The factory removable color-matching hard top is present and in great condition, and the black soft top is also in great condition. The interior of this 560SL is in excellent condition throughout. The tan leather upholstery is in excellent condition with no visible wear or damage across the bucket seats. Tan German fine tuft velour carpeting is in excellent condition and the hard top headliner is in excellent condition. Wood trim panels are in excellent condition, and the dashboard presents in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or damage. Equipment includes functioning air conditioning, heater and defrost, cruise control, power windows, a Bluetooth-enabled stereo, and a functioning clock. The fog lights are currently not working. The interior is absolutely lovely and is in excellent condition overall.

Power is supplied by the original 5.6L V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with Bosch fuel injection and rear-wheel drive. This Mercedes has independent suspension at all four corners, limited slip differential and power assisted four-wheel disc brakes that are all in working order. Recent servicing by MB Motors in 2025 includes brake master cylinder replacement and oil system updates, as well as a new battery and AC service. This Mercedes is in overall great condition that will be enjoyed for many more miles to come.

The Mercedes was originally delivered to Montreal, Quebec Canada in November 1988. The 560SL was retained by a single owner between 2005 and 2025.  The odometer shows 136,000 kilometers (84,000 miles) believed original, supported by the accompanying service log, partial maintenance records, and ownership history. This 560SL offers its next owner both usability and collectability. 

The exterior is presented in Impala Brown, a rich metallic shade marketed in the U.S. as Desert Taupe Metallic. The paint retains an attractive luster overall in great condition, with a couple small touched-up spots on the hood visible under close inspection. The chrome trim is in great condition with some wear showing in high use areas. The Brown convertible soft top and the Impala Brown hard tops are present and in great condition. The exterior presents in great condition overall. 

Inside, the Mercedes-Benz features Brazil Brown leather upholstery with matching carpets and mats, all in great condition. The driver’s headrest shows light wear and discoloration on one side, but otherwise the seats remain supple and free of damage. The Mercedes-Benz includes automatic climate control with functioning air conditioning, Becker Grand Prix AM/FM cassette stereo, electric windows, central locking, heated seats, cruise control, and a driver’s airbag. Power is supplied by the 5,549 cc SOHC V8, rated at 225 bhp at 5,200 rpm, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and Bosch fuel injection. This Mercedes has independent suspension at all four corners and four-wheel disc brakes that are all in working order. The engine bay presents cleanly and has benefitted from recommissioning in 2025 including new fuel pumps, fuel tank, air injection pump assembly, main engine computer and air conditioning recharge.
