1976 Aston Martin Series III V8 Coupe (Saloon)
Most recent show winning award was the 2009 Los Angeles Concours D’Elegance, first place in June. This low mileage car is an original Southern California car in beautiful original condition throughout. Powerful V8, automatic, power windows, power steering and brakes. Recently installed new water pump, rebuilt carbs and tires. Leather on driver’s seat shows some wear but otherwise the dark blue leather is in beautiful shape. The platinum paint is striking and only has a few small road chips in the front end . Chrome is all in great shape. It has been a member of the Aston Martin Owners club of Southern California since 1976 and used primarily for shows and AMOC tours.
These cars are largely hand-built with aluminum bodies and each engine (a racing inspired engine) is personally built and signed by it’s individual builder-engineer. Between 1972 and 1977 fewer than 1,000 of these four carburated coupes were built. It is scarce to find one that has lived it’s life from new in Southern California and in such fine, unmolested and original concours condition. This motorcar comes complete with all its tools, manuals, files and documentation, original sales brochure and the upgraded stereo with multiple CD capability. For the true motoring enthusiast that desires the best but prefers the creature comforts of modern cars, this is a rare opportunity.
