The 1927 Buick Master Six Model 47 represents one of the marque’s most successful and respected prewar sedans, offering ample power, a luxurious interior, and Fisher body craftsmanship. Riding on a 120-inch wheelbase and powered by a 274-cubic-inch inline six producing 74 horsepower, this example combines originality with excellent presentation. With only 72,640 miles from new, concours recognition, and comprehensive documentation, Buick VIN 29699 is equally suited for regional shows, historic tours, or weekend outings.

Buick produced 49,105 examples of the Model 47 for the 1927 model year, with coachwork by Fisher in Detroit and final assembly in Flint, Michigan. This example remained in the original Coyne family from its delivery new in New Jersey until 2015, passing from Mr. and Mrs. Coyne to their son Francis, then to his son James, a noted Utah restorer who operated A&J Body & Paint until his passing in 2016. The Buick entered its current ownership in 2015, chosen for its close resemblance to the 1928 Buick the owner’s family enjoyed in New Zealand during the early 1950s. Used sparingly for dinners and local events over the past decade, the Buick has been carefully maintained, with thorough service records and original documentation accompanying the sale.

The exterior presents in excellent condition, finished in Washington Blue with black fenders and roof and highlighted by yellow pinstriping. The Buick was repainted in the mid-1990s and retains an attractive luster. Its 21-inch oak artillery wheels, painted in matching Washington Blue highlights, are fitted with newer Firestone tires and a rear-mounted spare. Original Buick-branded step plates, cowl lamps, and the factory luggage rack contribute to its authentic character. Overall, the bodywork and trim convey the presence of a well-preserved, highly usable prewar sedan.

Inside, the Buick’s cabin is notable for its size and comfort, featuring black mohair upholstery and headlining that were professionally restored in the 1990s and remain in excellent order today. The front and rear bench seats show minimal wear, while the spacious rear compartment is equipped with door pockets, robe bar, footrest, and window shades for passenger comfort. Nickel-plated door handles and window cranks, a wood four-spoke steering wheel, and the original steel dash with Buick’s distinctive control panel all remain in excellent overall condition. This interior captures both the durability and the understated elegance for which Buick was known in the 1920s.

Power comes from the original 274-cubic-inch inline six paired to a three-speed manual transmission, with semi-elliptical leaf springs at all four corners and mechanical drum brakes. Modifications for usability include a Chevrolet distributor conversion, an upgraded electric fuel system installed in 2016, and an 8-volt battery with trickle charger. The drivetrain runs well at moderate speeds, and maintenance has been kept current by marque specialists. The Buick was inspected and serviced in October 2025.

This Buick has been shown at a number of concours events over its 98 year history, and won several category awards. Importantly, this Buick has been recognized with 390 of 400 points by the Buick Club of America, earning Senior status and confirming its authenticity and quality. Equal parts showpiece and touring companion, this example is a true testament to Buick craftsmanship at the height of the Jazz Age.

SALE PENDING!! This is a wonderful example of the very rare and ultra–Mid-Century Modern 1959 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. This is a very nice, restored as needed convertible that has been cared for through the years. With new paint and leather interior, it looks as nice as it drives. But most importantly, we believe this to be one of the very best design statements of its time. This is an important Buick that can be shown at regional concours events or enjoyed as a wonderful weekend cruiser.

This Buick was built at the Flint, MI plant and is one of less than 5,500 convertibles built for the model year. The odometer shows 68,000 miles and has been certified as the total mileage from new. We helped source this Buick from its previous owner, Gary Guhman of Winter Park, FL and Rhode Island, on the 13th of May, 2015. It had been certified as having 66,267 miles from new on the 17th of August, 2006. We retained Tom Laferriere to inspect the Buick and it easily passed his inspection as a nice low mileage original car that had only been updated as needed. Our client, Mike Goh, exported the Buick to be part of his collection of 1950’s American classics in Malaysia. Over the past year, the Buick has benefitted from a repaint and new leather upholstery as well as significant mechanical restoration.

The livery of this 1959 Electra is nothing other than a design masterpiece. The two very simple straight lines make up the entirety of its gorgeous design. This is Jetsons at their best! The original Artic White paint (Paint Code C3) has been upgrade slightly to a modest pearl white. This looks very modern and looks sharp. The paint has all been redone over the last year and has terrific shine and luster. The chrome and stainless-steel trim are good to very good and appear to be original. Certain of the pot metal chrome plated pieces have some pitting, but mostly not noticeable without close scrutiny (We are showing 114 detailed photos in the gallery on our website). We love the rocker panel stainless detail for the Electra 225 (225 signifying the overall length of 225 inches of this gorgeous car). The white vinyl convertible power top works well and is in very nice condition. The wide white wall tires look correct and great but are likely at an age where they should be replaced. Overall, the exterior of this Buick is very sharp! Everyone loves this car!

The interior of the Electra 225 is beautiful in Red Leather seats and bolsters (Trim Code 870). The red leather has all been redone over the past six months and is beautiful. The red loop carpet is also in very nice condition and is a mix of original and correct replacement. The red vinyl top boot looks great and fits well. This Buick came complete with its Sonomatic AM radio and optional rear speaker (in addition to the CD player in the glovebox). Overall, the interior is in very nice condition throughout.

The engine compartment has been detailed and is good for regional shows and tours. The coolant has been replaced with Evans, which is the best you can get. The venerable 401 CID Wildcat V8 fires right up and has excellent power without any smoke or noises. The 401 produces 325 hp and a massive 445 ft lbs of torque, making this a terrific car to pull a vintage boat or airstream! The Twin Turbo Hydramatic transmission also functions well. The chassis is well undercoated and appears without rust. The present owner invested $30,000 mechanical restoration to ensure that this is a great driving Buick. Harbor Restoration in Florida did most of this restoration work. In addition, much of the suspension was replaced within the past year. This is a very nice, low mileage example that has been well cared for.

This Buick comes complete with an owner’s manual and a CD player that has been installed in the glove box. We have this priced well as the Hagerty No. 2 Value for this rare Buick is $85,000. See listing here: 1959 Buick Electra 225 Riviera | Hagerty Valuation Tools

For more information and details, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. This 1959 Buick Electra 225 Convertible is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This 1948 Buick Roadmaster Series 70 Sedanet has had four owners from new and has accumulated a mere 37,000 miles. She is a lovely survivor, being restored only as needed. The sleek body lines of the rare Sedanet are enhanced by her lustrous dark green livery which is beautifully complimented by her gorgeous original light gray Bedford cord cloth upholstery. This is a rare and beautiful Buick that would be equally enjoyed on tours or local car shows.

The Buick Roadmasters were beautifully designed by the legendary head of design at General Motors, Harley Earl. This Roadmaster was purchased new on September 20, 1948, by WWI Veteran Carl Hurner for $3,282 from Vinton & Larsen Sales and Service in McMinnville, OR. The original sales invoice is included in the sale and mentions its new Dynaflow transmission, seat covers and 3M undercoating. Mr. Hurner kept her for 25 years when she was acquired in 1972 by Glen Stafford. Mr. Stafford had her repainted at Ted’s Body Shop in Great Falls, ID in 1985. Mr. Bengy Kuehling acquired her from the Stafford estate on February 19, 1999, with 36,206 original miles. The current owner acquired her in 2010 and has driven her approximately 1,200 miles. She currently has a total of 37,445 from new.

This Roadmaster’s livery is Buick Verde Green (Paint Code 48-04) and has a deep, lustrous shine. Her 1985 repaint still looks very nice today with only a couple of small touched up chips that are only noticeable upon close inspection. Her chrome and stainless-steel trim are in very good to excellent condition. The chrome has been re-plated as needed and the grill and other trim are in excellent condition with no pitting and only very minor scratches from normal use. The front bumper is enhanced by a beautifully chromed and rare Van Auklen bumper guard. Her wide white wall tires and wheel covers make an elegant statement and show well. The sleek lines of the Sedanet are complemented by the fender skirts and the abundance of chrome and stainless accents. Overall, the exterior is in excellent show and tour condition.

The Buick’s interior is largely original, and her Grey Heather Bedford Cord upholstery (Trim 76) is in very nice condition. The gray cloth upholstery beautifully complements the striking Verde Green livery. She has lush dark gray carpets which were replaced by the previous owner and show very well with very little wear. The dash and instrument panel are a stunning two-tone gray. The instruments are silver finished, and all gauges are in working order and show very well. Her interior comes complete with an optional Sonomatic AM radio, antenna, heater, analog clock and an under-the-dash GM brand chrome tissue dispenser. Overall, the interior is largely original, well optioned and shows well throughout.

The engine compartment is very clean and nicely detailed and painted throughout. Her 320 cu in Fireball OHV Straight Eight produces 144 hp and is equipped with a 2-barrel carburetor. The power is transferred to the rear wheels through her 2-speed Dynaflow Automatic Transmission which shifts well and performs quietly. The valve cover has been repainted and displays the red “Buick Valve-In-Head Fireball Dynaflash Eight” stickers. The engine compartment shows very well throughout.

This gorgeous Roadmaster is accompanied with the original owner’s guide, titles from two former owners, the original sales invoice from 1948, the original dealership sales letter, the exterior repaint receipt from 1985, a lubrication receipt for 1956, an original Buick Roadmaster magazine ad and the original Buick polishing cloth.

This 1948 Buick runs and drives beautifully. With her well-maintained history, stunning design, and low mileage, she would be an excellent addition to consider.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Roadmaster is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This gorgeous and rare 1931 Buick Series 90 Model 95 7-Passenger Phaeton received a complete ground up restoration and was shown at the 2002 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. This Phaeton is one of only a handful extant and has been single-family owned for 30 years. Tasteful touring upgrades have been made to make for a wonderful example that can be used for touring or concours competition. This Buick presents beautifully and is a pleasure to drive. She has been meticulously maintained and needs nothing to be enjoyed.

The Series 90 was the most formal and elegant Buick made. With a wheelbase of 132 inches and a powerful straight 8 engine, the Series 90 competed directly with Cadillacs. As a result, sales were limited making these Classics very rare. Only 460 of the Phaetons were produced in 1931 (392 domestic and 68 for export) and only a handful are still known to exist. There is only one 1931 Series 90 Phaeton listed in the Classic Car Club of Ameria (CCCA) directory.

This Phaeton was completed on December 15th, 1930, and is one of the very rare export models. While her earliest history is unknown, by 1984, Mr. Stanely Cheruban of Simi Valley, CA acquired this Phaeton and regularly toured her throughout the Southwestern US establishing her as a reliable driver and tour car. By 1994, Mr. “Buzz” Pitzen of Fullerton, CA acquired her to restore her as a safe and reliable touring car and to drive her for pleasure and to show. The complete frame-off restoration was a two-year process that was completed in 1996. Mr. Pitzen provided detailed written documentation of the Buick’s gorgeous frame-off restoration that will be provided to her next caretaker. Overall, this restoration presents beautifully, and one would never guess that it was restored 27 years ago. This is a testament to its loving owners.

The two-toned livery is stunning with its khaki (Paint Code Centari N9684A) body complemented by scarlet fenders (Paint Code Centari 8753AK). The paint is beautifully polished and is in overall excellent condition today. Orange pinstriping is a beautiful complement and is very tastefully applied. The tan canvas convertible top, chrome top frame and oak top bows are all beautifully restored and appear as new. The side curtains and irons were fabricated matching the original patterns and show well along with their accompanying carrying cases. The rear passenger compartment has a beautifully restored dual windshield, making touring in the rear seat a joy!

The stainless-steel and chrome are in excellent condition. She comes complete with a wonderful selection of accessories, including dual side mounts with side mirrors, a trunk rack and metal trunk, dual spotlights, dual trumpet horns, Trippe Safety Lights and a radiator rock guard. The six original wood artillery wheels were replaced with khaki painted wire wheels which are khaki powder coated to match the body. The six original artillery wheels are in excellent condition and can also be used alternately. The trunk is well detailed and contains two American parade flags which can be added to flag holders located on each of the front fenders. The overall exterior is simply stunning.

The Buick’s interior is beautifully restored with tan leather seats complete with powdered coated springs and new padding. The two jump seats are in as-new condition. The remaining interior is well finished with matching tan vinyl and shows very well. Included within the locked driver’s door pocket is a complete set of eight period tools, all beautifully restored. The brown carpet is in very nice condition showing little wear. All of the gauges are beautifully restored and re-painted as necessary including the very rare Buick accessory 8-day clock. The interior shows very well throughout and the attention to detail is apparent.

The engine compartment is beautifully detailed and shows very well. The original engine was replaced with a rebuilt and correct 345 ci straight 8 producing 104 hp. The Buick eight cylinder was an advanced engine of the period and featured an oil temperature regulator that cooled the oil at high speeds and warmed it in cold weather. The engine runs beautifully and is painted in a beautiful dark green engine enamel. During its rebuild, there were several upgrades to the components to increase power and longevity of the engine. The power is transferred through a 3-speed, technically advanced, synchromesh transmission which operates smoothly and quietly. A Borg-Warner RB10, 15% overdrive has been installed which raises the rear-end gear ratio to 3.63. The speedometer was recalibrated for the use of the overdrive. A period AC oil filter has also been added for the longevity of the engine. The radiator was replaced with a high efficiency V cell. The chassis, suspension and running gear are painted in crimson (Paint Code 4992AH) to complement the scarlet fenders.

This Buick comes complete with a detailed account of the painstaking frame-off restoration process, numerous added upgrades, wiring diagrams, a Borg-Warner Overdrive manual and a 1931 Buick Specifications and Adjustments manual.

PRICED FOR QUICK SALE!! This beautiful 1967 Buick Riviera is a restored as needed example of “the gentleman’s muscle car”. She’s well optioned with air conditioning, power windows, tilt wheel and power antenna. She has benefitted from about $10,000 in recent restoration and upgrades. She needs nothing to be enjoyed for both touring and shows.

The current owner acquired the Riviera approximately one year ago from PJ’s Auto World in North Carolina and has completed numerous enhancements and restoration upgrades accompanied by records and receipts. PJ’s Auto World purchased her at auction and is not aware of her earlier history.

The livery is beautiful in her original Sapphire Blue (Paint Code 4815L) which appears to be a recent repaint. The paint has a beautiful overall presence with great shine and luster with almost no imperfections. The Sapphire Blue gives her an understated elegance while accentuating her sleek lines. She comes complete with the 15” Buick Rally Wheels and new Goodrich Radial redline tires. The rear bumper has been re-chromed and all of her chrome and brightwork show well overall. Her undercarriage is very clean and shows very well.

This Riviera’s interior shows very well throughout. Her Blue Vinyl upholstery (Trim Code 651-B) is a beautiful compliment to her Sapphire Blue exterior. The front bucket seat backs have been reupholstered in the correct Blue Vinyl within the past year and look beautiful. The rear seat upholstery may be original and shows expected patina for its age and shows well. The dash, instrument cluster and wood grain console all are in excellent condition. The dark blue carpets all show well with very little wear. She comes complete with a satellite radio and remotes and black rubber Buick floor mats. The driver’s door panel is original and in nice condition but does show expected patina for her age and use. The trunk compartment is in excellent condition and comes complete with a full rubber mat. Overall, the interior is in excellent condition and shows very well throughout.

The engine compartment is very clean and nicely detailed and painted throughout. Her 430 cu in V-8 runs very well and produces 360 hp at 5,000 rpm. Her intake manifold has been replaced with a high volume Edelbrock manifold to enhance performance. The original and restored manifold accompanies the Riviera. She has the GS exterior badges but does not have the GS 342 rear gears nor the 5.75-inch diameter air conditioning clutch found on the GS model. Therefore, it’s assumed that she is not a Grand Sport model.

This Riviera is well equipped and runs and drives beautifully. She is accompanied with approximately $10,000 worth of restoration receipts for work performed over the past year. She would be a beautiful addition to any muscle car collection.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Riviera is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This 1931 Buick Series 60 Phaeton is a very nice older restoration that is a rust-free California car. This example is in overall touring or driver quality with excellent mechanics and an older restoration that is showing its age. As one of only 463 Phaetons ever built, these are incredibly rare. This Buick would be a great example to participate in AACA and other car club events.

The Buick was restored and enjoyed by the Hoopers’ from Torrence, CA. The Hoopers’ were vintage car enthusiasts and long-time members of the Buick Club of America and participated in many tours. The Buick appears to be an older restoration from the late 1980’s or early 1990’s. The current Southern California owner acquired the Buick from Mrs. Hooper in January of 1994. The current owner bought the Phaeton as a gift for his dad, who had always admired the model. The Buick was shipped to his father in Las Vegas where it was enjoyed for over ten years before she was properly decommissioned after he fell ill. The Buick was then recommissioned by a professional mechanic and brought back to California in 2021 so the son could enjoy her.

The livery features four different colors. The Buick’s body is painted in a rich Red with Burgundy belt moldings and black fenders. The body is complimented with tan coach stripes which relate well with the tan wire wheels. The paint is very serviceable and has nice shine and luster with some small imperfections such as touched up chips which are only visible upon close inspection. The chrome and stainless steel are in overall good condition, with many pieces being original which would benefit from rechroming. The running boards are in good condition. The trunk has been repainted a slightly different color than the body from a previous owner. The canvas top is in good condition with no stains or tears. The wood and frame for the top are in good condition with no noticeable defects but is unable to fold down.

The interior is dressed in light beige leather that is soft and supple and is in nice condition. The front black rubber matting and the black carpet in the rear are in very good condition. We love the sleek dash and wood grain accent around the gauges. All of the instruments work except the fuel gauge. The wood trim on the back of the front bench seat shows some cracking but the rest of the wood framing and accents are all in good condition showing the appropriate patina. The chrome hand and foot rails in the passenger compartment are in great condition.

This Buick runs and drives great with its overhead valve 272 CID straight eight engine providing robust torque and a smooth ride. The engine compartment is well detailed throughout. This Buick has been properly serviced and maintained. Recent servicing includes: brake inspection and adjustment, rebuilt Marvel carburetor, rods and mains inspected, reseated and turned the valves, recoated the fuel tank, and it has been upgraded with modern shocks. She starts right up and runs cool. She rides smooth with her upgraded shocks. The 3-speed manual transmission works well and shifts smoothly.

This Buick comes with the two side-mounted spares, trunk, and service pamphlet. This Series 60 is a stylish and rare example that is very fun to drive. Being properly maintained and preserved to keep her running smoothly over the years, this Series 60 would be a great and seldom seen Phaeton to cruise local events.

For more details and information, please text, call or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The Buick is in our Phoenix showroom.

PRICE REDUCED $10,000! This is an incredibly rare and desirable 1958 Buick Century Caballero Estate Wagon that has benefitted from a full concours restoration and is certainly one of the very nicest extant. Having accumulated 22,000 miles since new and being with its original Santa Barbara, CA owner for 46 years, this was the perfect wagon to restore into the very best. This will not disappoint.

The Caballero was the most luxurious and expensive station wagon offered by any division at General Motors. The wagon portions were built for Buick by the Ionia Manufacturing Company of Owasso, MI. With only 4,456 built, only a small fraction exist today. This Caballero is in concours condition today after receiving what was described as a frame-off restoration where all components had been thoroughly restored. It has been well preserved and is today in gorgeous condition. We estimate that the chrome and stainless restoration alone must have required an investment in excess of $25,000.

There have been only three owners of this wagon since new. According to previous reports, this Caballeros was enjoyed by its original Santa Barbara owner until 2004. It was then acquired by a collector that set out on what was described as a complete frame-off restoration. While we do not have the restoration records, it would appear that it was completed about ten years ago. It was then sold at the Gooding & Co. auction at Pebble Beach in 2013 to its present owner, who has recently passed. We are selling this on behalf of his estate.

The livery is beautiful in Glacier White (Paint Code C) over Midnight Blue. The paint is perfectly polished and is in concours condition. There is an abundance of perfect chrome and beautifully polished stainless-steel trim everywhere. The highly stylized and rare pillarless design is fantastic.

The interior is also gorgeous and as-new with its Red and White two tone Cordaveen vinyl (Trim Code 655), with all the correct finishes and materials. We are impressed with the rear hatch glass and the quality of the mechanisms.

The engine compartment is finished to the very highest standards as well. The venerable 364 CID OHV V8 was rated at 300 hp and it features the Dynaflow automatic transmission. During its restoration, the front brakes were upgraded to 1961 Buick disc brakes for safety and usability.

For more details and information, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The Caballero is in our Phoenix showroom.

Designed by the great Harley J. Earl, this 1947 Buick Roadmaster convertible is a true 30,000 mile from new survivor with mostly original paint, interior and chrome. This would perform well in Preservation Class events and drives wonderfully as only low mileage original cars can. Living its life in California, Washington and Arizona, this is a rust free and very nice and solid example.

This Buick has been owned for 37 years by a collector of very special, limited production cars, Stanley Jason. Mr. Jason has now passed, but records indicate that he bought this Buick in California on the 9th of December 1984, which, by then, this Roadmaster had accumulated a mere 27,299 miles. The prior owner was Frank Stagnitto from Danville, CA. Mr. Stagnitto owned the car for many years. Prior service records indicate that by February of 1966 it had accumulated just 13,717 miles since new. This Buick is documented with 45 years of documentation. We love the file that comes with this car!

The Carlsbad Black (Paint Code 01) lacquer paint is largely original and by using a paint meter it is obvious that certain panels were likely touched up over the years. Most of this paint is the original factory paint. This is an incredibly original car with beautiful paint quality. There are many smaller touched up areas from scratches, mostly around the hood area (a common issue if the hood is opened or closed without due care). The paint has very nice shine and luster.

The front and rear bumpers have likely been rechromed at one point. The rest of the chrome is good to very good overall, with only light scratches from normal use and some light pitting on the door cap trim.

The white convertible top is presumably is an older a replacement and in very nice condition. We have rebuilt the hydraulic pump motor so all the hydraulics work well.

The interior is, from what we can ascertain, all original and in beautiful condition overall. It appears as though the upholstery had seat covers from new as they look amazingly nice. The red leather and tan Bedford cord inserts are in excellent condition with only a few tiny holes from use or moths. The upholstery overall is in excellent original condition with very little patina. The carpet shows the most wear since they were never covered. The dash and steering wheel are in beautiful original condition.

The two front windows and the front seat are powered and operated well. The inspection report covers the details, but most everything works well. This Buick is accessorized well with driving lights, bumper guards, spotlight and Sonomatic pushbutton radio with antenna.

The engine is beautifully detailed and while most of the engine compartment is original, the engine has been repainted and looks great. The 320 CID five main bearing straight eight runs beautifully and the 144 BHP provides 276 ft lbs of torque for smooth performance. The three speed manual transmission shifts beautifully and this example is tight and solid due to its low mileage. The ride is smooth with its long 129 inch wheelbase.

Of the nearly 12,000 Buicks produced in 1947, only about 4% were the Roadmaster convertibles. And this must be one of the most low mileage, original examples extant.

For more information and details, please email, call or text Harry Clark at sales@classicpromenade.com or +1.623.404.9042. The Buick is in our showroom in Phoenix, Arizona.
