This is the iconic 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Spider Veloce (105.62) that has been beautifully restored as a weekend classic driver, for touring or show. It is presented in the classic Russo red livery with new tan leather interior. We are huge fans of Alfas, and this is one to seriously consider. The 1969 Alfa offered here is the last of the Round Tails.

According to factory records, this Alfa Spider was first sold on the 13th of May 1970 to Alfa Romeo Germany, Frankfurt. Its early years were spent in Ohio and on July 16, 2010, Wedgewood Sports acquired the Alfa from Frank Porreca with a mere 95,000 miles accumulated since new. Through 2010 and 2011, the Alfa benefitted from a significant restoration undertaken by Wedgewood Sports and Import in Powell, OH. Wedgewood Sports had been working on Alfas for over 30 years before commencing the restoration. A full rebuild of the original engine and drivetrain commenced and included a Weber performance cam set, suspension upgrades and more. A full bare metal repaint was also performed in its original Russo (Paint Code 514- Red). New GTA Alloy Wheels were installed and most all of the seals, emblems and other components were replaced with new. New Carello Perspex Headlight Covers were installed and look terrific! Included in the sale is a significant file with receipts for all the parts associated with its restoration. Upon request, we can send you an email link with 50 pages of just parts for the restoration.

The Russo Paint has gorgeous shine and luster and has been polished for show. The paint quality is very nice and looks great with the tan leather interior and black top. Most of the chrome and stainless-steel trim are new, but the bumpers and certain other trim are original and in good condition. Later, the Alfa received its present gorgeous tan leather interior, which is in exceptional condition today. The black Haartz canvas convertible top is as-new and fits very well. The black vinyl top boot is also as-new and looks great. Overall, this is a wonderful Alfa Romeo that can be enjoyed as a classic driver, toured or shown. It needs nothing to be enjoyed today.

The engine compartment displays Alfa’s 1.8-liter twin overhead cam four-cylinder engine that is still considered a classic masterpiece. The engine compartment is very well detailed and displays the two Weber carburetors that help the performance and reliability of the drivetrain. The five-speed transmission was also rebuilt and shifts well through the gears. The Vredestein radials are new and have few miles. The undercarriage has been well detailed and painted and looks great.

This Alfa comes complete with nearly 15 years of history, restoration and parts receipts, shop manual, tools and ownership history.

We have this Alfa priced well. The Hagerty No. 2 value is $70,600. See the Hagerty Values here: 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 Round Tail | Hagerty Valuation Tools

For more information and details, call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. See our 120 photos and three videos on our website to learn more. This Alfa is available for viewing at our Phoenix showroom. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

This is an incredibly rare example of the 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Convertible that is a rust-free car that has covered a mere 22,000 miles from new. This is one of fewer than 50 produced in Fly Yellow and has been well cared for its entire life. She’s offered ready to be enjoyed for local shows or tours.

This Alfa was acquired by her first owner in 1994 in Bayside, New York and enjoyed until 2002 with an accumulation of 14,353 miles. She was then cared for by owners in Texas, Arizona and California. This Alfa has benefitted from regular routine service and comes with many years of service receipts. Overall, she is in very nice condition and reflects its ultra-low mileage of 22,473 from new.

The livery is in its original and rare factory color, Fly Yellow Giallo Ginestra (Paint Code 258). Our research revealed there were about fifty 1993 Spiders produced in Fly Yellow and this one of only 20 made with the five-speed manual transmission. The paint has excellent shine and luster and is in beautiful condition today. There are several small scuffs on the front and rear bumpers and on the driver’s side rear. They’re only noticeable upon close inspection. The newer black canvas convertible soft top is in excellent condition and shows very well.

The Black leather and suede seats are in showroom condition. The seats were reupholstered using the correct OEM factory from Italy, which required a year have made. The leather is soft and supple as only the Italians have mastered! The black carpet and rubber mats also show very well and are in excellent condition. The dashboard is in excellent condition and appear almost as new. The upgraded Nardi wood steering wheel feels create and shows very well. It is a throwback to the early Alfa’s that works perfectly in this Series 4 model. The overall interior is in excellent condition reflecting the care and love it has received.

The 1993 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Convertible comes standard with a 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine that produces 120 BHP. The power is transmitted through its five-speed manual transmission which shifts very smoothly. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and correct. The undercarriage appears very clean and in very nice visual condition which reflect its dry Texas, Arizona and California life with limited miles.

The Alfa is accompanied with its Owner’s Manual, numerous service receipts, the Alfa Romeo Owner’s Bible and the Alfa Romeo Spider Complete Story publication. It also comes complete with a replacement black top boot.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Alfa is available for inspection at our Phoenix showroom.

This 1971 Alfa Romeo Montreal is fantastic example of the Bertone bodied V-8 Alfa Romeo that is considered one of Alfa’s wilder production designs in the 1970’s. They are comparatively rare in the U.S., as they were never exported and sold new here in the United States. This example has benefitted from a sympathetic restoration and preservation, and is very well presented. The car shows very few signs of age or abuse and has a little over 8,261 kilometers on the odometer, which we believe to be 108,261 total kilometers (approximately 67,000 miles). This Montreal has had four owners from new.

This Alfa was stripped down to the metal and painted in the mid 2000’s in Europe. While we do not have records of the repaint, it is still in very nice condition today. The color was changed from its original orange to black, and there is absolutely no indication that the car was ever orange.

This car retains every option available on a Montreal at the time, including power windows.

BODY: This Montreal was re-painted as noted above. It is in very nice condition. All of the body panels are ripple, dent, and rust free and don’t appear to have ever had any sort of body or accident damage. The glass and seals are in excellent condition and there are no leaks evident. The windshield is original and also in very nice condition. The chrome and stainless trim are also in excellent condition.

INTERIOR: The black interior was the subject of intensive preservation and is trimmed in the original and unrestored fabric seating areas with original grey carpeting. The seating areas are in beautiful condition, with no rips, tears, or wear evident. The door panels are also in the excellent condition.

All of the accessories, including the climate control are in perfect working condition.

The windows power up and down and work perfectly. The trunk is in very nice condition, the trunk covering is in excellent condition with no rips, tears, or missing pieces, and the spare tire is accounted for and in very nice condition. Most important, the mechanism that opens and closes the glass lid is in perfect working order. The gas operated arms that hold the glass lid up were replaced with exact reproductions sourced from a German company that produces Alfa parts that look identical to the original items but perform better under all circumstances once installed.

UNDERCARRIAGE: The underside of the car is exactly what a low-mileage car should look like. It was not in any type of harsh climate or abused at any time over its life. It is very solid and very well preserved and shows no evidence of any accident damage. It is in very nice original condition.

ENGINE and ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The powerplant in this Alfa is the original V-8 engine. It has not been restored and is completely original down to the SPICA fuel injection, which functions perfectly. All aspects of the engine are in perfect working order, and the compression ratio is exactly where it should be.

The engine bay has been preserved and has all of the original specifications with all components in operational condition. Every detail of the engine compartment is “Alfa Correct” and beautifully presented. It would be difficult to find an original engine compartment with a better presentation.

All engine and drivetrain maintenance is up to date, including the following services:

-oil and filter change

-air filter replacement

-installation of new fuel filter

-engine coolant

-installation of new drive belts

-lubrication of entire chassis

-full service of the braking system including new pads and fluid flush

TRANSMISSION: The five-speed transmission in this car is in perfect working order and functions as it should. It shifts through all of the gears smoothly and is the original transmission to the car.

TIRES, WHEELS, and BRAKES: The wheels are the original Alfa Montreal lightweight magnesium wheels, which are very special in and of themselves. They were restored last year in the correct color and shade, and are in beautiful condition, as you can see in the photos. A lot of time and effort was placed into the difficult restoration of the wheels.

The tires are in very nice condition. They are the correct and original size replacement for the Montreal.

The entire braking system has been gone through to ensure every part works as it should. All rotors, pads, and seals have been replaced and brake fluid flushed.

OVERALL DRIVING IMPRESSIONS: This Montreal runs and drives as it should. The 8-cylinder powerplant runs and accelerates smoothly and very quickly, and the transmission shifts as it should.

The car drives around town and on the open road with no squeaks, creaks, or rattles. It has had all of the necessary service recently performed including oil-change, tune up, installation of new battery, etc. It needs absolutely nothing to drive, show, and enjoy. All of the mechanical aspects of the car work as they should.

PLEASE NOTE: This Montreal still retains all of its original or N.O.S. components! This means the engine, transmission, rear end, etc. are original or correct to the car. All of the numbers, markings, etc., are correct. It is an original and very special car that, as evidenced by the low mileage and condition, has been driven very sparingly and properly cared for. If you’ve never driven a Montreal of this period, you are in for a treat with this one!

If you are serious about purchasing this vehicle, we encourage you to inspect it in person and test drive it.

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The Montreal is with its owner in the Chicagoland area.

This is a 77,000 mile, California and Arizona original 1987 Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio Pininfarina spider. These top-of-the-line spiders are increasingly hard to find in original condition. It is nearly rust and appears to be accident free. This example comes with loads of extras and is equipped with well functioning air conditioning.

We love the silver Quadrifoglio’s with the gray leather and contrasting red carpeting. The overall condition of the car is very good and it will prove to be an enjoyable tour car as well as to display at local shows.

The car has just returned from being serviced by the engineers at Service First here in Phoenix. They completed a service and repaired items as needed. The engine is excellent and strong with excellent performance. The car runs and drives wonderfully in all respects. Just as you would expect with a 77k mile car.

Read about the documented history of the car below, the 158-point inspection report and please carefully inspect the 100+ photos in the gallery. This Quad comes complete with the original factory hardtop, original keys, owners manual, warranty book, and many service and registration receipts.

It is rare to see all original and unmolested Alfa spiders. This example is in very good condition. It wears much of its original silver paint from the factory. There may have been some additional paintwork and the passengers door has a faint mismatch in paint from the rest of the car. Any paintwork was performed years ago. There are no dents or scratches, but there are several small chips from normal use. It also has its original matching Quadrifoglio Pininfarina Hardtop, a special design for this top-of-the-line model that had a $22,500 MSRP!!

The sporty interior is mostly all original and looks very nice. We love the authentic Nardi wood steering wheel. The original gray leather seats are in nice condition and may be used as is for many years. The passenger seat is the original leather and the drivers seat has been replaced professionally in a matching vinyl. Overall the interior is good. The original red carpeting is in very nice condition both in the passenger area, the storage area behind the seats and in the trunk. We love the bright red carpeting! It looks stunning in the otherwise conservative black and gray color scheme. The dash pad has two cracks, a common problem for these Alfas. The original leather wrapped steering wheel is included in the sale. Alfa floor mats are included and look great. A JVC Am/FM CD player has been added.

The soft top is likely the newer and is as-new. It is the correct black canvas top and is in excellent condition. The rear window plastic is in perfect condition.

The full compliment of instruments and gauges all work. The Pirelli radials are in nice condition. The larger but lighter weight 15 inch Quadrifoglio wheels are unique for this model and are in very nice condition with a very cool looking Alfa crested logo for the center caps. The air conditioning works well, too!

The brakes and handling of the car are fine. It is very tight and supple. This Alfa comes complete with a shop manual, original sales brochure and loads of Alfa goodies that the seller has collected at various Monterrey Motor Week events and such.

History of this Alfa Spider-

This Quad was bought by the present owner about ten years ago in the San Francisco Bay area. The present owner is a well known automotive photographer who has enjoyed it on many Alfa Romeo club tours and rallies.

We have priced this Quad very well. The following is the NADA Guide value specifically for the 1987 Quadrifoglio spiders (with the hardtop):

Low Retail: $16,830

Average Retail: $26,510

High Retail: $28,930

This a wonderful opportunity to buy a rust and accident free, mostly original Quadrifoglio spider. The Alfa is located at our Phoenix, AZ showroom. For more details please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

This is a 45,000 mile, two owner original Quadrifoglio spider. These top-of-the-line spiders are increasingly hard to find in original condition. This Spider has a two owner documented history from new. It is nearly rust and appears to be accident free- We bought this car sight unseen and it was grossly misrepresented. We will be very thorough in our description so that the person buying this knows the true strengths and weaknesses of this car.

We love the black Quadrifoglio’s with the gray leather and contrasting red carpeting. The overall condition of the car is good but it needs TLC.

We had the car serviced by the Alfa-only engineers at Auto International here in Phoenix. They checked the compression and serviced the fuel injection. The engine is excellent and strong with excellent compression. The car runs and drives wonderfully in all respects. Just as you would expect with a 45k mile car.

Read about the documented history of the car below and please carefully inspect the 100 photos in the gallery. This Quad comes complete with the original factory hardtop, original keys, owners manual, warranty book, and a pile of service and registration receipts.

It is rare to see all original and unmolested Alfa spiders. This example is in very good condition. It wears all its original black paint from the factory. Although we were assured the car had never had any paintwork done, it does appear that there was cheap paintwork performed years ago. This car will need to be painted. There are small dents, scratches and chips on most all panels but it would require minimal prep work for a proper repaint. It also has its original matching Quadrifoglio Pininfarina Hardtop, a special design for this top-of-the-line model that had a $22,500 MSRP!!

The sporty interior is all original and looks very nice. The original gray leather seats are in decent condition and may be used as is for many years. The passenger seat is a little for dry and has a seam split. Overall the interior is good. The original carpeting is in very nice condition both in the passenger area, the storage area behind the seats and in the trunk. We love the bright red carpeting! It looks stunning in the otherwise conservative black and gray color scheme. The dash pad has one small crack, a common problem for abused or neglected Alfas. The leather wrapped steering wheel is in very nice condition.

The soft top is likely the original from new. It is the correct black canvas top and is in good condition. The rear window plastic is in good condition and has slightly yellowed with no cracks. It will likely require a few minutes to stretch closed if used!

The clock, stereo, horn, blinkers and emergency lights are not presently functioning. Nor are the heater fans. The air conditioning is not blowing cold but all else seems to work. The full compliment of instruments and gauges all work with the speedo being stuck. Importantly, the odometer works fine. The original Alfa stereo and cassette player is not powered up and we believe the power antenna also is non-operational. The radials are just a few years old and in like-new condition. The larger but lighter weight 15 inch Quadrifoglio wheels are unique for this model and are in good condition.

The brakes and handling of the car are fine. There are no squeaks and rattles. It is very tight and supple.

History of this Alfa Spider-

This Quad was bought new on June 2nd, 1987 by Joyce Prater from Graffeo’s Imported Cars from Birmingham, Alabama. By September 24th, 1990 the Quad was sold to David Jones from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. By that time the Alfa had accumulated a mere 14,100 miles. David enjoyed the Quad for the next 24 years.

We have priced this Quad very well. The following is the NADA Guide value specifically for the 1987 Quadrifoglio spiders (with A/C and the hardtop):

Low Retail: $13,340

Average Retail: $19,090

High Retail: $21,965

This a wonderful opportunity to buy a largely rust and accident free, all original Quadrifoglio spider. The Alfa is located at our Paradise Valley, AZ location, ZIP 85283. For more details please call Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

This is a 46,000 mile, three owner all original Quadrifoglio spider. These top-of-the-line spiders are increasingly hard to find in very nice original condition. This Spider has documented history from new and has been well maintained. It is rust and accident free- just the way to buy them. We love the silver Quadrifoglio’s with the gray leather and contrasting red carpeting. And this example doesn’t disappoint!

The overall condition of the car is very good in every way. The cosmetics and mechanical condition all support the mileage as one would expect from a fully documented original motorcar. Read about the documented history of the car below and please carefully inspect the 100 photos in the gallery. This Quad comes complete with the original factory hardtop, original keys, owners manual, warranty book, car cover and a pile of service and registration receipts.

It is rare to see all original and unmolested Alfa spiders. This example is in very good condition. It wears all its original metallic silver paint (Doppio Stato) from the factory. There are no signs anywhere of any paintwork on the car. There are a few minor scratches but overall it is in very good condition and beautifully preserved. It also has its original matching Quadrifoglio Pininfarina Hardtop, a special design for this top-of-the-line model that had a $22,500 MSRP!

[tmm_video cover_image=”” cover_image_on_mobiles=”1″ width=”” height=”” sc_id=”sc599055122771″]http://youtu.be/MxWVd1L8LmA[/tmm_video]

The sporty interior is all original and looks very nice. The original gray leather seats are beautiful and are in the nicest condition of any Alfa we’ve seen. The leather is still very soft and supple with no rips, tears or loose stitching. The original carpeting is in very nice condition both in the passenger area, the storage area behind the seats and in the trunk. We love the bright red carpeting! It looks stunning in the otherwise conservative silver and gray color scheme. The dash pad has no cracks, a common problem for abused or neglected Alfas. The leather wrapped steering wheel is in very nice condition with only the top seam showing some minor splitting.

The soft top is likely the original from new. It is the correct black canvas top and is in remarkabley nice condition. The rear window plastic is in good condition and has not yellowed or cracked. According to the previous owner, he had never removed the hardtop since at least 1998, or perhaps earlier. It will likely require a few minutes to stretch closed if used!

The horn and full compliment of instruments and gauges all work with the tachometer appearing to understate the revs. The original Alfa stereo and cassette player is not powered up and we believe the power antenna also is non-operational. The air conditioning is also non-operational. As winter is here we are not repairing this item. The Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce radials are just a few years old and in like-new condition. The larger but lighter weight 15 inch Quadrifoglio wheels are unique for this model and look wonderful.

The brakes and handling of the car are superb. There are no squeaks and rattles. It is very tight and supple. The engine revs freely and sounds excellent upon acceleration or at idle. There are only very minor leaks that do not need tending to.

History of this Alfa Spider-

This Quad was bought new on October 10, 1987 by Ed and Earnestine Mosby from Matteson, Illinois from Suburban Auto imports. By April 1992 the Quad was sold to Dirk Hollobaugh from Des Moines, Illinois. Dirk was a collector of sports cars and enjoyed the Quad. By August 1998 Dirk sold the Alfa to Steve Hardy who he knew from ice hockey. Steve Hardy was also from Des Moines, Illinois and the Alfa then had 42,000 total miles. Being the last registered owner in 2014 Mr. Hardy enjoyed the car for 16 years and accumulated a total of 4,000 miles over that time. Mr. Hardy had the Alfa serviced at Beckley Imports from 1999 until 2005 and then at Westside Auto Pros through 2014.

The service invoices are relatively complete, dating back to at least 1992. The mileage is well documented. In 1999 the Alfa had 42,100 miles. In 2008 the drive belts were all replaced with 45,500 miles. The fuel pumps were replaced in 2012 with 45,800 miles. Many of the gaskets, the ignition coil, pressure regulator and charcoal canister were replaced in 2013 with 45,950 miles. In August 2014 the Quad had a major service including replacing the following: front wheel seals, the in-tank fuel pump, full major tune-up, injection hoses, clutch slave cylinder and hose, front brake rotors, calipers and pads, and the air intake hoses.

We have priced this Quad very well. The following is the NADA Guide value specifically for the 1987 Quadrifoglio spiders (with A/C and the hardtop):

This is a nice survivor Alfa Spider that has been fastidiously maintained since new. The stack of receipts literally is several inches thick!! This has all the original (Rosso 514) paint, tan leather interior, glass, etc. Fully maintained since new, this Alfa is ready to add to the new owner’s collection!

This Spider was bought new in San Diego and lived there all of its life until moving to Arizona for the last ten years. It is as rust free as an Alfa Spider can be. This Alfa has all of its original paint and has never been in any accident. We took several pictures of the undercarriage to show how clean and unmolested this Alfa is: all the shields are there and everything is clean and tidy.

The paint is all original. No touch up has ever been performed since new! This Alfa has never been in an accident. It is a true survivor. There are several small scratches in the front that we have shown in the photos. There are also several small dime size door dings that can easily be repaired using a paintless dent removal service. The paint is excellent overall and is very glossy and vibrant- again, this Alfa has been garaged since new and it shows! There is a small area on the outside lip of the trunk area (near the trunk latch) that has superficial corrosion starting. This would be easy to clean up and correct. This is likely from excess water from regular car washes.

The original leather is the supple tan Italian glove leather. It has the normal age cracking and shows some wear but has no tearing. The carpet is all original and very cool!! Even the dash is remarkable with no cracking whatsoever. This Alfa has been garaged since new and is a fantastic survivor. We have installed a new correct tan canvas OEM convertible top and the Alfa comes complete with the original tan top boot.

Everything works on this Alfa. It has dual chrome electric mirrors that work fine, the Clarion stereo still works well. The electric windows and all the lights work as they should.

Mechanically the Alfa is very strong running. The fuel injection has been rebuilt and the valves adjusted within the past few thousand miles. The Pirelli radials have less than 4,000 miles but are now 12 years old (garaged the entire time). In December of 2013 we changed the oil, performed a complete tune up, new fuel filters and replaced the valve cover gasket. This will give the new owner a nice baseline for continued servicing.

The trunk has the original spare tire, jack and tire wrench in the original burgundy factory pouch. The Alfa comes with the original owner’s manual and the complete documentation of its history including insurance cards, smog checks, service receipts, registration documents and the bill of sale from 1984.

OWNERSHIP HISTORY
This Alfa was bought new in San Diego by Karen Hall Murphy. She kept the Spider until August of 1984 when she sold it to Frank Ashley of Mission Beach (San Diego). Ms. Murphy had accumulated 28,800 miles in the first three years of ownership. Frank Ashley bought the Alfa on August 14, 1984 and had paid $7,400.

Mr. Ashley lived on Turquoise Street in Mission Beach in the same house since the early 1950’s. Like his house near the Beach, this Alfa was his baby. He kept both until his health required him to move in with family in Arizona in 2004. In 2004, Frank’s nephew and estate executor moved the Alfa into his garage in Glendale, AZ. From new, this Alfa has had two families owning it.

The mileage accumulation for this Alfa is:
1984 28,000
1998 43,000
2000 64,000
2003 66,000
2013 68,000

This Alfa is fully documented. From the Bill of Sale between Karen and Frank to every service receipt for the Alfa since 1984. We even have the Warranty Card for the Clarion AM/FM cassette that frank had installed on September 8, 1984! We love this type of detailed documentation.

This is a wonderful example to add to a collection or to enjoy on weekends. It is all original and wonderfully maintained since new. This is the right color combination and a great value for the money. For more details please contact Harry Clark at 602.245.7200 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

This has been owned by the former owner, David Hiatt since at least least 1982. It comes with a nice file history with invoices dating back to 1982. The Alfa has been regularly upgraded and serviced.

Upgrades include the European set-up of the Italian Dellorto dual carbs replacing the finicky fuel injection. In addition, it had installed the Performance Camshafts from International Auto Parts in March 2010. We also love the plexiglass headlight covers that the owner imported from Germany in 2005.

In April 2004 the Alfa had accumulated 22,941 miles. A major service was performed by Veloce Motors in Portland, OR including rebuilding the Dellorto carbs. By July 2007 the Alfa had 27,000 miles. By March of 2010 the Alfa had 27,385 miles and a major service was performed, including brakes, head rebuild, new performance cam installed, radiator serviced, differential leaks sealed, carbs rebuilt, etc. All old registration documents, receipts and invoices will be included with the sale.

New Sumitomo radials were installed in late 2007 and the tires have nearly no wear to them (less than 1,000 miles). The Alfa comes with the highly desirable Panasport wheels.

The Alfa comes with a later model factory hardtop and a new roll bar that has not been installed. Look at the photos in the gallery for photos of the hardtop and roll bar.

The Alfa is a very nice daily driver. It is a great candidate for Alfa Club tours and rallies. The paint is an older repaint in the original Alfa Rosso red. It has a variety of small imperfections that at five feet are not noticeable but on closer inspection are there. The interior is in nice condition and the dash pad has a very very small crack, about an inch in length (this is a very good sign as most all have large cracks). The tachometer is presently not functioning. The speedometer had been rebuilt and works well as do the other gauges.

The convertible correct canvas top is nearly no and shows no wear.

This is a nice opportunity to acquire a very solid reportedly low mileage Alfa spider at an affordable price. For more details or to schedule an inspection please call Harry at 602.245.7200 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com.

This is the one to buy! Red with tan leather/suede interior, air conditioning, power everything, 5-speed transmission and even the rare factory hardtop. This is an excellent example with about three prior owners since new and always treated as a third car only, amassing 42,000 miles over 22 years. It is rare to find Alfa’s of any year with low mileage because they are reliable, economical and fun to drive.

The late series Spiders are the very best. They have all the refinements that over 30 years of producing the same car can yield. The final series have nice Italian attention to detail such as wood accents on the interior, power steering, power windows, air conditioning, power anti-lock brakes, etc. It has the very best Pininfarina design that was refined in the end to look fantastic. They moved the spider from a raw sports car to one that can be driven by mature adults as everyday cars or a weekend toy!

The tan leather interior has suede accents that look terrific. Overall the interior is in excellent condition. The carpeting is black and the floor mats are black with red piping. The convertible top is black and in excellent condition. Since the top should typically be down, we must mention that the top boot is tan. The dash and door panels are a very tasteful mixture of tan and black.

We have complete and detailed service records which will be included in the sale of the Alfa. A summary of the most recent service includes: A major injector service was performed at 37,800 miles, including a valve adjustment, engine mounts, a major tune-up, brake master cylinder rebuild and the air conditioning was converted to 134 (which is a great improvement!). At 38,500 miles (five years later), the catalytic converter was replaced and the brakes flushed. Then, most recently last fall, the following were replaced: the clutch, the clutch master, the transmission mount, the pinion seal, the differential pan gasket and the valve cover gasket. This Alfa has been regularly serviced and always loved.

The car is ready to enjoy. We’ve already signed it up for the Concorso Italiano (www.concorso.com) in Monterey, Ca as part of the Pebble Beach weekend!!

This Spider was sold new in the Orlando, FL area and remained there for twenty years until 2004. Then for the next five years it was in Texas. Finally, the last owner kept the car in Lexington, South Carolina. It is quite apparent that the Spider was climate controlled garage kept (we know for sure in SC it was) by the excellent condition of the original paint, plastic trim, interior, etc.

The car has never been in an accident and is free from rust. Please review our 108 photos of the car.

Please look at the values for this model provided by Hagerty, ranging from $28,400 to $16,100 for an average car:
