This Arnage was sold new on January 15th, 2002, to Sandra Via from Moneta, VA from Bentley High Point in NC.  Ms. Via enjoyed the Bentley until it was acquired by its present owner, longtime RROC member Karl Bittner from Victoria, BC, from Bentley High Point for $139,900 on February 16, 2006, having accumulated a mere 16,145 miles from new.  Mr. Bittner has enjoyed the Arnage as a special daily driver for most of the past 17 years and has serviced it faithfully at Bentley Vancouver.  We have an impressive file with the Bentleys history and service records.  In 2022, this Bentley received The Lord Montagu award from the RROC for the Best Car from Outside the US.  The Arnage had been driven to and from the event from Vancouver, BC!  Mr. Bittner also just had a full service performed at Bentley Vancouver and then straightaway drove it down to our showroom in Phoenix!  This is a gorgeous Arnage Red Label that can be enjoyed immediately.

The exterior is finished in its original Silver Pearl paint (Paint Code 9560009) which is nearly perfect. Our inspection only found the typical very small paint chips on the front bumper area from rock chips.  The paint is deep and rich and looks stunning with the polished matrix grills, dual exhaust ports, red label badges and the original Bentley Five Spoke chrome wheels.

The interior is striking in its Slate leather (Trim Code A4137) is in nearly perfect condition with only minor creases in the leather from age and use.  The Slate leather is contrasted with ample special ordered burl walnut wood throughout that is simply gorgeous.  The doors panels have the extra walnut veneer trim, the gear selector and the rear seat picnic tables are burl walnut as well.  This Arnage has the Bentley B’s inlaid in the door cap rails and embroidered into the four headrests. In the trunk are the dual Bentley umbrellas mounted to the far side of the trunk compartment.  The Cirrus Gray carpeting is in excellent condition and is covered by matching Cirrus Gray sheepskin mouton overlays both for the front and the rear occupants.  Of course, the rear seats recline as one would fine in a First-Class cabin.  A relatively rare option for an Arnage is the sunroof, that works as it should.

The engine compartment is fully and beautifully detailed.  The venerable 400hp V8 has over 600 ft lbs. of torque that literally propels this Bentley like a rocket.  Mechanically, this Bentley is nearly as new.  As mentioned previously, this Arnage has been faithfully and meticulously maintained and serviced at Bentley dealerships.  Now having accumulated 74,205 miles from new, it comes complete with its service records beautifully organized in a binder.  Also included is an original sales brochure, the Owner’s handbook, three sets of keys, factory tools, CARFAX Report, additional factory literature and a complete history.

The only imperfection noted is that the navigation screen doesn’t stay down (a common issue with most all Arnages).

The exterior is finished in its original Beluga Black paint which is nearly perfect. Our inspection only found two very small touched up paint chips on the drivers side A-pillar and one in the front. The paint is deep and rich and looks stunning with the dark window tinting and the chrome accepts and original Bentley chrome wheels.  We love the aero-contoured rocker panel trim which one would expect more from a T.

The interior is perhaps even more impressive and much more rare. The Saddle tan leather is nearly perfect in all respects. This is the only Arnage known that was ordered with the Continental R seats, which make it unique and stunning. The leather is contrasted with piano black Ebony wood throughout that is simply gorgeous. It is a very rare option for a Rolls or Bentley. The last time we saw this feature was in the Rockefellers Rolls-Royce Phantom V James Young Sedanca.

From an email sent to us by Richard Vaughan: “…I happen to be the author of The Complete Guide to the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph and Bentley Arnage. I saw your ad and wanted to alert you to just how special that car is. It’s a one-off special order commissioned by the late Woody Richey, at Dimmitt RR/B. Woody was well known in RROC circles for ordering the most bespoke cars from Crewe. He knew how the bespoke system worked and really understood his customers and helped them create special cars. This particular car was ordered with soft trim to have the style of the Continental R, making it one of one. Have a look at some other Arnages, you will not see this seat trim style in any other car.”

Other features of the interior include a Saddle leather headliner that has front to back pleats, Ebony black picnic tables, reclining rear seats and black mouton sheepskin overlays over the black Wilton wool carpeting. There is a wear mark in the carpet next to the accelerator pedal where the original owners high heels wore through.

Mechanically, this Bentley is nearly as new.  It is obvious that this isn’t the Bentley that has sat unattended for years. The previous owner had consistently been enjoyed about 1,000 miles per year and well maintained and serviced.  The present owner is a good friend of ours and he has added 7,000 miles over the past 25 months.

The Bentley drives beautifully with all the annual servicing being conducted by a factory trained independent Rolls-Bentley engineer.

This Arnage T is a multiple award winner.  It earned Best in Show at the Southeast Region RROC meet as well as the National First Place at the 2021 RROC Annual Meeting in Lake George, NY.  These are impressive wins that help certify the condition of this example.

Sold new through Bentley of Troy on July 28, 2004, this Bentley has a clean CARFAX that shows that it has been faithfully and regularly dealer serviced from new.  From Michigan, this Arnage was in the care of RROC members in Louisiana and the Carolinas.

The livery is stunning in its Black Velvet (Paint Code 9560064) with its special Arnage T 19 inch two-piece five spoke polished alloy wheels.  Black Velvet is a fabulous color that looks black in the shade and in the evening, but reveals a beautiful and subtle burgundy hue in the sunlight.  The chrome matrix grill, black Bentley badges and oversized oval exhaust tips give a hint that this is not your normal Arnage.  The exterior has all original factory paint that is in nearly showroom condition and is without dents or chips.

The interior is also in a rare color of Redwood leather with black leather accents.  The seats have the diamond stitching that the Arnage Ts are known for, as well as the aluminum engine-turned accents throughout.  The wood veneer was special ordered as ebony black, which looks fantastic contrasted against the aluminum trim.  Black Bentley winged B’s are embroidered into the seats and the carpet black with black banding.  The interior is in excellent condition today, the leather is soft and supple and without blemishes.  The door cap rails were ordered to curve to the top of the doors and the rear passengers have seat heaters and the picnic tables are readily accessible.  The rear seats also have a powered lumbar support and a wonderful reclining feature resembling a First Class experience on an airplane.   Look closely at the door lock and inside door handles which have been specially knurled.  The navigation screen can be operated by its remote and the systems have been upgraded and updated.  If desired, the screen can also be converted for a backup camera.  The pedals are drilled, reminiscent of Le Mans.

The Arnage T was the fastest production sedan of its time, with a top speed of 168 mph.  Its venerable 6.75 liter twin-turbocharged V8 produces 450 hp with a massive 645 ft lbs of torque through its GM 4L80-E four-speed transmission.  These are impressively fast and absolutely fun to drive.

Rare for an Arnage, this T was ordered with a sunroof and the very special and rare Bentley jeweled gas cap.  In the trunk are the two Bentley umbrellas.  Accompanying this Arnage T are both keys, the Bentley battery tender, full manuals and a full service history from the last several years.  The recent maintenance receipts show that this has been fastidiously maintained.  The radial tires, brakes and normal service items have all recently been replaced.  As specified, this Arnage T retailed for about $250,000.

The NADA value is $54,400 for just a standard 2004 Bentley Arnage.  This has been priced competitively for an exceptional example.

The Silver Tempest livery is in exceptional condition. It is in near showroom condition with no dents, scratches or faults. There are numerous very small rock chips in the front from highway driving. The windshield also has a few very small imperfections. We love the famous Bentley winged B’s and logos that were done in black for the T series. The 19 inch split rims are also special for the T series and are in excellent condition.

The black leather is soft and supple and features the diamond stitching pattern throughout. The interior is accented with darker walnut trim complimented with engine turned aluminum panels. The look is stunning. The black Wilton wool carpet has overlay mats with the Bentley logo. The drilled accelerator and brake pedals are also classic Bentley performance accessories. The 412 CID V8 is twin turbocharged and was one of the most powerful production cars on the planet in 2002. With 450 hp and 645 ft lbs of torque, this Bentley is exciting to drive! The top speed is reported to be 168 mph through the four speed automatic transmission. The Bentley comes with all of its books and many years of dealer service receipts. It also has a perfectly clean CARFAX.  The speedometer is in kilometers rather than mph.

One year ago this T benefitted from a major service that included $1,900 for ceramic finishing to the entire exterior.  The full cost of the service was over $10,000.

We love the parchment leather contrasted with sand piping and hides throughout the interior space. It has the sand leather top roll on the dash, which blends in beautifully with the Masons Black paint. The Wilton wool carpets are all sand with sand piping. The original black mouton sheepskin overlays are included for the front and rear passengers as well. The steering wheel is the extra thick version in the contrasting leather, and it feels perfect.

The wood is in very good condition. There are several additional wood veneer panels to the door, picnic tables and vanities in the rear passenger compartment. I don’t believe you could have any more wood in an Arnage!

The parchment leather seats are in very good condition and are very comfortable. The front seats have all the expected electrical conveniences. The rear seats have electric reclining and lumbar adjustments as well as rear seat heaters.

It has four Toyo radials mounted on the chromed Bentley Red Label 18-inch wheels. The LWB features the venerable 400+HP twin turbo that makes the car perform amazingly!! And with about 620 ft lbs of torque it pulls like a freight train. Note the dual exhaust! This LWB sounds breathtaking, the exhaust note has a deep rumble that exudes power. And the performance doesn’t disappoint.

This Arnage RL flew through our 158-point inspection.  We replaced the rear suspension spheres to make sure the ride is as it should be.  This Bentley appears very well maintained.

The Arnage was sold new on October 31, 2001 by Desert European in Rancho Mirage, CA to Mr. Larry Taylor of Los Angeles.  Mr. Taylor traded in his 1997 Bentley Brooklands Trophy Edition for the Arnage RL.  It was later owned by Mr. John Randolph of Scottsdale, AZ.  Mr. Randolph was a member of the RROC since 1963.  It is now owned by our client who resides in Beverly Hills, CA.

CONDITION OF THIS ARNAGE RL

The LWB models came with a separate air conditioning system in the rear that is controlled by the rear seat passengers. This example was ordered for four passengers and the rear compartment includes a special writing desk. We love the magnolia leather contrasted with the dark blue hides throughout the interior space. It has the dark blue leather top roll on the dash, which blends in beautifully with the Peacock Blue paint. The Wilton wool carpets are all dark blue with magnolia piping. The original dark blue mouton overlays are included as well as the rear movable foot rests. The steering wheel is the extra thick version in the contrasting leather, and it feels perfect.

The wood is in good to very good condition. There are several additional wood veneer panels to the door, picnic tables and vanities in the rear and the wood writing desk and compartment lid in the rear passenger compartment. I don’t believe you could have any more wood in an Arnage!

It has four proper PZero Pirelli radials mounted on the updated 18 inch Bentley wheels. The LWB features the venerable 400+HP twin turbo that makes the car perform amazingly!! Note the dual exhaust! This LWB sounds breathtaking, the exhaust note has a deep rumble that exudes power. And the performance doesn’t disappoint.

The early Arnage model had horribly inefficient headlights that had a clear plastic cover. This plastic with time would become milky and the headlights were rendered ineffective. The owner of this Arnage had custom made headlights built and installed, and they look absolutely correct. And the headlights light up the road a order of magnitude better than the originals.

HISTORY OF THIS ARNAGE RL (LWB)
This Arnage was bought new at Braman Motors in Miami, Florida. It’s first check up was on October 23rd, 2001 with 71 miles showing. The original owner was said to be the heir to the Standard Oil estate.

The second owner, Mr. John “Jack” Brobst of Lake Worth, FL and Macomb, MI, bought the car in about 2002. Mr. Brobst is a collector of Rolls and Bentley and kept the LWB at his home in Miami and Michigan. He also owned a Rolls in the same Peacock Blue confusing friends as to whether he was driving his Rolls or LWB Bentley! By 2011 Mr. Brobst drove the car up to his home in MI. It had accumulated a mere 19,600 miles and was serviced at Bentley Troy, MI. In 2011 Mr. Brobst traded his Rolls and the LWB in for a 2010 Rolls Royce. The LWB was then bought by Mr. Jonathan A Bregy of Palm Beach, FL. It now has a mere 25,300 miles since new. We have the full service log for this fantastic LWB Arnage.

Five years ago we sold this beauty to a famous music producer with 60 Gold and Platinum records to his fame. He and his family enjoyed the Bentley in Malibu, CA. He sent it for us to sell because he has just acquired a new Bentley and this became redundant.

CONDITION OF THIS ARNAGE RL
This Arnage is now 17 years old and has accumulated 54,000 miles. The Peacock Blue Metallic paint is absolutely stunning. The original retail price of this Bentley was $242,885, with the options adding up to about $30,000 and make it a unique motorcar. The rare “small light” limousine rear window was about a $15,000 option alone! And the beautiful Storm Grey metallic paint is stunning when contrasted against the English Tan leather interior. The paint is nearly perfect with only a small area near the trunk key slot, having a slight paint defect showing (we’ve seen this same defect on many Arnages). We love the optional chrome grill shell with the chrome matrix grill.

The English Tan leather is in excellent condition throughout. The Burr Oak wood is simply stunning. It is a light burl Oak with an oak trim that is gorgeous. The factory embedded chrome strips along with Bentley logos into the door cap rails, which is extremely rare, if not unique. All four doors also have the extra veneer through the mid section of the door, which we think is a must! The tan sheepskin overlays for the carpet are in the front and back. The fully heated rear seats recline and this Bentley was ordered with the picnic tables for the rear seat occupants as well as the illuminated vanities in the rear side pillars. The center armrest has two champagne flutes to help celebrate life! And the trunk features four Bentley umbrella, just in case of inclimate weather!

The navigation and entertainment system has been updated. And the rare sunroof option is present and fully functioning.

The custom ordered 19 inch Bentley chrome wheels were only an option on the Arnage T, and are in very nice condition with the Yokohama tires showing a little wear. Mechanically, this Arnage Red Label is excellent. The twin turbo engine has been fully serviced and is ready to enjoy. The brakes were fully serviced in 2019. Everything is fully functioning as it should. This Bentley does not suffer from the gremlins of so many others. The twin turbo charged 6.75 liter engine produces about 400 hp and 616 ft-lbs of torque. It comes with a clean CARFAX showing no accidents or other issues.  This Arnage comes complete with its books, manuals, remote for the entertainment system and the various tools.
