This is a multiple national award winning 1941 Packard 110 Deluxe Two Door Sedan that is in excellent condition for touring or concours. Winning its AACA National Junior and Senior awards and then the prestigious AACA Joseph Parkin National Award in 2013, this Packard has been incredibly well-restored for a junior series Packard.

This Packard was sold new at Earl C. Dorsey Packard in Urbana, OH on March 28, 1941 to Mr. George P. Seibert. By 1988, it was acquired by Mr. Herb Oakes of Jacksonville, NC. Mr. Oakes was the past National President of the AACA and well respected and highly regarded. He enjoyed the Packard on tours and various shows, but really did not care for its original two-tone paint. He later commenced a concours quality two-year body-off restoration that was completed in 2012. Ultimately, the Packard won its AACA Grand National award.

The beautiful Black livery gives this Packard a formal and elegant appearance. The paint is excellent today and appropriate for concours competition with deep shine and luster throughout. The chrome and stainless-steel trim are also in excellent condition. All of the lenses appear to be NOS and in excellent condition. The hood ornament is the chromed Packard feather. We love Packard’s classic and curvy dual side mirrors. Notice the Deluxe front and rear optional bumper guards normally only appearing on 180 Packards.

The interior upholstery and door panels are a correct and beautiful tan cloth that is contrasted with burgundy piping. The carpet and headliner are also tan and the entire interior presents as-new. The faux wood painted dashboard and window trim are stunning. All the interior trim has been polished or re-chromed. The finicky dash plastic has all been restored and in excellent condition. All the instruments work, including the clock.

The engine compartment is detailed for concours and in excellent condition. Packard’s venerable 245 CID inline six-cylinder engine produced 100 bhp. This engine performs as new and, with its very rare and desirable overdrive, this 110 can keep up with modern traffic. During its restoration, a new wiring harness was installed from Naragansette Wiring and a stainless-steel exhaust from Keppich Exhaust. The chassis is beautifully detailed and with only light cleaning is concours ready. Packard 110’s were also advanced with regard to its windshield wipers, which were electric rather than vacuum. This Packard now has accumulated 32,805 miles.

For more information and details, please call or text Kendi Brown at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This Packard is available for inspection at our showroom in Phoenix. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections, and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

PRICE REDUCED! This 1941 Packard 110 Convertible Coupe is in overall good condition and has been mechanically sorted to be ready for tours! The Packard is finished in two tone maroon over white with matching red interior and a maroon convertible top. It is powered by its original 245ci inline-six paired with a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Showing 82,787 believed original miles, this Packard is well-suited as a driver-quality pre-war convertible for touring and local events.

The Packard 110 Convertible represented Packard’s entry-level offering in 1941, designed to broaden the brand’s reach while maintaining its reputation for engineering quality and smooth performance. This is one of the final pre-war Packards produced before WWII halted civilian automobile production. This Packard was acquired by its current owner in 2019 to add to their collection of pre-war motorcars to be driven regularly and toured. During their ownership, they invested more than $44,000 in restoration to create a mechanically excellent and period-correct Packard.

The exterior of this Packard is in overall good condition, finished in a two-tone maroon over white that shows visible chips and cracking consistent with age and use. The convertible top is finished in maroon with a matching boot cover. Brightwork is in overall good condition with some wear and pitting across trim elements. The headlights, sidelights, turn signals, taillights, and windshield wipers all function correctly. The Packard has wire wheels fitted with Coker Classic whitewall tires replaced in 2018. The 110 presents as a beautiful driver that has a desirable color combination that is ready to be enjoyed!

The interior of the Packard is in overall great condition trimmed in red vinyl upholstery with matching piping and black carpeting. The matching maroon painted dashboard is in great condition and the knobs throughout are in good condition with no cracking. The instruments and gauges are in good working order which include the heater, defrost, AM radio and clock. Overall, the interior is beautiful and in great working condition, ready for local shows and weekend drives!

The Packard retains its original 245ci inline-six engine with a downdraft carburetor and paired to a three-speed column-shift manual transmission with overdrive. The 6V battery is mounted under the driver’s seat (dated 6/22), and a battery cutoff is next to the driver’s seat. The Packard has drum brakes. From 2019 to present, the Packard has received extensive work across multiple systems totaling over $44,000 in documented parts and service. The drivetrain and overdrive system saw significant attention, including replacement and servicing of the overdrive solenoid, relay, lockout switch, transmission components, U-joints, and driveshaft work. The brake system was addressed with new brake shoes, springs, and wheel cylinders, along with additional brake-related service. The electrical system was substantially updated with a new wiring harness, rebuilt radio, ignition switch, and various electrical components. The fuel system includes work on the fuel pump, gas tank, sending unit, and fuel gauge repairs. The cooling and general mechanical systems include routine servicing. Interior and accessory-related work includes repairs to switches, interior handles, and dash components. Lastly, cosmetic and trim work included grille installation, chrome work, and minor paint-related items.. The Packard presents as a mechanically complete example with documented recent investment and functional systems.

This is a beautifully restored 1942 Packard 110 Convertible Coupe that is ready for local and regional shows and regular use. The 1942 Packard’s have many features that are unique for its year. Features such as the wheel covers, starting procedures, door handles and even the vacuum operated power convertible top. This example is delightful to drive and is simply gorgeous to admire.

American automobiles from 1942 are incredibly rare since the US entered the war and all industrial efforts pivoted to helping with the war effort. Packard’s 1942 models commenced on August 25, 1941 and ended abruptly on February 7, 1942. This Packard was sold new in Flint, MI at the MC Davis Packard dealership on August 21, 1943, a full year and a half after it was built.

The livery is stunning in Cadet Cream (Paint Code 4492) with the red accented wheels with wide white walled tires, beautiful chrome throughout and its black canvas convertible top with red binding. The paint is in excellent condition and is polished well for show. There are only a couple very small areas where the body prep could have been improved for concours judging, but overall it is beautifully restored. The body work and paint were done by William Link of Scottsdale. This example is well accessorized with a spotlight and the optional trunk guards. The running boards look great in a black Rhino finish as opposed to the original rubber. All the stainless steel trim is well polished and also look great. The Goddess of Speed hood ornament also looks great and as-new.

The interior features maroon leather interior throughout. The maroon leather, carpet and interior as a whole are in excellent condition and are done with the proper materials. The seats are very comfortable and the deluxe steering wheel is wrapped in leather and is comfortable to use. The interior was finished as a Deluxe interior and it really looks fantastic. All of the maroon dash plastic is in excellent condition, and the radio is in excellent condition, although no antenna is connected leaving it non-functional. All of the instrumentation works well with the exception of the clock.

The black canvas convertible top can be manually raised and lowered. It is a vacuum operated power top that can be rebuilt and made functioning. Rebuilding the components costs about $3,000. The canvas top and the chrome top frame are all in very nice condition. It would benefit from a convertible top boot cover.

Under the hood is the 245 CID straight six cylinder Packard engine that delivers 105 hp, an increase over the prior year. With its 122′ wheelbase, the 110 performs well and handles great. The three-speed transmission shifts smoothly. Every part of this Packard has been restored. The chassis is beautifully detailed and would perform well in shows.

For more details and information, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The Packard is available for viewing in our Phoenix showroom.
