The 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz represents one of the most exclusive open-top American luxury cars of its era, combining a refined evolution of Cadillac’s iconic tailfin design with advanced power features and the 390-cid, 345-horsepower V8. With only 1,280 examples produced, the Eldorado Biarritz is a highly sought-after model for collectors.

Originally restored in the early 1990s, this Eldorado Biarritz was subsequently displayed at the Blackhawk Museum in California before being purchased by the current owner in 2005. This Cadillac was purchased as a birthday gift and “Nelli Bell” has been well loved through the years by the whole family. Over the past two decades, the Cadillac has been carefully serviced, maintained and driven regularly. The Eldorado Biarritz has 60,000 miles, is in strong mechanical condition and is a great fit for enthusiasts who enjoy driving these wonderful Cadillacs.

The exterior of the Eldorado Biarritz is finished in Sienna Rose Metallic that has a smooth and bright presentation. The paint exhibits remarkably consistent lacquer checking that gives it a distinctive, almost deliberate character while still presenting well. The prominent chrome bumpers, bullet-style front and rear grille accents, and Cadillac badging are in overall excellent condition. The iconic 1960 tailfins retain crisp definition with integrated taillights that showcase the design shift from the 1959 styling. Ivory white convertible top and rear fender skirts complement the sleek profile, and the 15-inch wheels with Cadillac-crest covers are fitted with newer Firestone Deluxe Champion wide whitewall tires. This Eldorado is a beautiful example that is perfect for frequent driving and to present at local shows.

The interior features white leather seating for six, with a six-way power-adjustable front bench and a rear bench in similarly preserved condition. The front seating surfaces show creasing and seam separation near the driver’s side, with cracking on the seatback pockets. The door panel leather remains in good condition. Dark Rose carpeting is in good overall condition with some wear consistent with age and normal use. The two-spoke steering wheel is finished in white that does have some cracks. The factory instrumentation is in good working condition with power windows, power vents, power antenna, factory air conditioning and aftermarket radio system. This is an Eldorado that is in good overall condition with some cosmetic imperfections.

The Eldorado starts right up, has a smooth yet powerful feel, provides a strong braking response and is overall a wonderful driver! Powered by its original 390-cubic-inch V8 engine (stamped with 60E041206), the Eldorado Biarritz produces a factory-rated 345 horsepower paired with a 4-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. With 430 lb-ft of torque, a 0–60 time of 10.8 seconds, and a 124-mph top speed, the model offered notable performance for its class. This Cadillac has a Holly Sniper electronic fuel injection with a keychain battery cut off. This Cadillac has been regularly serviced under current ownership and has a clean safety inspection. This Eldorado is ready to be enjoyed!

The Cadillac comes with a custom pink car cover, service record documentation and build records.

“Creampuff” is a wonderful 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible that has accumulated a mere 33,000 miles from new. Having been cared for by a few long-term owners and meticulously maintained. This is a terrific example that can be enjoyed immediately needing nothing.

A long-time owner of a Cadillac dealership in Elgin, Illinois bought two 1976 Cadillac Eldorado’s for his daughters, each one in a different color. This Eldorado was selected by his daughter Carolyn ‘Cookie” Smith as she lived in Arizona and loved the Calumet Cream color. Cookie immediately named her “Creampuff”. Cookie enjoyed Creampuff for many years eventually selling her to Carol and Tom Jorishie, who have been members of the Cadillac LaSalle Club.

Creampuff’s livery has been beautifully refinished in its original Calumet Cream (Paint Code 50). The repaint was due to the normal failure of the plastic inserts near the bumpers and fenders. He was concerned about the paint not matching well when he replaced the plastic. The paint is excellent and was very well done. Creampuff also has her correct black wheel covers and has very good to excellent chrome and stainless-steel trim. The tan convertible top is in very good condition showing just a slight bit of wear in a couple of areas. Creampuff comes complete with her hard cased parade top boot as well as the tan soft boot cover. Overall, the exterior is in very nice to excellent condition.

Her interior features the Light Antique Tan Buckskin leather (Interior Code 642) throughout. The leather is in very good to excellent condition and is very soft and supple. The carpeting is a complimentary tan color and is all original and in very nice condition with its original matching mats. The carpeting is a very deep pile that is elegant and luxurious. Even the trunk had been ordered with a trunk mat.

The 500 CID V8 is silent and powerful, as you would expect for a well maintained 33,000-mile example. All the accessories and gauges work well, and she runs and drives beautifully. She benefits from an extra cooling fan which allows her to be used even in the Arizona summers for short drives.

The Hagerty Value Guide shows that the No.2 Value for a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible is $63,500, making this a terrific value.

For more information please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. Creampuff is available for viewing in Phoenix.

This is likely the best 1953 Cadillac Eldorado in existence having been restored by Pebble Beach award winning restorers over the past five years. The quality of the restoration is only seen on cars with restorations costing $300,000 to $500,000. Every touch of a switch, door handle and driving experience reinforces the perfection and attention to detail that we rarely see.

This Eldorado was originally purchased in San Francisco in 1953 and was a California Car most of its life. Owned by Steve Hall of Novato, CA through the early 70s, it was then acquired by Ken Gimelli of Santa Cruz, CA. Mr. Gimelli, a long time Cadillac collector, realized how exceptional and original its condition was in. In its original Azure Blue paint (Paint Code 28) with white interior, it appeared the car had never been touched. This is the 428th of the 533 Eldorado’s produced in 1953, making them the rarest and most collectable Eldorado’s of all time.

By 1991, Mr. Gimelli sold the car to Steve Marini, owner of GM Sports in Stockton, CA. An Eldorado aficionado, Mr. Marini drove the car often, and became so enamored with this particular example that he decided to commence a complete, body off restoration. At the cost of over $150,000, the Eldorado was thoroughly restored using as many original parts as possible, and substandard items were replaced with NOS parts from Mr. Marini’s substantial collection. The result was a show-winning car that made multiple appearances at numerous concours events across Northern California.

In 2008, Mr. Gimelli sold the Eldorado to Bruce Kersey of Gig Harbor, WA. While Mr. Kersey loved the Eldorado, he was not fond of its original Azure Blue paint and interior combination. He proceeded to send the Cadillac to Jerry Hjeltness of Hjeltness Restoration in Escondido, CA. Having completed an award-winning Mercedes-Benz 300SL restoration for him in the past, Mr. Kersey knew that Jerry was the man for the job. Hjeltness disassembled the car and took the body down to the bare metal. Over the next 6 months, they would repaint the car in its stunning present Norman Gray Poly (Paint Code 8), and re-trimmed the interior in a vast expanse of beautiful red leather, and recondition all of the bright work. They approached the project as they do all of their Pebble Beach winning automobiles, and the result is a cosmetically stunning car that wouldn’t flinch being called a work of art. The chrome and stainless steel preparation is absolutely stunning. We have never seen such perfect chrome and stainless on a 1950’s Cadillac. Ever.

Mr. Kersey continued his pursuit for perfection. In 2010, he sent the car to another Pebble Beach winning restoration facility, Dennison International Motorsports in Puyallup, WA. They treated the Eldorado to a complete mechanical restoration of the driveline, brakes, and suspension.

The present condition of the car is absolutely stunning. It is perfect, or nearly perfect, in every respect. Yes, there is a small paint touch up here and there for items such as the parade top boot cover. And the undercarriage, while fully cleaned and detailed, has not been powder-coated and over restored. You’ll see in the photo gallery that the chassis shows that it has been on various lifts, etc. over the decades. But everything that you can see, feel, operate and touch, is incredible.

The engine compartment is beautifully detailed showcasing the venerable 331 cu in OHV V8 coupled to its four-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. The performance is excellent to propel this gorgeous piece of Americana history on its 126 inch wheelbase.

The Eldorado was a result of the overwhelming response from the 1952 Motorama showcar. The Eldorado was based on the 1953 Series 62 coupe and was custom coachbuilt by Fleetwood craftsman to make it the pinnacle of luxury and style. In fact, the Eldorado is still considered the top American model for luxury. In a public relations coup for the ages, the first production Eldorado literally rolled out with the president of the United States in the backseat, as Dwight Eisenhower used it for his inaugural parade in January 1953.

In summary, offered here is likely the nicest 1953 Eldorado available anywhere in the world. It has undergone a color change, but with incredible perfection. It has not been shown and would be accepted at the most prestigious events in the world. It is being offered at a fraction of the investment made to restore such a car to this level of perfection.

For more details and information, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The Eldorado is available for viewing in our Phoenix showroom.

We are pleased to offer this beautiful low-mileage 1966 Cadillac Eldorado that has been sympathetically restored as needed. With 68,900 miles since new and well optioned, it is nice enough for regional car shows and would be a fantastic tour car.

This is one of the 2,250 Eldorados made in 1966 and the very last year of the rear-drive Eldorado convertible series. This is a very nice rust-free example that was said to have lived its life in the Southwest. About ten years ago it was treated to an excellent repaint, all new and correct leather, refinished wood and much more. The quality of the work performed and materials is excellent.

We love the beautiful and rare Florentine Firemist (Paint Code 97) that is an older repaint which looks excellent now with a recent touch up and polishing. The paint is in overall excellent condition with only a 1/2 inch scratch near the engine compartment and a tiny chip near the drivers side fender marker light. The body panels are nearly perfect all around, very straight with very excellent alignment. The power convertible top looks new and is in its Sandalwood stayfast vinyl (Trim Code 6). The optional wire wheels look terrific but show some white oxidation on the inside of the rim between the spokes.

The exterior chrome and stainless are in very nice to excellent condition. There is one small dent at the bottom of the passenger side front bumper that you’ll see in the photo gallery. It is very low and therefore very difficult to see. The pot metal chrome is devoid of the common pitting that you often see. This has obviously been loved and cared for its entire life.

The newer leather interior is in beautiful condition in a complimentary Sandalwood leather that appears be in the all the correct patterns and correct blend of perforated and smooth materials. The wood has also been beautifully refinished and was obviously in nice original condition to begin with. The carpeting is also all newer and in excellent condition. The dash is correct, original and in excellent condition with no cracks or issues. The steering wheel is also original and in great condition. The center Sandalwood horn trim could be refinished at some point. It appears to have been dyed and has light cracking in the finish material.

The engine compartment is beautifully detailed and ready for show. It is in stunning condition and detailed correctly. It is obvious that this Eldorado has always been garaged as the engine compartment and chassis are devoid of the light surface rust that is so commonly seen. The original 429 CID V8 starts easily when cold and is smooth and powerful.

The trunk is also fully redone and looks great. The jack, tire iron and spare are in the trunk and also in very nice condition. The spare is matching and well presented with the matching cover for the wheel. This Eldorado comes complete with a shop manual, owner’s manual, top operations guide, service manual and more.

The Eldorado has received its 158-point inspection and it was found to be in excellent overall condition. It confirms that this is a rust-free example with no signs of accidents or issues. The chassis photos are included in the photo gallery and show this to be a well-cared for and low mileage original car. The air-conditioning works well and has been converted to 134a Freon, the options include chrome wire wheels, cruise control, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power seats, power convertible top, electric windows (the drivers side rear window is fully operational from the back switch and partially from the drivers door), AM/FM radio with power antenna, and more.

For more information and details, call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The Eldorado is available for viewing at our Phoenix showroom.

The paint was resprayed in the original color in 1995 by Dan’s Custom Paint. We are selling this Eldorado on behalf of the family of the deceaed owner who enjoyed a multi-million dollar colleciton. He bought the car in 1998. Over the years, the car has accumulated about 65,000 miles.

Cosmetically, the Eldorado is in good to very good condition. The paint is in very nice shape. The drivers side plastic between the fender and the bumper needs to be replaced and repainted. The interior leather is in very good shape. The drivers side seat has one area of wear that reflects the age and mileage of the car. But overall the presentaiton is nice.

The transmission was rebuilt in 2015 and previuously he had the top rebuilt. Many of the repairs were done by the local Cadillac dealer here in Scottsdale. Mechanically, the car operates well and the air conditioning blows cold. It is pleasant to drive. The clock is not working.

This Caddy is powered by a massive 500 cubic inch V8 engine that runs great and doesn’t flinch at the notion of carrying this big car down the interstate at cruising speed. This motor has a reputation for reliability and is amazingly responsive upon acceleration. The power plant is backed up by a sturdy three-speed TH 425 transmission that shifts flawlessly. Put this car on a lift and you’ll get up close and personal with a meticulously-engineered suspension system that delivers one of the smoothest rides you could ever imagine. With torsion bars up front and a coil spring set-up in back, this car handles like a dream and floats down the highway like you’re riding on a cloud. Add four-wheel disc brakes and you have a driving experience that combines safety and comfort.

SOLD to North Carolina!

• Cadillac Grand National second place winner in 2017, after driving to the event
• “Emerit” Designation for Cadillac LaSalle Club (CLC), after five consecutive first place wins
• Bare metal correct repaint in 2017
• New correct leather and top in 2007
• Long term ownership by CLC members

This gorgeous 1964 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible has won numerous awards including several first place trophies and a second place at the Cadillac Grand Nationals in 2017. And this is after being driven to each and every event, covering 22,000 miles in the past 15 years of ownership. It achieved “Emerits” status with the Cadillac LaSalle Club due to five consecutive first place wins. The Eldorado comes with many trophies and placards from various events.

The Eldorados livery has received a bare metal respray in 2017 in the original Firemist Aquamarine (Paint Code 94-2), finished with four coats of clear coat. And taking an Eldorado down to bare metal is no easy (nor inexpensive) task! The paint is gorgeous and it has been blocked and sanded beautifully to provide an extremely deep luster, and has few imperfections. The chrome and stainless all are original and are in good to very good condition. Cadillac had excellent quality chrome from the factory and this example has held up very well.

The interior was redone in the correct Aquamarine (Trim Code 16) leather in 2007 and is in excellent condition today. Most Eldorados don’t get restored with leather because of the expense, and this has been done beautifully- thus the numerous concours wins. The white convertible top was replaced along with the interior in 2004. The power top works smoothly and well. We love the wood accents in the Eldorado. The wood veneers in this example are in nice condition. Some of the veneer has the original finish while others have been refinished.

Mechanically, this Eldorado drives terrific. The transmission received a new turbo and flexplate in 2018 and the venerable 429 cu in V8 engine was rebuilt in about 1980. The brake master cylinder and power brake unit were replaced in 2018 as well. The air conditioning has been gone through, but was disconnected when the brake work was completed. There was a new compressor and dryer installed recently. The wide white wall radials have about 4,000 miles of wear and add to the safety and comfort of driving.

The present owner has truly loved and enjoyed this motorcar. He was a long time board member for the Cadillac LaSalle Club (CLC), as well as other car clubs. With 15 years of ownership, steadily improving the car and showing it, they accumulated 22,000 miles. A prior owner, Ted Walters, enjoyed the car from 1979 to 1999 and was also on the board of the CLC.

If you are looking for a beautiful and rare 1964 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible, consider this example. It is equally at home on the show field as a weekend cruiser! For more details and information, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. It is available for inspection at our Phoenix, AZ showroom.

This is a wonderful 1965 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible that had been loved by one woman and her son since new (prior to our acquisition). It is a rust and accident free example with only 92,000 miles since new. Everything about this car exudes loving ownership and care towards the car. The Eldorado has been thoroughly serviced and is ready for touring and showing. We acquired this for our personal collection and it was used by our children in our wedding seven years ago.

When we bought the car it was largely in its original livery with many areas having been touched up over the years. In June 2014 we repainted it in the original color of Sheffield Firemist (Code 92) with a nice quality two stage base coat clear coat. The color combination of the silver with red interior is just simply stunning! The trim items, chrome and stainless are all original and in very good to excellent condition.

One look at this Eldorado and it is obvious this has been garage kept. The interior has all of its original leather. We were planning on re-dying the front leather seats to keep it original but some may choose to replace the front leather. We prefer the originality. Importantly, there are no cracks in the dash or steering wheel which are common issues for those cars not garage kept.

This is a very well optioned Eldorado. The air conditioning has been completely converted to R134 and works beautifully. The power windows, seat and top all work well. Everything works well with the exception of the cruise control which we’ve not really played with.

We’ve performed all major and minor maintenance. We’ve put about 2,000 miles on the car and it is a dream to drive! The five wide white wall Coker radials are new with only the 2,000 miles driven thus far. The 429 cu in V8 has 340 HP and is a dream to drive!

For a valuation please review the Hagerty Value Guide (No. 2 Value is $47,850) at:

History of this Eldorado- This Eldorado was made at the factory during the third week in March 1965. The car was bought new in Miami by Ms. Evelyn Hill. We bought the Eldorado from Evelyn’s son, Pat Hill. Pat was the very first to say that his mother was quite the character. She was raised in New York by a very successful self-made man. He made his fortunes building thousands of homes for the Endicott coal miners in Pennsylvania.

She was his favorite thing and raised her to be quite the pistol. When she got into a little bit of trouble he thought it was funny, which made for a very colorful and dynamic adult.

Evelyn raced cars, belonged to country clubs, enjoyed her gin and tonics and smoked cigarettes. She also had quite a vocabulary which frequently included language as colorful as herself. She was also quite the player, having had five husbands and dating many notable people, including dukes and dignitaries from around the world. She was a long-time member of The Jockey Club of Miami (the Eldorado still bears the window decals of her membership).

She evidently drove the Eldorado in a very spirited manner, but luckily never had an accident.

Pat recounted that his mother went to the Miami Cadillac dealer and fell in love with the flashy Eldorado convertible and somehow managed to buy it out from under a basketball player who also wanted it.

Luckily, her two-bedroom home in elegant Coral Gables had a one-car garage. The Eldorado was never left out in the elements and was always garaged. The car saw little highway use. It was used mainly for driving around town and to the club.

By 1975 Pat had married Bunny and they had their first child. Pat and Bunny met at McPherson College and settled in Wichita where Pat took over an advertising agency. Evelyn wanted to be near her first grandchild and decided to move to Wichita. She sold her home in Florida, bought a house a half block away from her new grandchild and had the Eldorado shipped to Wichita because she didn’t want to add miles to the car.

She continued to use the Eldorado as her daily driver until her death in 2007. Pat and Bunny inherited the car and kept it in good repair but used it little (one of Evelyn’s last requests was that they take good care of the Eldorado).

The entire story of coming to owe this magnificent Eldorado is published on the ClassicCars.com blog at:

http://blog.classiccars.com/classic-car-harrys-1965-cadillac-eldorado-convertible/

It is rare to find a garage kept one family since new motorcar. It is rarer for it to be such as desirable model as an Eldorado Convertible. If you are serious about adding one to your collection this is worthy of your consideration. For more information please call Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This Eldorado is located and may be inspected at our Phoenix showroom.
