This 1965 Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur with coachwork by HJ Mulliner, Park Ward (MPW) is arguably the pinnacle of post war luxury touring. This rare Bentley Continental is the very last of the 18 LHD examples were hand built by the craftsmen at HJ Mulliner with bespoke specifications for its owners. This Bentley Continental is no exception as it is very well optioned and was beautifully restored to concours condition by the marque specialists at Vantage Motorworks. Whether to exhibit in concours events, participate in tours or hold as an investment, this is one of the nicest examples extant.

This Bentley Continental was ordered new by Auto Import Sales, Ltd through Rolls-Royce of Canada, Ltd for Mr. Seymour W Kenney of the Kenney Construction Co in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada. Imagine, Mr. Kenney was just 47 years of age when he placed the order for this Bentley. The factory completed the special Continental specification chassis on July 15, 1965, when it was then dispatched to MPW in North London to be crafted into the Continental Flying Spur. The Bentley was transported to Halifax, Canada onboard the Pandora embarking on May 26, 1966.

The significant options specified by Mr. Kenney included refrigeration (air conditioning), an extra heater and Irvin seat belts including shoulder straps. We have approximately 50 pages of historical documents related to this Bentley. Mr. Kenney enjoyed the Flying Spur until October of 1972 when it was acquired by Robert Stoddard of Worcester, Mass. In November of 1985, the Flying Spur was then acquired by noted Rolls-Royce and Bentley collector and restorer Robert ‘Bob’ Jefferson of Brookfield, Mass. Then by 1993, the Bentley was acquired by Richard Gorman of Vantage Motorworks in North Miami where it became part of his personal collection, and they performed significant restoration before selling it to a world-renowned collection. Since October of 2021, the Bentley has entered into the personal collection of Elliot Cuker of NYC. Over the past two years, Mr. Cuker has invested approximately $15,000 worth of service work to ensure that this Bentley is in need of nothing.

The livery is striking in classic and elegant Tudor Gray and is complemented by gorgeous chrome and stainless steel. The paint has spectacular shine and luster and is nearly perfect with only a few minute imperfections in the high use areas. The stainless steel was beautifully polished and is in show condition today. The front parking lights are the correct North American specified clear lenses, which look terrific and are impossible to replace. The highly desirable twin headlights have the later series Bentley B logoed and beveled surround, which give an additional flair to the Bentley.

The interior is also in concours condition with gorgeous Beige leather hides (Trim Code VM 3234) and matching beige Wilton wool carpeting. Contrasting against the Beige upholstery is the spectacular burl walnut wood that is as new. We love the Continental specified tachometer and the original AM radio. The rare original factory Jetstar rear air conditioning is graciously mounted along the C-pillar and works very well today. Overall, the interior is striking and in concours condition.

The engine compartment was beautifully detailed by Vantage Motorworks, and all mechanical systems were addressed as needed during its restoration. As one would anticipate, the oil pressure is excellent as is the operating temperatures are perfect. The owner assures us that this Bentley can be driven with confidence. The radials are from last year and look terrific with the correct width wide white wall. The chassis was beautifully restored by Vantage Motorworks and looks excellent today (save for some light cleaning).

Of course, this Bentley comes complete with all of its Owner’s Handbook, small and large tools, jack, flashlight, spare and many maintenance and service receipts, historical documents and more.

This Bentley Continental is priced well for the market. The Hagerty Value Guide has the No. 1 Value at $406,000 with no adjustments for LHD and air conditioning. See the Hagerty Details here: 1965 Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur | Hagerty Valuation Tools

For more information and details, please call, text or email Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. This Bentley is available for viewing and inspection in NYC with its owner. We are pleased to offer FaceTime or WhatsApp live video inspections and we help coordinate shipping worldwide. We also have financing partners if you are interested in financing.

This is a showroom condition 2002 Bentley Arnage T that has accumulated about 24,000 miles (40k km) since new and has been faithfully serviced at Bentley dealerships. This is a Canadian delivery car that sold new on October 18, 2002 at Bentley Vancouver in Vancouver, BC. As early as 2005, this Bentley was transported between Canada and Arizona to be enjoyed by its owners. This Arnage T was regularly serviced by Bentley Vancouver and Bentley Scottsdale. It is offered on consignment by a collector client and friend.

The Silver Tempest livery is in exceptional condition. It is in near showroom condition with no dents, scratches or faults. There are numerous very small rock chips in the front from highway driving. The windshield also has a few very small imperfections. We love the famous Bentley winged B’s and logos that were done in black for the T series. The 19 inch split rims are also special for the T series and are in excellent condition.

The black leather is soft and supple and features the diamond stitching pattern throughout. The interior is accented with darker walnut trim complimented with engine turned aluminum panels. The look is stunning. The black Wilton wool carpet has overlay mats with the Bentley logo. The drilled accelerator and brake pedals are also classic Bentley performance accessories. This Bentley has the sunroof which is quite a rare option for Arnages. The rear seats are electrically reclining and feature seat heaters. The picnic tables also have the dual wood and engine turned accents. Two Bentley umbrellas are stored securely in the trunk.

The 412 CID V8 is twin turbocharged and was one of the most powerful production cars on the planet in 2002. With 450 hp and 645 ft lbs of torque, this Bentley is exciting to drive! The top speed is reported to be 168 mph through the four speed automatic transmission. The Bentley comes with all of its books and many years of dealer service receipts. It also has a perfectly clean CARFAX. The speedometer is in kilometers rather than mph.

One year ago this T benefitted from a major service that included $1,900 for ceramic finishing to the entire exterior. The full cost of the service was over $10,000.

For more information and details, call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or email us at sales@classicpromenade.com. The T is available for inspection at its owners home near Buffalo, NY.

We are pleased to offer this beautifully restored 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190SL that was cherished by its first owner for 53 years. Its second owner spent over $100,000 restoring what was a pristine original car to nearly showroom condition. This is a roadster that can be immediately shown at concours events as well as toured in rallies worldwide. This example is a numbers matching, correctly restored 190SL.

This 190SL was purchased new at Dan Gillum Motors in Reno, Nevada on April 15, 1961 by Dayton J. McDonald, DDS. Dr. McDonald lived through the decades of his ownership in Sparks, NV where the Mercedes was kept in a very dry environment. Dr. McDonald and his wife enjoyed the 190SL for the next 53 years. It was kept as a pristine original car, never having seen rust or a hard life.

By 2014, the car was then sold to Ms. Eve Patton. Ms. Patton was a serious car enthusiast who has participated in a host of vintage rallies, including the Mille Miglia. Ms. Patton retained noted collector car appraiser Steve Linden to appraise the car and he stated that it was one of the best original 190SLs he had ever seen. Following her acquisition of the roadster, she commenced a complete restoration that exceeded $100,000. The detailed invoices and paperwork are all documented in the extensive binder.

The livery on this 190SL was refinished in Signal Red and remains in excellent, showroom condition. The repaint was performed by Aventura Motors in 2016 at a cost of $38,000. We love Signal Red on Mercedes roadsters. This also includes both convertible tops, the Black Haartz cloth convertible top as well as a thoroughly restored black hardtop that really completes the look. The chrome and stainless are also in showroom condition.

The interior has been all restored and looks terrific in its black leather contrasted with ample amounts of chrome, stainless and Signal Red painted trim. Together it looks timeless and classic. The interior work was all performed by Timeless Classic Auto. The work is excellent and only normal minor use is evident on the leather.

The engine compartment is beautifully detailed for show. The engine and mechanical restoration was performed by SL Auto Haus in 2015. The photos in the photo gallery show the quality of the work. The roadster has had little mileage added since the restoration work. There is little patina evident throughout this Mercedes.

It is rare to find a 190SL roadster that was cared for by its original owner for 53 years in the dry climate of Reno, NV. Its rarer for the example to be in the stunning combination of Signal Red with black leather, two tops and full restored.

This 190SL comes complete with its factory Data Card, original sales invoice, owner’s manuals, the binder of historical documentation, factory tool kit and a terrific provenance.

For more details and information, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The 190SL is available for viewing in NYC, NY.

This is a stunning freshly restored 1965 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series I Open-Two-Seater (OTS) roadster that is a numbers matching example, as verified by the Jaguar Heritage Trust COA. This E-Type is also within the first few hundred 4.2 E-Types built (Serial Number 10199).

This Jaguar was about 75% of the way through its restoration when the owner, John Burnham, was no longer able top complete it due to health issues. The E-Type was acquired by Cooper Classics (NYC, New York), in early 2019 who then commissioned Briarcliff Classics to complete the restoration which concluded earlier this year. According to Cooper Classics, this Jaguar was originally delivered to an owner in Wisconsin, eventually making its way to Illinois and then New York. It is believed that this is the first time that this car has been offered for sale publicly.

The restoration started with a nice and solid, rust-free original example. With matching numbers and one of the first 200 built, this originally Opalescent Golden Sand on Light Tan E-Type was ripe for restoration. Briarcliff Classics has done a wonderful job of injecting new life into what is now a fully sorted roadster ready to be driven an enjoyed. Be sure to note the manuals, receipts, and documentation photos at the end of the photo gallery. The restoration was completed in June 2019, where it has remained in sellers care ever since.

This E-Type has been beautifully finished in Signal Red complimented by a black Stayfast convertible top and boot cover, complete with chrome wire wheels, giving it a classic and spectacular look. The paint, chrome and finish work are all in excellent condition. This is ready to be shown at concours events.

The gorgeous black leather interior and matching black carpeting is in excellent condition, along with all other components in the interior. The dash, instruments and door panels are also either new or restored. Everything works as it should. This car also comes complete with a full tool kit.

The heart of this particular E-Type is what lies beneath the bonnet. The engine starts instantly and runs just the way Jaguar intended. It shifts through all gears with ease with a solid and tight suspension. Power is vast and smooth throughout the power band, with an impressive exhaust note coming from the correct porcelain headers, running its way through a stainless steel exhaust system. The carburetors are properly tuned and balanced, and the choke functions as it should.

This E-Type has gone through and passed Cooper Classic’s exhaustive certification program. If you are interested in acquiring an E-Type that is essentially as-new or better than new, this may be your motorcar.

For more information and details, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com This Jaguar is located at Cooper Classics in New York City, New York.

Inspection reports available. See full photos, videos and more at www.classicpromenade.com

This is a beautifully restored 1952 MG TD previously owned and restored by Geoffrey Wheatly, the distinguished MG Registry Director, author of numerous historical MG documents, and a descendant of the craftsmen who worked at MG in the 1950’s assembling the TD. The Wheatly family lineage traces back to British Leyland, and Geoffrey Wheatly was very well known and respected in the MG community.

In early 2019, Mr. Wheatly unfortunately passed away, leaving the car in the possession of his wife. In April 2019, Cooper Classics (NYC, New York) acquired the car from Mr. Whealty’s widow. Cooper Classics does not have the service or restoration records. However, the condition of this TD and its ownership history should hopefully speak to the caliber of this motorcar.

This MG TD was completely restored in 2011 and features a number of period-correct touches, such as windshield visors, a windshield defroster, and badges throughout the car which showcase some of the past events that the car and its prior owner participated in (including a tour of the MG Factory in Abingdon). Further accompanying this TD is its full toolkit, workshop manual, soft top, tonneau cover, a complete set of excellent condition side curtains free of any tears, and the original hand-crank.

During the restoration, most all componentry of this TD was either rebuilt, refurbished or replaced. This included new paint, a carburetor rebuild, five new tires, and the rebuilding of the distributor and gauges, all of which function as they should.

The body and paint are in excellent condition. We love the MG Red livery and bright chrome work, while the black radiator inserts provide a particularly sporty look. The painted steel wheels with chrome center caps are classic and understated, and look very era appropriate. And one which we think suits this TD quite well.

The black leather and carpeting were also part of the 2011 restoration and are in fantastic condition. The engine-turned dash is reminiscent of Bentley and Bugatti, and it looks absolutely gorgeous. The subtle off-white Jaeger gauges with intricate needles are a tasteful touch and ready for use!

Mechanically, this TD drives exactly as it should. It comes to life at the turn of a key, and shifts through all gears with ease. According to the owner, this TD is top condition mechanically and is serviced and ready to be enjoyed.

For more information and details, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com. The MG TD is available for viewing in New York City, New York.

See inspection report, full photos, videos and more at classicpromenade.com. More details coming soon.

This is a beautifully restored US delivery 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SL with some of the most desired color combinations and options. This Mercedes has been well cared for in every respect, being one of the most iconic models ever produced.

The three-year nut and bolt restoration was performed by European Foreign Classics, LTD, and was done with impeccable detail and accuracy. This comprehensive restoration including rebuilding the engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, and rear end. This 280 was restored for the personal use of European Foreign Classics owner and resulting in what could be considered one of the finer Pagodas on the market.

The restoration took place over a 3-4 year process, in which the owner documented the entirety of the process on a single invoice. However, given that this car was done for himself, he did not create individual invoices for the work done. Nonetheless, we are provided with restoration photos that show the extent of what is considered a complete nut and bolt restoration. The 280SL has travelled less than 500 miles since the restoration.

The condition and attention to detail associated with this example makes this an investment-grade collector car. Though the headlight notches and front fender spotwelds – important details on these SL’s – have been painted over and smoothed out. Nonetheless, this is a complete, numbers matching motorcar and one of only 830 produced, as 1971 was the final production year for this second generation (w113) roadster.

The livery is sporty and elegant in its original Signal Red (Paint Code 568) complemented by chrome that is beautiful condition. This 280SL has had a complete bare metal repaint, disassembling the car as needed. Likewise, the undercarriage was also painstakingly repainted during the restoration. The OEM European Headlights complete the look.

The Cognac Leather (Code 120) and Brown Carpet (6454) are all new and look, feel and smell as-new. Complimenting the leather are the beautifully refinished wood trim pieces. This 280SL also features a new but original equipment radio. We love the look of the beautiful chrome, Cognac leather and the red interior trim. The black convertible top looks as-new and the headliner is also in excellent condition. The same condition is true of the hard top as well, it is also fully restored.

The inspection confirms that the car has never had rust and that all instruments and accessories function as they should. This comes complete with a very nice original tool kit, the factory data card and the owners manuals.

This roadster is available for inspection in NYC, New York. For more details and information, please call, email or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com

This is a beautiful US delivery 1971 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Cabriolet that is thoroughly documented with 61,000 miles and three owners from new. This Mercedes has been well cared for in every respect, being one of the most coveted models ever produced. It has been thoroughly restored and is in gorgeous condition today. The condition, history, documentation and provenance associated with this example makes this an investment-grade collector car. This is a complete, numbers matching motorcar and one of only 1,232 produced.

The livery is crisp and elegant in its original White (Paint Code 050), contrasted with the Black Haartz cloth canvas convertible top (Code 9001) and complemented by beautiful chrome that is all in as-new condition. Barrington Coach Haus set out on a bare metal repaint about 15 years ago, disassembling the car as needed. As per the factory order, this has the completely painted undercarriage which was also painstakingly repainted during the restoration. This is documented well with receipts as well as complete photos, as seen in our photo gallery.

The Black Leather (Code 241) has been replaced and looks and smells as-new. Complimenting the leather is the beautifully refinished and plentiful use of rare Zebra wood. Importantly, this 3.5 Cabriolet was ordered new with many rare options, including the Behr air conditioning, tinted glass, center console, folding arm rests and power windows. And of course, it features its original Becker Europa radio with its automatic antenna. We love the two-tone horn, as well. The black convertible top looks new and the gray headliner is also in excellent condition.

The original numbers matching engine was fully rebuilt in 2003 by Manfreds Import Autos in Illinois. It now runs and drive beautifully with approximately 2,000 miles added since the rebuild, and less than 61,000 miles accumulated since new. The 280SE’s are incredibly tight and nimble, and with such low mileage this is exceptional even for this model.

This 280SE Cabriolet was delivered new on September 4th, 1970 and was purchased new by Rich Schulze of Elmwood Park, Illinois on September 7th, 1970. Mr. Schulze enjoyed this Cabriolet for three decades underscoring his adoration of this motorcar. Scott Davis acquired the Cabriolet from Mr. Schulze and had it for the next six years. The last owner was Ralph Furra from Newport Beach who acquired it in 2006.

This 280SE 3.5 is fully documented with five decades of receipts, service records, the original data card, Protecto Plate, owner’s manuals and numerous photos of the in-depth restoration work performed. It also comes complete with its tool roll, first aid kit, warning triangle, spare tire, jack and tools. The inspection confirms that the car has never had rust and that all instruments and accessories function as they should, including the original factory air conditioning.

This Cabriolet is available for inspection in NYC, New York. The winning bidder has the ability to negotiate a trade toward the purchase of the Mercedes. For more details and information, please call or text Harry Clark at +1.623.404.9042 or sales@classicpromenade.com.
