspection report available at www.ClassicPromenade.com. It’s free to bid and only takes minutes to register.

Classic Promenade is pleased to offer on behalf of its Southern California owner this stunning 1953 Chrysler Special Ghia. Having been owned by our friend and client for the past 41 years, this has been a significant feature of his collection of important motorcars. This is one of about 16 Chrysler Special coupes that were hand-built in Torino, Italy by Carrozzeria Ghia (production of these hand-built cars are not well documented). These Chrysler Specials were show stoppers at the time of their introduction and were reserved for celebrities the world over.

This Chrysler Ghia has never been restored and has been incredibly well preserved by its owner, having amassed a total of 58,000 km (33,000 miles). This Ghia was sold new in 1953 to the famous jockey Johnny Longden by France Motors in Paris. Records indicate that by September 1953 Mr. Longden booked passage of the Ghia on board the SS Liberte. He then registered it to his residential address in Arcadia, California.

Later in the 1950’s, it was owned by a woman in the affluent neighborhood of San Marino, California. Under her ownership, the Ghia had received supplemental bumpers to protect the hand formed front and rear end features of the car for her suburban use. Holes are still present where these additional bumpers had been mounted.

By 1960, the Ghia was acquired by a well-known Chrysler collector and authority, Robert Frumkin of Los Angeles. Mr. Frumkin received a handwritten letter from Mr. Longden confirming the Ghia’s provenance as well as the original color combination of gray over maroon. Mr. Frumkin retained ownership of the Ghia for two decades.

In 1979, this Ghia was acquired by our friend and client. He has a wonderful collection of largely preserved cars that he has enjoyed for decades. This Ghia has rarely ever been seen in public.

The livery of this Ghia is in an elegant Dove Gray. The paint has a patina of originality, but it was presumably repainted long ago. The chrome and stainless are all original and show well for 67 years of age. We love the smooth and sexy lines that are timeless. It is a truly impressive car no matter what angle its viewed from.

The interior is also very original, with the maroon leather seats and carpet having been redone at some point. The rest of the interior appears to be in overall nice condition. The interior is absolutely stunning in its design and execution.

The heart of the engine compartment is the venerable Chrysler 331 CID hemi V8. The engine fires up willingly and sounds terrific through the dual exhausts. The motor has a 1954 4-barrel carburetor, though the original carburetor is also included. The Ghia has the Fluid-Matic automatic transmission that is smooth and confident. This car also has a new power brake booster, but it has not been installed. Sitting behind the wheel is quite a thrill. It is obvious that this car was a design statement.

This Ghia is a largely original car that has been maintained in its present form for the past four decades. Whether kept as a preservation example or used as the basis of an easy restoration, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to acquire an iconic motorcar.

For more details and information, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The Ghia remains with its owner in the Los Angeles area.

This is a nice older restoration of a completely rust-free example that has been in San Diego with the now deceased owner since about 1991, and was formerly part of the Don Sears colleciton in Nebraska. Whether you are into showing or just driving classics, this is one to consider.

We are selling this on behalf of an estate for the former owner for the past 26 years. The car, with little effort, would make a very nice tour car that would be welcome in most all shows and concours events. As a full classic with the CCCA, this can be used in CARAvans and other major events.

Cosmetically, the Town & Country looks very sharp! The paint is nice for touring and local shows, as are the interior and wood. The chrome is good to very good. The chrome is overall nice with the pot metal pieces having pitting that is obvious upon close examination. The glass is very nice. The canvas top is correct and the top mechanism works really well, too!

The engine is very strong with good performance and oil pressure. The electronics work well, including the instruments, heater, radio and clock. It has all new brakes, including the shoes, master, wheel cylinders, etc. A full tune up including ignition wires, plugs, points, etc. was performed and a full service, as well. She runs beautifully!

The chassis is completely free of rust and has not been restored or detailed. There are no patches or issues with this T&C. It shows that this is a rock solid, honest woodie. The suspension would benefit from new bushings. First gear needs to be adjusted, but otherwise the drivetrain is very good. It has the Fluidrive transmission. The exhaust has some small holes that need to be repaired or replaced. The tires hold pressure fine, but are very old and need to be replaced. The radiator has a small leak and would benefit from a full cleaning.

It is missing the two spotlight lenses, the tube for the ignition wires, a screw for one taillight, the starter is now a button (but the starterator components are in the carb). All else is original and in good shape.

The T&C is located in San Marcos, CA, is available for inspection and will require about 21 days to gain final approval from the court/heirs for the sale to finalized. Please call me at 602-245-7200 or email me at sales@classicpromenade.com with questions. This is a terrific opportunity to add a wonderful classic to your collection for a great value.
