The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS is an early Rally Sport example combining factory styling distinction with upgraded drivability. Finished in original Emerald Turquoise Poly Metallic (code K-2) with a black vinyl top and powered by a 327 V8 engine paired to an upgraded Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. This Camaro presents as a well-maintained driver with desirable RS features. The Camaro is ideally suited for weekend cruising, local and regional shows, and confident road use.

Built in December 1967 at the Van Nuys, California plant as a custom interior sport coupe, the Camaro carries Fisher Body number 12383 and reflects long-term western-state residence with no evident rust concerns. The current owner acquired the Camaro in 2017 for reliable enjoyment on Arizona roads. The odometer shows 11,201 believed to be since engine was installed, and the Camaro offers the expected character of a first-generation RS with mechanical enhancements.

The exterior is finished in Emerald Turquoise Poly Metallic with rich luster and a few small rock chips in expected areas, featuring dual black pinstriping and a black nose stripe. The sport coupe look is complemented by a black vinyl roof in excellent condition. The Rally Sport front end features the signature hidden electric headlamps and RS grille, while “Camaro 327” badging remains correct and well preserved. Chrome bumpers, sport mirrors, horizontal taillamps with bright chrome bezels, and signature below-bumper backup lights present in great condition. Front and rear spoilers add period sport character, and newer 5-spoke mag-style wheels with serviceable Big-O tires complete the presentation.

The interior retains the original Emerald Turquoise interior color with custom bucket seats in front and a molded rear bench, all in very good condition. Coordinated turquoise door panels and center console maintain visual continuity, while the turquoise carpet shows some expected wear at the driver’s footwell. A turquoise and silver three-spoke steering wheel frames the 120-mph speedometer and fuel gauge. Factory heater and fan ventilation with rear defrost operate well, and an upgraded AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo with Bluetooth and USB enhances usability without altering the classic appearance.

Mechanical power comes from the replacement crate 327 V8 engine fitted with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake manifold, paired to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission and dual exhaust. The Camaro has upgraded four-wheel power disc brakes and power steering, providing confident control and modernized stopping capability. The current owner completed a pro-built rear end with new axles, bearings and seals with new 3.43 gears and an Eaton posi unit along with custom-made traction bars. These performance-oriented, reliability focused upgrades improve traction and durability for confident road handling. A recent safety inspection was completed and the Camaro comes with a clean Arizona title.

This is a sporty 1997 Chevrolet Camaro SS with some of the most collectible features one can find on these fourth generation f-bodies. The most sought after package for this generation was the performance and style additions made by SLP Engineering and this Camaro had all of the boxes checked. The result is a red over dark gray leather sports car with plenty of power and comfort. With the style enhancements and additional power, this coupe is worthy of the 30th anniversary of the Camaro namesake.

The sporty appearance of this Camaro is aided by it’s Bright Red factory paint color and dark tinted removable T-Tops. The T-Tops are free from leaks and defects and mount firmly in place. They can be stored beneath the large glass hatch in specific holders. The spoiler integrates well into the lines of the body and adds to the overall look of performance. The Bright Red paint looks great with good depth and luster, but does have minor surface scratches throughout that are only noticeable in direct light. The lightweight hood features a functioning air induction cowl. One should also note that the car has a small dimple on the passenger side towards the rear, as shown in the photo gallery. Overall, the exterior shows very well and proves the high level of care from previous owners.

The dark grey interior shows exceptionally well with bolstered and perforated leather seating surfaces in the front and rear. The leather appears well cared for, but creases are prevalent from general use. Enthusiasts will note the appearance of the 30th Anniversary logo stitched into the top center of the back seat, original Camaro SS branded floor mats, and the leather wrapped Hurst shifter with “H” logo. These are all part of the SLP Package.

Mechanically, this Camaro drives precisely like it did when it was coming out of the factory back in 1996. Over 300 horsepower from the original LT1 motor that was straight out of the Corvette propels the car to 60 in five seconds. The SLP stainless exhaust and Hurst short throw shifter are sure to be welcome additions for every enthusiast and muscle car purist. The SLP tuned sport suspension features Bilstein shocks and will make any spirited drive more fun and confidence inspiring.

This Camaro can be purchased with confidence with the clean CARFAX report added to the listing, which shows no accidents or damage to this original sports car. SLP documentation has been added to the listing.

For more information, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Camaro can be inspected at the owners home in Iowa.

SALE Pending to Indiana!! This is a 1971 Chevy Camaro Z28 with a thorough ground-up restoration meant to drive and enjoy, or take to your local car events!

This is an eye catching 1970 Camaro RS Z28 that was built new in California and has never left. Sporting the original California “Blue Plates”, this is an authentic sympathetically restored Z28 with the highly desirable RS trim.

This was built new in California and painted in Cranberry Red with black rally stripes, black interior and black rally wheels. The paint is an older very high quality respray in the original color and was beautifully color sanded. Over the years there have been several small chips from driving that are detailed in the 97 photos in the gallery for this Z28. For concours they would need touching up or a repaint but for regular use it looks great as it is!

The black interior is in excellent condition and is a mix of new and original. The interior overall looks fantastic. The rally wheels have been repainted as well as the undercarriage and engine compartment. This car would be very comfortable in local and regional car shows and is ready for the road!!

The chrome and trim are excellent. We love the split front bumper that makes this car very rare. It was only available on the Z28’s with the RS trim option. It gives the car a lighter, sportier look that was no doubt what the original designers intended.

The engine has been completely machined and rebuilt. It is a matching numbers engine for the car. It is the 350 cu in engine with what is likely about 400 HP. There are less than 500 miles on the rebuild of the engine. Completing the drive is the original 12 bolt rear end with posi-traction and a Munice four-speed manual transmission. We love the original rear sway bar that was an option.

The Z28 was the only Camaro that had no option available for air conditioning. The 6,000 RPM redline was just too much for the compressors of that era.

Look closely at the photos. You’ll see the undercarriage looks great and the car is nearly rust free. The passenger door has a small amount of bubbling that I have photographed for viewing in the gallery.

The odometer shows about 18,000 miles and we assume the total mileage to be 118,000. Everything has been rebuilt and restored so the car feels like new! The Z28 comes with complete file history for the past 16 years as well as the original brake rotors and smog pump.

The Hagerty Value Guide shows the value at up to $62k!! Look at their findings: http://www.hagerty.com/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vc=157676

This is a rare opportunity to add a rare and true muscle car to your collection. This car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. For more information please call Harry at 602-245-7200 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

Included with the car is an extensive file showing most of the service and repair work completed since the car was new, the original owners manual and California registration cards. This is a well documented survivor.

This Camaro has the original 305 V8 with automatic transmission (four speed manuals were not available in California in 1977). It has easily passed smog inspection and is ready for its new owners.

1977 was the first year that Camaro outsold Mustangs. By looking at this car you can easily see why!

This is a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Convertible with the “Code 4K” 396/375 HP numbers matching engine and four speed manual transmission. Authorities state that 12 convertibles with this engine were produced and only about half have the desirable factory four-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. Of the handful built, most were destined to a fate of drag racing and met with an early demise. It is estimated that perhaps only two or three of these high performance convertibles remain extant.

This example is painted White with Blue interior and has been enhance with Indy 500 decals with the Blue Rally stripe. Although this was not an official pace car, it was ordered to replicate a Indy 500 pace car, presumably by a Chevrolet dealer.

This car has an original 97,000 miles and has been cared for throughout the years. There is little to no rust. The car was enhanced with a 10 Bolt 4:11 posi track and sit confidently on 15 inch Rally Wheels. Power steering and brakes make it as easy to drive as a new car- except with massive power and great looks! The original numbers matching engine was professionally rebuilt by a qualified engineer.

The car runs and drives like a dream. It starts easy and every time. It has been regularly driven about 1,000 miles a year without fail. The original protecto plate and owner’s manual are included with the car.

The month built was 05C (third week of May 1967) The VIN # is 124677N221419. The interior code is R (blue custom) and the interior style code is 12667 (buckets/console) assembly plant is NOR and fisher body # is 120965. Interior trim 732 Z and body color is C-1 with option group2 LG and group 3 SL , group 4K and group 5Y.

With perhaps only a couple similar cars remaining, this is an incredibly rare opportunity to own a legend. This will undoubtedly be a wonderful investment and an important addition to any great collection!

This Pace Car will be sold at Barrett-Jackson in Costa Mesa, CA on June 26th in the evening regardless of the bid amount. It is lot 389.3. Be the one who can claim this as theirs!! www.barrett-jackson.com
